Just a little tribute for Azulablue92 and her/his awesome story 'separated but close'. I was listening to 'see you again' (by Wiz Khalifa) while reading the story and I thought it fit so well, I just couldn't not write this! If you don't like it, that's perfectly fine. It's not meant to be a public thing. Just a little tribute for Azulablue92! Hope you like it! (Takes place between chapter 9 and 10 of 'Separated but close'.)

Kallus's POV

I was standing in the security office. The troopers had managed to patch all the cameras from the prisoner cells into this one feed. On five screens, sat the jedi, the pilot, the mando, the street rat and the lasat. They were all sitting in their corners, almost ready to break. I smiled. We were so close now! My attention turned to the commander who said "Sir, we have something coming in on cam 1." I looked at camera 1, the one with the jedi. "Put it through then," I said, crossing my arms. The commander pressed some buttons on the controls and the speaker played the jedi… singing? "Turn it up," I said.

"It's been a long day, without you my friend. And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again," he sung smoothly.

He stopped but cam 5 quickly tuned in. The padawan continued his master's song "We've come a long way, from where we began. Oh, I'll tell you all about it when I see you again."

"When I see you again," they said at the same time.

The other three cameras showed the Twi'lek, Lasat and Mandalorian humming to the tune. The padawan soon join in.

The large lasat began to… rap? "Who knew? All the planes we flew. Good things we've been through. I'll be standing right here talking to you. About another path. I know we love to hit the road and laugh. But something told me that it wouldn't last. Had to switch things up. Look at things different, see the bigger picture. Those were the days, hard work forever pays. Now I see you in a better place."

My eyes widened as they all began to sing. "How could we not talk about family when family's all we got? Everything I went through you were standing there by my side. And now you gonna be with me for the last ride."

Everyone went silent as the jedi sung again. "It's been a long day, without you my friend. And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again. We've come a long way, from where we began. Oh, I'll tell you all about it when I see you again…"

"When I see you again…" they all sung together.

I was amazed. Did they just… sing together when they've all been split up into different prisons on different planets? Then they did something I wasn't expecting. They all looked up into the camera in their cell and… smiled? Hope was glimmering in their eyes. One of the commanders turned to me and said "So… um… that was… interesting?" I nodded and turned to walk out of the room. This crew was unlike anything I had experienced before…
