Summary: When I'm with you, hours feel like seconds.

He never thought he'd be here.

In this place, this time, and with this person.

Sometimes Sadaharu has to pinch himself discreetly whenever Ren decides to send him a text message during lunch time or when he waited outside of homeroom to invite him (and occasionally Yanagi) to eat lunch on the roof where there's some privacy from the Sasaki fanclub. Truthfully, it still felt a bit surreal being the school idol's boyfriend, but little by little, he's getting used to this relationship.

Although a lot of times, he still needed some coaxing to step out of his comfort zone.

Pushing his glasses up further on his nose, he glanced at Ren, "I don't know about this…"

Hands pressed together in a dramatic gesture of supplication, Ren widened his eyes. "I've never been here and the reviews are really great about this place."

Brows furrowing, pushing the glasses up again, 'I need to get them adjusted,' Inui thought absently. "Never?" Skepticism is audible in his tone. "Really? This seems to be the type of hangout you'd enjoy frequenting with friends."

As Ren's face blanked of emotion, he could have kicked himself.

'Stupid. I'm...such a screw up.'

He'd known that Ren didn't really involve himself with others at school and that he kept people at a distance, yet he still made such a careless remark. True, he and Ren hadn't been together long, just about a month really, though there were little things that slipped out of his partner when the older teen relaxed and confided in him.

The reason for Ren's transfer to the school so late in the year from England hadn't been discussed between them yet and he didn't expect his boyfriend to tell him, not so soon…

'But clearly, whatever had happened at his old school must've been painful, since he doesn't talk about it, ever.' Without consciously deciding to do so, the data collector reached out and clasped hands with Ren, "...You're right. It could be fun. Let's go inside."

'Sorry. I'm sorry. So please don't be mad…'

The words are unspoken but Ren's blank expression turned into a faint smile, almost as if he were telepathic, or more logically, he just got Inui in a way that others didn't. He squeezed Inui's hand in return. "I'm challenging you to Atari! It's a shooting game and…"

Hand in hand, they walked into Wonderhall Gaming Center.

And that's a wrap! I intended this chapter to be a really cute thing but I'm an angst connoisseur. I think it's good to continue to show the little things about this relationship as they find their rhythm, especially because next chapter is graduation for Ren. Anyways, if y'all liked this and want me to continue, please review~
