Chapter 11.

First off really sorry for not posting, I haven't abandoned the story. I will finish it off but I don't know how often I will be able to update. I know this chapter is probably terrible and does not even add to the plot but I just wanted to post something. Sorry for the mistakes and if it doesn't flow or read well.

Tanya's P.O.V

The evening is chilly that much I can tell, every time I exhale my breadth nearly forms ice crystals in front of face. I presume Kate is in the same boat but she always seems to handle the snow better than me, she's really an over excited teenager when it comes to snow that's why she loves living in Alaska so much.

How anyone could survive in this weather and conditions is beyond my imagination, these thoughts inevitably brings her thoughts to Bella Swan. A thousand years roaming the earth and I'm thinking about a painfully annoying human child who manages to successfully rub me up the wrong way. But the pain in the butt human is also my human, my everything.

The city is dark and quiet as we leave the hotel, fresh snow has fallen, probably in the last half an hour. Most of the white layer on the path hasn't been touched by the feet by passer-by's. It's still intact and crisp.

The area smells fresh but as soon as I inhale I get the unmistaken smell of my mate. Kate chuckles beside me.

"Damn someone smells nice enough to eat".

I growl lowly at her, even though it's against my better judgement knowing nearly everything she says or does is to rile me up in some way.

We walk through the city following Bella's scent setting a brisk pace I set off to find her as soon as possible to make sure she hasn't frozen yet. There is a comfortable silence between the two of us. We pass a few humans while on our excursion, many of them stumbling out of bars at this time of night.

Messy humans are not fun to deal with I think, it's bad enough having to put up with them when they are sober whilst they slobber and fawn over us, but drunk that's a whole other ball game entirely. They lose their morals (the little they had in the first place) and their temper is a lot worse when they get turned down mainly due to their now bruised egos.

I roll my eyes as I spot a young man no more than twenty seven making his way towards us. He's just after coming out of a local bar. Kate must notice him too as we slow down to a near stop.

"This should be Fun" Kate whispers too low for our uninvited guest to catch.

I just hum in agreement.
