A/N: Who's excited for tonight?! Me! I'm excited! I feel like we have been waiting soooooo long for this!

All right, here's the deal. I watched all the sneak peeks and I saw the one where Hetty tasters Callen and I was like...Hetty is just the most useless. I mean really? A taser? And she doesn't even close the deal because he gets away! I'm sorry, I just really dislike Hetty. I realize that she is the product of poor writing and that it's not Linda Hunt's fault but I can't change my feelings. So, here's what I think should happen after that little scene. I guess we'll find out tonight how close I got!

Kensi was quiet as they drove home. Deeks glanced at her several times but her face clearly said, "I'm not in the mood to talk."

He pulled into his parking spot and turned off the car. "You good?" he finally asked when Kensi made no move to get out.

She finally looked at him. "Yeah. You want Thai for dinner?"

"Sure," Deeks said slowly as she opened her door and stepped out into the night.

"You order. I'll get drinks," Kensi said when they were inside, already moving toward the kitchen.

"Okay," Deeks reached for his phone but his eyes followed his partner.

Something was wrong. The same something that had been wrong ever since they'd gotten back from Russia. One of their team was missing and it was eating away at them like a cancer.

There was the sound of breaking glass. "Shit!"

"Kensi?" Deeks walked around the corner. "Are you okay?"

A bottle lay smashed on the tile, liquid spilling out over the floor. Kensi knelt next to it attempting to pick up the pieces. "I'm fine. I just…I just dropped it and it broke and I…"

"Kens, Kens, just leave it," he reached for her arm and pulled her to her feet. "Come here. Talk to me. What's going on?"

Kensi's eyes met his and they were full of anger. "She's gone too far this time."

"She's just worried," Deeks told her, but his words sounded false even to his own ears.

"No, Deeks, she's not worried. She tasered him. Hetty tasered Callen in broad daylight. That's not worry, that's crazy," Kensi said.

"I know," Deeks said. "I know."

"We should be helping him Deeks. He needs us. And instead, Hetty basically stabbed him in the back. What was she thinking?"

"We're going to get him back," Deeks assured her. "Hetty is just…"

"Don't say she's just being Hetty. She's not Deeks. She's not the same person who got me started at NCIS. All the lies, all the times we've had to bail her out, all the times we've been on the receiving end of her poor choices…it's like I don't even know her anymore," she looked into his eyes. "And after today…I don't know if I can trust her."

Deeks studied her face. "Kens, I don't know if that's a road we want to go down. Hetty's had our backs more than once."

"Deeks…am I wrong about this? If I'm wrong…just tell me and I'll let it go."

He shook his head in resignation. "You're not wrong. I've noticed it too."

"I don't know what to do," Kensi shrugged helplessly, looking to him for answers.

"We trust each other. And we get Callen back. If we have to leave Hetty out of it then, that's what we'll do."

Kensi allowed him to pull her close. "I hate this."

"We'll figure it out," Deeks pressed a kiss to the top of her head. "Somehow."
