"Hey, Wy?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I ask you a question?"

"You already did stupid."

"Oh come on, you know what I mean! I really need to ask you something!"

"Urh, fine." Wy groaned, and she looked up from the book she was reading and glared at Sealand. They were currently sitting in an unused meeting room waiting for their guardians to finish up in the room next door. Sealand was sitting directly across the table from her. His head was resting on top of his crossed arms, and he had been staring at her for the last ten minutes, much to her annoyance. "Can't you bother someone else? Geez, how come when we come here you always bother me?" She asked in annoyance. "Why don't you ever bother Molossia or Seborga?"

"Oy, don't give him any ideas." Molossia said with a huff from the head of the table, where he was playing something on a gaming device. "I like my peace and quiet. Plus, Seborga isn't even here right now. We're the only ones here."

"It's not my fault that I don't have the internet password here." Sealand whined. "I'm bored!"

"That's your fault!" She said angrily. "You should have brought a book like me! And what are you even doing here?" She suddenly asked, pointing a finger at Molossia, who glanced up at her in annoyance. "Don't you have some weeds to pull or something?"

"For your information, I do." Moossia replied with a scowl. "I'm here because America asked me for some help with his garden after the meeting, and I just happen to be good at keeping my fucking plants alive, unlike you."

"How rude!" Wy shouted, and Sealand bust out into laughter, which caused her to turn around and scowl at him.

"Just ask your question and leave me alone already! I was just getting to the good part."

"Ok, fine! Geez, you're so mean." Sealand huffed. "I just wanted to know what the definition of freedom is."

"It's the right to speak, act, or think as you want without restriction." Molossia said in a bored tone, not even bothering to look up from his game. "Everyone knows that."

"Clearly not, seeing as he asked for the definition." Wy pointed out.

"Whatever." Molossia said with a slight scoff.

"Why do you even want to know that?" Wy asked, giving Sealand a confused look.

"I dunno. It kind of just popped into my head just now. I mean, I heard once on a T.V. show that there was no real definition for Freedom because everyone has a different idea of what their own personal freedom is. I was just wondering what Freedom meant to me is all." Sealand explained with a shrug.

"Are you stupid or something?" Wy asked in disbelief. "That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard! What the hell kind of T.V. shows are you watching? There's only one definition of freedom, you block head! Wait, were you watching those dumb show's Japan gave you again?"

"They're not dumb!" Sealand shouted angrily. "And it makes perfect sense! Molossia, back me up! I know you like those shows too!"

"How the fuck do you know that?!" Molossia asked, sputtering slightly as his face turning bright red at his secret love of children shows being reveled. "Uh, I mean, who the fuck told you that bullshit?!" He asked quickly, trying and failing to play off his embarrassment.

"America." Sealand admitted, and Molossia grumbled something about killing America. "Well, are you going to back me up or not?" Sealand asked impatiently.

"Who cares?" Molossia asked with a huff.

"Come on, you don't have your own personal view on Freedom?" Sealand asked, suddenly looking disappointed. "That's kind of lame."

"Of course I fucking do!" Molossia shouted angrily. "Everyone does."

"Ah-ha! So you agree with me!" Sealand said triumphantly.

Molossia's eye twitched in irritation, and then with a sigh he gave in to Sealand's childishness. "Sure, whatever. I personally think freedom would be traveling the world without restriction or judgment. There, happy?"

"Very much so!" Sealand said with a grin.

"Whatever, just leave me the hell alone." Molossia grumbled, going back to his game.

Sealand turned back to Wy with a smirk. "See, it's not so dumb after all. Come on, what's your view on Freedom? What would make you feel the freest?"

"Do I have to answer that?" Wy asked.

"Yep."

"Will you leave me alone if I do?"

"Sure, but you have to hear my answer too!"

"Fine." Wy said with a long sigh. "Let me thinkā€¦" She thought for a minute, a thoughtful frown on her face. "My personal freedom huh? I've never thought about it before, but if I had to choose, I would say it would be to be able to build and create whatever I want whenever I want."

"Like a driveway?" Sealand asked with a small smirk.

"Ha ha, very funny. You're a real comedian." Wy said sarcastically. "Hey, you know what I have the freedom of? Being recognized. Unlike you."

"As always, your words cut deep." Sealand said with a laugh. "Please stop trying to hurt my feelings or I'll cry."

"Sure. So, what's your personal freedom?" Wy asked.

Sealand puffed his chest out proudly. "My personal freedom would to be able to be powerful enough where everyone would recognize me, and be able to make everyone listen to me! Also to go anywhere in the world and make new friends who like me!"

"Good luck with that." Molossia said sarcastically.

"Thanks!" Sealand said happily, flashing the other micro nation a smile, not realizing that he was being sarcastic.

Just then, the door to the room opened, and America walked in with a curious look on his face. "Hey guys, what are you talking about?" He asked brightly.

"Oh, is the meeting done already?" Molossia asked.

"Sure isn't!" America said brightly. "I got bored, so I'm going to ditch."

"So irresponsible!" Wy said in shock.

"Hey, Mr. America!" Sealand said suddenly, running up to the older nation and giving him a big grin. "You know all about freedom, right?"

"Sure do little dude!" America said brightly, a large grin growing on his face. "Freedom is practically my middle name! Why do you ask?"

"I want to know what freedom mean to everyone!" Sealand said happily.

"Doesn't freedom mean to talk, act, and-" America asked in confusion, but Sealand cut him off.

"No! I mean people's personal definition on freedom." Sealand clarified. "And seeing as you're the nation that's the most obsessed with freedom, I really want to know your take!"

"Oh, that's easy!" America said with a chuckle. "Flying."

"Flying?" Sealand asked in confustion.

"Flying in the sky. The sky is my freedom." America said with a wink. "There's nothing quite like flying. The speed of take off, the feeling of your feet leaving the ground, the openness of the world around you, knowing that you can go anywhere you want, and the feeling of leaving all your problems behind on the ground. Nothing compares. I feel like I could do anything in the sky."

"Huh, I wasn't expecting you to say that." Sealand confessed. "I thought you were going to say something like not paying taxes or telling England to fuck off."

"Well, there's that too, but I like flying more." America confessed with a laugh. "So, does that answer your question?"

"Yep. Thank you!" Sealand said, and America ruffled his hair with a smile.

"Hey Molossia, you ready to go dude?"

"Yup. See you guys later."

A/N: So here's my very late 4th of July post. Oops. Ah well, what ya going to do? Freedom comes in all sort of different forms, whether that be soaring through the sky, traveling the world, having the freedom to say whatever you want without the fear of retaliation, being able to move up in the world through hard work, or simply being able to make whatever you want! I like to think that having to opportunity to do all those things if I wanted to in this country is by far the best thing about living here! My true freedom? To be able to write whatever I want for the rest of my life! :D Tell me what makes you feel the freest!
