Almost 3 years ago, I made a promise to someone to write a fic between Tambry and Dipper. And I would feel like an ass for not fulfilling that, so here I am! Time to get the fingers working and the words flowing, so here I am! Flames will be used to cook cookies, and reviews will be used for constructive criticism, let us go! A bit short as I get back on rhythm!

Chapter 2: Hanging out.

In retrospective for Dipper, the idea of hanging out with Tambry was a good one, but it was also a bad one because for starters he wasn't sure what they could go around doing on Gravity Falls, sure there were lots of things to do. But he wasn't even sure what are teenagers supposed to enjoy.

"What mess I got myself into…" Dipper sighed as he was on the couch thinking, suddenly interrupted as he felt his cap being pushed to the front of his head when he got his cap into place he saw the offender giggling.

"Mabel?" Mabel giggled at her brother before sitting next to him in the couch. She smiled before just pointing to the door.

"Stop being a chicken bro, worse comes to worse Tambry will surely have an idea on what to do" Dipper was about to ask how she knew what he was thinking before she simply poked his cheek.

"Come on bro, you are as open as those diaries, chill" Mabel giggled before giving a hug to him in reassurance before going to her own devices. She needed to knit a new sweater after all. And hopefully, she had taken the measures properly.

Dipper smiled after Mabel left. She was right, there was no need to worry, he could surely chill as she said.

The knocking of a door took his thoughts away as he went to open and saw the visage of Tambry on her phone, once she took notice of the open door she smiled at Dipper.

"Hey, ready to go out?" Tambry smile had the weird effect of being contagious for Dipper as he found himself smiling. He only nodded as Tambry motioned for him to follow.

"Let us go then, I got something planned" Tambry smiled as Dipper followed nodding.

Mabel was remaking the sweater. It seems she had taken bad the measure of Tambry, it seems her arm was slightly longer, she should have worked with more recent measures it seemed.

Meanwhile Tambry and Dipper found themselves on the bus for the center of the town. Dipper felt a bit nervous at having Tambry so close in the seat of the bus, she seemed unfazed, if anything Dipper thought she seemed relaxed. As if she was having a wonderful day just by sitting there with him. She looked at him through her hair and looked a bit worried.

"You okay? You look a bit red?" Tambry was hoping Dipper didn't felt forced at hanging out with her, truth be told, she could have gone out with anyone from her group… but they would have asked about the deal with Robbie and she didn't feel like dealing with that. So, the idea of hanging with Dipper sounded great.

Plus, she would be lying if she didn't feel curious of knowing better the youngest of her group of friends.

Dipper nodded at her before getting his thoughts back in place.

"Yeah, yeah all is okay don't worry" Dipper was a bit nervous, but Tambry seemed to accept his answer as she smiled.

"Good to know, well I hope you feel ready, our stop is close"

As Dipper noticed the surrounding area of the town through the windows of the bus, he was totally sure after walking a bit. He knew the place perfectly after all.

"Hope you feel like giving it a try for some laser fun" Tambry smiled at him as she opened the door for him. Dipper felt that he should have been the one to open the door to her, but hey, in the end, he wasn't going to deny it was fun to be in Big Gunz Laser Tag.

Well, fun was sure to come soon.

Cut! Well, enough for now, I promise a longer chapter soon, this was just to show this is alive, and I am back on it! See ya on chapter or the real chapter 2 as you choose to see it.
