The Black Swan

Disclaimer: Code Geass is owned by Sunrise. This is being written for free.

So this is a preview test very similar to what was done for this fic on the Black Knight, check it out if you haven't already, and I have no clue whether this will be actually published by itself. If someone wants to adopt this, I will seriously give it to you. It's not something that I was ever planning to write, the basic Fem/Lelouch kinda thing. Just not my thing.

Area Eleven. The former Tokyo, now renamed Baytown by its new Britannian owners. The Ashford Academy glamed with its light yellow walls in the bright eastern sun. Rivalz Candemonde walked over with is blue stripe on white bike helmet in hand. His expression was one of cheerful mischief.

Rivalz stopped near a group, directly behind a head with long black hair. Below the black hair the girl wore a soft yellow jacket almost the color of cream, and a black miniskirt followed by black leggings.

"Hey Lucy," Rivalz called cheerfully. "I had that game arranged if you're still interested." The black head turned around to reveal purple eyes in a heart shaped face.

"I'm eating," Lucilla Lamperouge protested, annoyed. "You couldn't arrange a game after school?" Rivalz's expression dropped at the prospect of losing potential income.

"Sorry," Rivalz started. "I didn't really think you'd mind since you need the money."

Lucilla frowned again. She glanced back towards her friends.

"You probably shouldn't go, you know," Sherman declared, eyeing her over the fork in his hand. Lucy sighed and looked back at Rivalz.

"Fine," Lucy sighed picking up her boxed lunch.

"Drive careful," Milly called after the pair cheerfully.

"Hey," Rivalz commented as the pair walked towards his motorcycle. "If you're not busy after school you could finally go on a date with me."

"Rivalz," Lucilla protested, almost whining at another date request.

"I'll wear you down someday," Rivalz commented hopefully, grinning.

"You would," Lucy confirmed. "if you weren't just asking me to get closer to Milly."

"I see, school children," the mustachio'd noble commented. "Did you bring this lovely little lady to distract me during our game? Or is she a payment when you lose?"

How disgusting, Lucilla commented, her nose wrinkling.

"No sir," Rivalz replied, smirking. "She's your opponent."

"Oh really? This game is looking interesting already," the noble rubbed his hands as he spoke. Lucilla noted with revulsion how his eyes kept focusing on her finely curved legs. "It's your move first, my pretty." Lucilla fought back a gag without showing it.

"Actually," she replied. "I prefer to play black." She carefully spun the board around so she had the black side of the board.

"Nine minutes and 46 seconds," Rivalz noted cheerfully. "If you keep this up we could bring an egg timer for your future games." He set a large manila envelope in his bag. "Now we just have our hot date to get to."

"Riiivaaaaalz," Lucilla whined, dropping her hands to her sides.

"Okay hang on!" Rivalz said, jumping ahead of Lucy, "one kiss and I won't ask you for a month!" Lucilla kept her exasperated frown. She sighed and eyed the sky.

"Do you promise?" She pointed a finger in Rivalz's face as she asked. He smiled and nodded emphatically. The raven-haired beauty sighed, dropping the hand again.

"Okay," Lucy breathed, blushing. "Wait!" Rivalz halted his swift advance. "Closed mouth no tongue I swear I will knee you."

"Okay I promise!" Rivalz conceded, starting to become just as exasperated. Rivalz pulled against Lucy, wrapping his arms around her waist. She responded with an arm around his neck and another around his own waist. Lucy exhaled softly against Rivalz's lips as she got closer. Finally their lips were about to touch.

'Lucilla,' breathed a male voice before they could kiss. Lucy's head turned to see from where she heard the voice. There was no one there. She looked around the parking lot, confusion filling her expression.

"What?" Rivalz asked, looking around equally as confused.

"Did you hear that?" Lucy asked, not looking back at Rivalz.

"Are you trying to get out of that kiss?" Rivalz accused, annoyed.

"Ugh," Lucy growled, backing away from Rivalz, still looking around.

"How did he escape?" Demanded Prince Clovis angrily. Bartley could only exhale nervously and continue his copious perspiration.

"It gets worse your highness," Jeremiah Gottwald added smugly. "Bartley was also working on your gift from second Prince Schneizel when he escaped and now the machine is missing." Clovis jaw dropped at this news.

"No, it's perfectly under control!" Bartley lied emphatically. He gave a resentful glance Gottwald's way.

"Then where is the prisoner now?" Clovis demanded. Bartley yelped in realization. Clovis gave a growl. "Send out all available units! That unit cannot fall into the wrong hands!"

"Your highness," Bartley added, "even if we recover the unit, the experiment-"

"If he is discovered by the wrong hands you will have a far worse audience than me for your raging incompetence," Clovis promised, turning away from Gottwald and Bartley.

