Castiel's POV

"Dean, Sam, we need to talk," the angel said, approaching his two human friends that evening.

"What is it, Cas?" Dean asked.

"Well, now that we have rid you of the mark of Cain, Dean… I am leaving," Castiel confessed.

"What? Why?" the Winchester brothers sprang up in alarm.

"It is time I return to Heaven," the angel said. "Of course, I will return if you ever need me, but until then, I wish to be home."

"Why, Cas?" Sam asked.

"I have my reasons," the angel replied. "Reasons I am sure you would understand."

"What do you mean?"

Castiel frowned, looking down at the ground for a moment before turning his gaze back up to Dean's.

"Hannah," he said. "I… I love her, and she no longer wishes to be on Earth in a vessel. Therefore, to be with her, I must return to Heaven as well. If you ever need me, just pray. It may take longer for me to get here, though without my wings."

The Winchester brothers wanted to protest, but they both knew how it felt to be in love. Sam had felt it with Jessica and Amelia, Dean had felt it with Lisa... they knew how Castiel felt and they couldn't deny him that if it's what he really wanted.

"We understand, buddy," Dean said, giving the angel a hug. "Say hi to Bobby for us, will you?"

Castiel smiled. "I will."

"Take care, Cas," Sam said, giving the angel a hug as well.

"Good bye, Sam," Castiel said. "Don't forget to pray."

The two humans chuckled. "We won't," Dean said.

Castiel felt the familiar joy of being in Heaven fill him as he was engulfed in bright white light. He gazed around at the beautiful meadows of his home, watching the autistic man whose Heaven was his favorite play with a kite.

"Castiel?"

The angel turned around to see Hannah. She gazed at him with confused, but delighted eyes as she came closer.

"Hannah," he smiled at her.

A smile came to her face as well. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to be with you," he replied. "I want to stay with you, Hannah."

She stared at him with wide eyes. "Really?"

"Yes," Castiel nodded.

She embraced him, wrapping her arms tight around him. "I missed you."

"I missed you too," he replied.

She turned her face up toward his, pressing her lips into Castiel's. He kissed her back. No one else noticed the two angel sharing their passionate embrace, but the lights of Heaven seemed to grow brighter than before as two angels finally learned the true meaning of love.

AN: Well, do you like it? Keep in mind, I haven't seen all of season ten, but I am under the impression that Dean did get cured of the Mark and from what I've seen, Castiel and Hannah totally loved each other. I hope you guys liked it!
