Beca just sat on the edge of her car after Aubrey told her what happened. She had tears in her eyes that she wouldn't let fall in front of the blonde. Aubrey just stared at her waiting for her to say something. Beca had too many emotions going through her right now. She didn't know what to think or believe. She knew Aubrey wanted some kind of reaction from her, but she couldn't do that. "I have to go." Beca said then hopped off her car, going to the driver's side.

"I told you what happened, so what are you going to do about it?"

"I can't do this right now."

"Chloe loves you God damn it!" Aubrey yelled and followed after Beca. "You need to fix this!" She tried to open the door but Beca locked it as soon as she got in then started the car, looking at a pissed off Aubrey through the window. "FIX IT!" Aubrey said again, this time pointing at Beca through the window.

Beca drove off and as soon as she was out of eyesight from the angry blonde she let the tears fall. Fucking Clint Jackson! Aubrey had mentioned that was the guy who forced himself upon Chloe. She just continued to drive. The more she drove the angrier she felt herself become. She felt like the biggest fucking douchebag in the world. Chloe had tried to tell her, tried to get her to answer her texts and calls but Beca was too heartbroken at the time to even consider anything else. She knew Aubrey wouldn't lie about this, that wasn't in her character, even if it was for Chloe. She stopped her car and didn't even realize where she was until she looked up at the frat house where it all happened. She wasn't sure how she ended up here but she felt a fresh wave of anger hit her when she saw that asshole laughing outside with one of his buddies. She would never forget his face even if she only saw half of it before. Before she knew what was happening she was out of the car marching towards him.

"Hey fuckhead." Just as he was turning Beca's fist collided with his nose.

"What the fuck!" He grabbed his nose and looked at the small brunette whom was now clutching her fist. "Stupid bitch!" She wasn't expecting the backhand that came across her face.

"Dude!" His buddy pushed him back, separated him from Beca. Shit, really didn't think this through. Fuck that hurts.

"Stay away from Chloe!"

"Who the fuck is Chloe?!"

"He didn't even know who she was?" Stacey asked and Beca shook her head. "See I told you she wouldn't have cheated on you. You should have talked to her." Stacey said as she held an icepack to Beca's swollen eye causing her to hiss.

"We both know I would have screwed it up sooner or later anyway." Beca said, taking the icepack and laying back on Stacey's bed. "I thought I was protecting myself. I knew if I talked to her then I would forgive her, then I would be open to heartbreak all over again. It's over now anyway, she's better off without me." She stated sadly and was hit in the head with a pillow.

"You're an idiot!" Stacey answered. "How many ways does she have to show you that she wants you back!"

"I just don't know if I should be in a relationship with her again."

"Why?" The taller brunette asked, lying down next to Beca.

"She has this power to break me Stace. I don't know if I can give that up, I thought she broke my heart Stacey."

"I know Becs, but I've never seen you happier than you were with her." Stacey felt for her best friend, she knew it was difficult for Beca to open up to anyone after losing her mom. "And you'll never live fully if you don't let anyone in." She looked at Beca and could see her friend thinking way too much. "You obviously still love her, just think about it."

Beca walked into the classroom the next day before first period started and tried to walk past Chloe but the redhead spotted the black eye and stopped her. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. What happened!?" She grabbed her by the arm pulling her back in front of her.

"It's nothing." Beca tried to shrug it off but Chloe wouldn't have it. She pulled Beca more into the classroom where they couldn't be seen from people passing by.

"Who did this to you?" She asked, bringing her hand to Beca's face and slightly ran her thumb over to the bruise.

"It's really not important Chlo." She stated as she tried to ignore how good it felt as Chloe's other hand made it to her face, cupping both of the brunette's cheek between her hands.

"It is to me." The redhead whispered, not wanting to break whatever this spell was that had them in this bubble. She called me Chlo. She hasn't done that since… "I swear I'll kill whoever did this to you." Beca tried to ignore everything that was Chloe like she had been for the past five months but since she knew that the redhead hadn't cheated on her she just didn't have it in her to do that. She closed her eyes, leaning into the touch. If Chloe hadn't been so worried she would have relished the fact that Beca seemed to enjoying being this close to her.

"I…Chloe, I know." She whispered.

"Know what?"

"What really happened." She admitted, shocking Chloe. The redhead's eyes widened, she felt like crying. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. "I know you didn't cheat on me."

"I…I didn't, I swear. But how did you find out?"

"Aubrey." Beca admitted. "Aubrey told me."

"I didn't tell her to talk to you."

"I know. After she told me, I couldn't think. I just got in my car and I ended up at the Frat house. I didn't even realize I was there." The brunette stated then took a step away from Chloe after seeing someone close to the door. "I didn't know he lived there. Then I saw him then I saw nothing but red and before I knew it I punched him. But as it turns out I'm a tiny wuss and he hit me back." She chuckled but Chloe looked like she was getting ready to murder someone.

"Beca-"

"I know, but I needed to see it for myself." The brunette interrupted.

"What do you mean?"

"I told him to stay away from you and he didn't even who I was talking about." Beca stated, tears forming in her eyes. "I'm so so so sorry Chlo." The bell rang and Chloe sighed. She really wanted to just leave and talk to Beca but knew that wasn't possible.

"You…" She started but huffed. There were so much they needed to talk about. "Can we talk about this later…please." She added when she saw Beca hesitate. Students were going to start coming in but Chloe really needed Beca to talk to her.

"Ok, we can talk."
