Notes: Kaz, Peyton and Sarah will not be in this story, just Tom, my OCs and some of the other characters who didn't get shown that much on the cartoon. Updates will be slow, since I wrote this on a whim and don't have an ending planed, yet.

First chapter: Hanging Out With No One.

In Chaotic, Tom Majors was sitting alone at a table. His best friend, Kaz had his scanner taken away (again) by his mother and she wasn't going to give it back until the end of the week. His other good friends, Peyton and Sarah were on a scan quest, leaving Tom in Chaotic, because he had three drome matches this week and there was no telling when Peyton and Sarah would be back.

"Maybe I should just go home. My match is three hours away and Chaotic isn't that much fun without anyone to hangout with." he said to himself, bored out of his mind at this point.

"Hey, Tom!" Jycella said as she walked over to Tom's table. Tom's mood was brightened up at now having someone to talk to.

"Oh, hi Jycella. Come take as set." Tom said, putting his hand on the set next to him.

"I would if I could, but right now I'm on my way to the Crellan drome for a match." she said.

"Okay then, I guess I'll just go home. There's no one to hangout with anyways." Tom sadly said as he stood up from his set and looked away from Jycella.

"What do you mean there is no one to talk to?" she asked. "Look around, there's like a hundred other players just standing around talking." Tom looked back at the blonde, a bit confused by what she meant.

"Well, there's people here, but none of them are my friends." Tom said, looking at the nearby players. "I don't even know their real names, just their code names."

"So what? Many players are called by their code names." she said. " Just go talk to someone and make a new friend. That's how I meet you guys remember."

"That's true, but I still don't think I could." Tom sounded unsure. It was just that he was so used to hangingout with his three friends in Chaotic and every time he did make a new friend one of his other friends were usually with him.

"Major Tom, if I didn't know any better, I would say that you were shy." Jycella teased.

"I'm not shy!" Tom angrily said, folding his arms across his chest.

Jcyella rolled her eyes. "All right, well I got to leave now or I'll be late for my match. See you later, Tom" She then left, leaving Tom by himself.

As Tom watched her leave, he couldn't help but to think about what she said. Tom Majors isn't shy, never has been and probably will never be shy. Meeting new people was just her giving him a suggestion; it wasn't like she challenged him or anything like that. But she called ,him of all people, shy!

His pride would not let him shrug it off and just go home. No, he was going to meet as many new people as he could until his best friends get back to Chaotic.

Looking around, he saw this one guy about his age, setting as a table alone, reading what looked like a very large book.

Here goes nothing, he thought. With a friendly smile on his face, Tom began to walk towards the guy.
