The Last Goodbye
Percy's POV:
Hey guys it's we…. We've had some crazy times together haven't we? We first met when I was a weird twelve year old social outcast and since then you have followed me faithfully for 10 years of my life. We laughed together, cried together, and saved the world together.
(Although I still haven't been to that dam snack bar.)
You were with me when I defeated my first monster, the Minotaur, and when I went down into the Underworld (for the first time), and accompanied me as I defeated Ares and returned Zeus's masterbolt. You followed me through the Sea of Monsters as I tried to cope with having a monster for a brother, while trying to find my best friend, and the one item that could save Camp Half-blood, one of the few places I could truly call home. You stood by me when I thought I had lost Annabeth and as I went to go save her and Lady Artemis from Mount Orthys. You followed me on my adventure through the Labyrinth, where I met the inventor Daedalus and Ms. O'Leary. Even as I faced off against Kronos himself you were there cheering me on.
When I woke up from my eight month long rest (the most refreshed I have felt in a long time, although it was terrifying waking up to a wolf in your face!) you were right there. As I struggled to regain my memory and complete another quest I knew you guys were right there beside me. When Annabeth and I fell into Tartarus it was terrifying, but again there you were right by my side. Up until the final battle against Mother Earth herself you never left my side. I guess what I am trying to say is thanks for being there for me.
I still remember the first words I spoke to you "Look I didn't want to be a half-blood." Although now that I look back on it…..
Third Person POV:
Suddenly you hear Annabeth shout "Hey Percy you coming." and Percy looks over his shoulder and smiles as you catch a glimpse of the entire Argo II crew, including Leo and Calypso, surrounding an obviously pregnant Annabeth smiling and laughing.)
Percy's POV:
…Well I guess everything turned out alright in the end. I'm really going to miss you guys, but hey maybe I'll see you again someday, I mean you never know right.
Third Person POV:
Percy then turns and starts to run back over to his friends, but as he nears them he turns around one last time and you see a lone tear roll down his face. He then lifts his hand and wave's goodbye one last time, then turns around and flashes away with everyone as all of them were
given Godhood after the war. After they disappear you just turn around with tears in your eyes as you reminisce all the adventures you went on with Percy and his friends and just slowly walk off a hill dominated by a lone pine tree that is guarded by an adolescent dragon.
The End
