Chapter 158: Epilogue: Final Part

Gao and Drum were finally released from the hospital after a few more days and returned to their home. They looked around and despite the elections, nothing felt like it changed.

"It doesn't feel like anything is different," the red dragon grumbled as he crossed his arms.

"It won't change that fast. That's what mom told me anyway," Gao replied.

They continued as they looked around. The city felt a little peaceful. Now that the elections were over, there was a certain calm taking place for now. The tensions seemed to calm down with Tenchi in jail.

"We still haven't found who made the thing that controlled Tsukikage," the boy remembered.

"I know. Whoever that bastard is, we will find him someday," his buddy replied.

"Yes and-" he said nothing else when he heard a melody. The boy immediately recognised it and asked, "Do you think its…"

"I believe it is," Drum lightly grumbled.

They accelerated their pace and saw a darkness dragon playing with his instrument in the middle of the city. They recognised Troubadour, the Purgatory Knight.

The dragon was playing his music and noticed the duo. He smiled at them and nodded, continuing his melody until the end. Once he finished, the few peoples around him applauded the dragon.

"Thank you. I'm always happy when my music touched your heart like this. As for now, I'll take a short break," he turned into his SD form, "I have a few friends who wants to speak with me. I'll be back soon."

He joined Gao and Drum with a smile. He waved at them and they did the same.

"Why are you still here?" the red dragon asked.

"Right to business," the lyrical dragon chuckled as he bowed to them, "I am here to play my music until the hearts of everyone is content."

"Wouldn't Demios be angry with you?" Gao asked his friend.

The dragon chuckled, "Of course he will, but he won't do anything."

"Why?" Drum suspiciously asked as he lightly twitched his head.

"That is for you to figure it out," he replied before grabbing his instrument, "Personally, I am here so everyone can enjoy the melody I can play and to find a buddy. I want my buddy to be as passionate in music as I am," he said with passion. He grunted and concluded, "That's why I'm still here."

Drum thought, why do I have the feeling it has something to do with Azi Dahaka? "How's it going in Darkness Dragon World?"

Troubadour lightly laughed, "I see what you are trying here Drum but don't worry, there is no plot coming from our world. I promise you that on the honor of the Purgatory Knight," he hit his chest.

"I can trust that," the red dragon was satisfied.

"Thank you for everything Troubadour," Gao said.

"Don't thank me. It was you and your buddy who defeat my ruler. Whatever will come to this world, I'm sure you will protect it. Anyway, I think my break is over and… Guess your fan is here Drum," he walked away.

"My… fan?" the dragon in question was confused.

"Drumkin!" Axia suddenly appeared and hugged the red dragon, squeezing his blue cheek against the orange and red one.

"NOOOOOOOOOO!" the victim let out an overexaggerated cry.

Tenbu went to the prison when he heard, "NOOOOOOOOOO!" He chuckled and commented, "Drum. You can be so silly sometimes," he frowned as he went in prison to speak with one particular prisoner.

It wasn't long before he was in the room and waited for the other one to come. Azi Dahaka came and was taken aback by the visit of the green dragon. They said, "Tenbu. What a surprise. I really wasn't expecting you to pay me a visit."

"I came here for an important reason Azi Dahaka," the old dragon replied.

"Now that you are here," they tapped their jaws, "I have questions for you Tenbu."

"Ask it. I have little to hide from you now," the green dragon replied as he played with his pink mustaches. It taken the other dragon by surprise when Tenbu suddenly spoke in dragon tongue, clearly not wanting the humans to understand what they would talk about.

"Now?" they asked in the draconic language. The dragon thought about it and wondered what was in the mind of the green dragon, "Good. Tell me, why did you put your life on the line so Gao and Drum wouldn't be killed by me?"

"It is from something I've overseen. To bring out the best outcome, both needs to survive you. Although, from what I learned in this fight, I can rest assure. They both awakened their true potential," Tenbu proudly said.

"Best outcome of what?" Azi Dahaka asked as they waved their hands for a quick answer.

"For what will come next. You don't remember it, since you forgot about the journal I wrote."

"W-" they blinked, "You knew I stole it!"

"Of course. I let you have it on purpose."

"You are such a sneaky old dragon," they chuckled, "Why do I have it?"

"All will come in due time," the dragon calmly replied as he added, "What will come next will be the Great Fiend, who will return to claim revenge on the Omnilords. And I'm sure I'll be his first target," Tenbu said.

"Yamigedo?" the darkness dragon asked.

"You remember that bit. Yes. Once he is back, you will have to do something for me, after my successor inherit my title," the green dragon said.

"Successor… Wait? You mean that-"

"Yes. I let you purposely steal my journal for that moment. You will help my successor and his buddy to find my journal, so they will know what I want them to do next," the green dragon explained.

"As an Omnilord, you foresee the future…"

"A possible future. Only possibility. I want to make one possibility true above the others. That's why I want you to do me this important favor," Tenbu gazed in the eyes of the other dragon.

"I know what Yamigedo wants to do and can do. I know he has been sealed on an unknown world and-"

"It's this world."

"Then my planned would have failed in the end anyway," Azi Dahaka realised. They then chuckled, "Damn me. A big plan that could ended up in failure."

"Azi Dahaka. Will you do this favor? I really need you to do this," the dragon plead.

The darkness dragon sighed, "Why would I do it?"

"Kyoya could die and if they cannot stop him, Darkness Dragon World will be one of his targets. Yamigedo can eat an entire world for himself," Tenbu explained.

They frowned, "Fine. I was going to accept anyway. I will pass the message on Drum and Gao when the time comes."

"Thank you."

"Does… this outcome gives me something good thought?"

"Yes. Kyoya too, since you are a little too scare to ask."

"I am not scare! That's good for me," they continued to talk and bring more details of their course of actions for the moment the Great Fiend would come. Tenbu also revealed many secrets and knowledge about Yamigedo. He also added why the Great Fiend was sealed instead of killed. That made the other dragon quiet.

Once it was over, the two dragons part ways and left the three-headed dragon in deep thought. Extremely deep thought.

Many months later, a boy walked through the street of Tokyo. He had his hands in his pockets as he waited to traverse the street. The boy ignored the humans and the monsters from other worlds waiting near him. The boy had a deckcase currently attached on his belt.

He saw something at the other side of the street and frowned. There was a boy walking away with a red dragon by his side and another one on his other side. The gaze of the boy was locked on the green dragon with pink mustaches, "He's here."

Yes. So Tenbu is here. Ikazuchi. We wait for now.

"Why?"

Look around.

There were too many witnesses right now, but also buddy monsters who could stand in their way. Not only that, but the monsters didn't have their guards dropped like the humans, "Right."

A shadowy formed, with a something looking like a head, resting on the shoulder of the boy, My friend. We just need the perfect moment to come. Then, we will have our revenge against those who wronged us. I promise.

"And I'll always be by your side Yamigedo," Ikazuchi replied as they let their target go, for now.