"Where are you?" A male voice whispered to itself. "I sensed you nearby." a pair of sharp golden eyes gazed down on a display of a free way from above.

"I just don't get it," Rivalz complained as he drove along the freeway. "If you don't want to date me, who even interests you at Ashford?" Lucy frowned at the question, facing away from Rivalz in her sidecar.

'Where are you?' came the voice again. Lucilla spun around looking for where the voice could be coming from. She looked up and her jaw dropped, amethyst eyes going wide.

"Rivalz go faster!" She shouted at the young noble.

"What is it?"

"Just go faster!" Lucy screeched, alarmed.

Up there in the sky, a black and gold Knightmare Frame was flying on six long thin wings. Lucilla kept her eyes on the machine. There was no way it was flying, she corrected herself. Its movement was wrong. It wasn't going fast enough and its wings were too thin across. Something else must've been going on.

Two attack helicopters quickly flew up to chase it closely, firing their nose-mounted machine guns at the black Knightmare. The black robot quickly dodged and launched its golden fingers at the first helicopter. The slash harkens went wide around the helicopter, then turned and headed back to the second helicopter and quickly wrapped both attack craft. The wires pulled both machines together and crushed them.

The burning wreckage fell quickly onto the freeway behind Rivalz and Lucy's position, in several cross-sections where the wires had cut through the frames. Rivalz gave a shout. Lucilla looked forward to see the Black Knightmare slam down a landing in the middle of the freeway. A few cars swerved to avoid it, and one went right into Rivalz bearing. The bike swerved beneath Lucy and she felt gravity release its hold on her. She was quickly brought back down and rolled over the concrete. Lucy felt her helmeted head hit the pavement and then was aware that she hit something and stopped moving.

She weakly looked up to the sky to see the black and gold Knightmare reaching to pick her up. Then darkness consumed her as she felt herself rising.

Lucilla opened her eyes groggily, distantly aware that she wasn't on the freeway anymore. She was looking up into a worn ceiling made of wood, with a single fan over her head. She sat up and looked around, but the room was only dimly lit by a single window.

"Finally I've found you," came a husky male voice. Lucy gave a yelp and looked to where the voice had come. A young man with long green hair walked towards her swiftly.

"Stay away from me!" Lucy squealed, scared of what this man might do. He bent down and kissed her suddenly.

'If you would accept this contract, I would give you great power in exchange for my one wish. Accept and you will have the powers of countless kings and queens that have come before you. Your every wish will be fulfilled, and I will serve you until you complete my wish."

"Whatever," she told the voice in her head. "Just get off me! Now!"

Lucilla suddenly regained use of her body and raised her knee swiftly between the boy's legs. He gave a sharp grunt and fell over in writhing pain. She took the chance to junp from the couch and saw the door. She bolted for and opened it, exploding through the entry way. Running down the hallway she found a flight of stars and ran down.

Finally she escaped the building and saw the street. She was in one of the ghettos. She ignored an itch in her right eye and ran down the sidewalk.

"Help!" she shouted. "I've been kidnapped! Can someone help me?!"

"Stop screaming, I'll help," some one shouted. Lucilla turned to see a young guy with red hair that ended around his chin. She saw that he was driving a motorcycle and ran over.

"Can you give me a lift to the Tokyo settlement?" Lucilla asked, uncertain.

"Sure," the redhead sighed. "Climb on." Lucilla carefully mounted the back of the bike, grasping the back of his jacket.

By the time they reached Ashford Lucilla had managed to purge the events from her immediate memory and get her mood back under control. The redhead finally brought the bike to a slowed halt.

"Thanks," Lucilla breathed. "You're a doll."

"Not a problem," the redhead replied. "But are you usually this...flighty?"

"You're not catching me at my best," Lucilla explained, apologetically. "And I'm not flighty! I was kidnapped and almost broke my spine in a traffic accident." She blinked and looked over her shoulder. "Thanks again...uh..."

"I'm Kai. Kai Kozuki," he answered her unspoken question.

"Right," Lucilla said, nervous. Her left eye itched again and she looked over at her school, then back to Kai. She suddenly felt as though she were flipped over her head and darkness consumed her vision.

When she regained her vision she was staring down at herself. Lucy blinked at the sight of her own body laying on the sidewalk as if she had passed out. She looked down at her hand. The hand that wasn't hers. She noticed a lock of red hair in the corner of her eye and grabbed it. She wasn't going insane, but why was her hair red, and her hands the hands of seventeen-year old boy? She looked into the mirror of the motorcycle beneath her.

Kai's face started back at her with a shocked expression. She was inside Kai's body.

"Well then," Lucilla said with Kai's voice, suddenly very worried.
