So I decided to start over again from my previous fan fiction and do a more realistic better written story, I hope you enjoy

The clash of swords echoed throughout the valley as Gondorian soldiers desperately tried to fend off an ambush of Haradrim rebels who had caught them trapped in a narrow valley.

Elyes the head of the scouting party which had been sent to investigate rumours of growing Harad dissent against Gondorian rule was now worried, he was outnumbered and probably about to die.

"To me to me" screamed Elyes as he struggled to be heard over the sounds of the battle

What was left of the scouting party formed around Elyes their swords drawn ready to swipe at any attacker. Elyes eyed his surroundings, he estimated he has about a dozen men left while the enemy had about treble that number.

Elyes knew he was dead and yet he did not feel afraid he did not know why perhaps he welcomed death, or perhaps he was drunk on battle adrenaline. Whatever the reason he knew him and his men would fight to the last man.

The Haradrim circled them eyeing them viciously pointing their crude spears towards them they were relaxed for they knew that victory was already at hand. They let out a blood curdling scream and charged at the Gondorian soldiers who were huddled into a circle. It was not so much a fight as it was butchers work.

The Haradrim slashed at the stomachs of the soldiers, blood spraying everywhere the Gondorian soldiers fought back but outnumbered they started to fall. Elyes himself fought bravely managing to fell a few soldiers but even he was killed, an archer shot at him from the distance. Elyes had fallen but the question on the mind of the Harad soldiers was "how would Gondor respond"?

So that was my first chapter I wrote as best as I could. Chapter 2 will be coming and will be longer, this was an introductory chapter. Remember to follow and faveourite this, many thanks
