"Why are you even doing this?" Frieza snapped as he dodged around Towa's scepter strikes.

The demon princess snarled as she whipped out the weapon in rapidly. "Isn't it obvious? I want you dead!"

After another dodged strike of her scepter, Towa quickly moved away from the Frost Demon before spinning the weapon around to create an invisible wave of energy to blow Frieza backward. The energy blew the former tyrant back in a tumble before he managed to straight up in just enough time to catch a beach-ball sized orb of red energy right between his hands.

Frieza offered a momentary sigh at his good fortune, only to look around the bomb as three columns of energy suddenly swarmed him. The guardian had just a moment to be alarmed before they all convened on him with a sequence of massive explosions.

As the light of Towa's attack filled the air, Mira and Cell were meeting blow for blow in a series of rapid strikes across the ocean. Each power-fueled crash sent the water below them rushing away in grand splashes. After the chaotic run across the sea, the two super-beings met with one final clash, each slamming their fist into the others face.

While both of them rocked back in a daze, hardly a second passed before their auras sparked to life, igniting in a flash of energy that blew them apart. Now floating across from the other, they both took a moment to look the other over, admiring the slight damage they'd been able to do and even more so the damage that they had yet to do.

"Not bad, demon. Not bad," Cell mused.

"My queen said to have fun, and I will do just that," Mira replied before suddenly opening his mouth wide and releasing a massive wave of orange energy.

Cell had a brief moment of alarm before he turned serious and met the energy with a firm backhand. Although he sent the demon's energy away with ease, Cell wasn't prepared for Mira to come flying in just over the remaining arc of energy. With little defense, he was left wide open as the demon sent him careening across the sky with a dropkick to the chest.

Elsewhere, it was Frieza's turn to put the demon princess on the defense. While the Frost Demon sent out fists in abundance, Towa dodged or blocked the blows with her scepter.

"You're a fool if you believe that Demigra won't toss you aside the moment that he gets everything that he wants!" Frieza demanded before punctuating his statement with an especially powerful punch right to Towa's scepter that forced the princess away.

Towa flew back a few meters before stopping herself. "Stop acting like you care!" she yelled and offered up a glowing hand. "You killed my brother and ruined everything! So, I will do what I must!" On cue, the princess suddenly released a storm of energy blasts.

Frieza met the first dozen by batting them away, but quickly took off further into the air to evade the chaotic attack – darting around the sky as the balls of energy chased him down. Around him, the sky was set ablaze once again as the mini-explosions danced about. In the maelstrom, Frieza zipped in and out of sight until finally coming into view when Towa appeared out of nowhere, riding her scepter like a witch on a broom, and smashing into Frieza's side to carry them down to the ocean below.

The princess offered a malicious laugh as she watched Frieza writhe against the attack, but he was helpless as she speared them into the sea and sent them hurtling into the ocean floor.

Back in the sky, Cell was rushing backward in a daze. Before the perfect android could go too far, Mira appeared and began to hammer into the guardian like a punching bag. The demon landed near a dozen brutal strikes before topping it off with a punishing double axe handle that sent Cell crashing violently into an island below. Mira immediately gave chase and aimed to plant Cell further into the earth of the floating rock, but the bio-android warped out of sight just as the demon struck.

Mira began looking around in confusion, but wasn't given long before Cell reappeared with a kick to the monster's jaw that threatened to take his head off. While the demon was dazed, he quickly fired back with punch to Cell's skull. Cell responded with an elbow to Mira's chest. And Mira answered with a knee to Cell's chin. The two then met fist to fist with a resounding boom, but neither backed away as they tried to press through the others defense, leaving arcs of lightning to spark from their fists.

The two were finally broken apart when both of their eyes were drawn to the ground where little beams of purple light were breaking through the surface. Mira and Cell darted out of the way just in time as Towa broke through the ground with Frieza – wrapped in a ball of energy – launching her upward. The princess had just a moment longer to be pressed back by Frieza before her aura roared to life and she forced the former tyrant away.

Frieza was forced all the way back down to Cell's side, and when the two guardians aimed to charge once more, Towa did another quick spin of her scepter and launched another wave of invisible energy to smack into the two and send them flying across the island. Long before the heroes could crash, though, their auras flared and they rushed skyward to meet Towa and Mira once more, both of the demons wrapped in their own dark auras.

"This might take a little longer than I thought," Frieza admitted with a hint of annoyance in his voice.

"Let me go! Let me go!" a woman screamed, flailing wildly as two winged demons carried her through the sky.

Both monsters sporting Cheshire cat smiles gave each other a knowing look before one shrugged.

On cue, the demons released the woman and left her to fall several hundred feet back down into the chaotic city. The poor citizen offered a heart-wrenching scream as she fell, but closed her eyes just before she could strike the ground. Thankfully, a blur zipped by and whisked the woman to safety.

By the time she reopened her eyes, she was being placed on a rooftop. Tears of joy beginning to fall from her eyes, the woman turned around to thank her savior, only to give pause as Old Kai stood waiting for a kiss on the cheek. She offered the old deity a strained smile before awkwardly shaking his hand and then turning to run away.

"Oh c'mon!" old kai groaned.

"Can you be serious?" Jiran shouted down from above.

Old Kai looked skyward just as the Supreme Kai of Time was disintegrating the two flying demons. She gave him a chastising glare before firing off two beams into the distance. Old Kai just pouted as he levitated back into the air.

As the older kai joined her, Jiran spoke into a communicator on her wrist. "Patrollers, maintain the perimeter and watch the skies! We can't let the demons swarm the whole planet!"

"Yes, ma'am!" they collectively replied.

Jiran turned to her comrade and gave him a playful nudge to help wipe away his pout. Together, the two rushed off elsewhere to mitigate the demon damage.

While the supreme kais flew off, Whis was casually strolling down a city sidewalk. He was completely unfazed by the mass hysteria around him – stepping over sprawling damage and avoiding rampaging demons like they weren't even there. His eyes were far too focused on the buildings around him and once he finally spotted the business that he was looking for, a bright smile appeared on his face.

Calmly the deity stepped into a bakery, the small bell atop the door announcing his entrance. But the patrons and workers were far too busy fighting with the little monsters to notice the new customer.

"This just won't do," Whis pouted before lifting a hand and snapping his fingers. Instantly, every demon in the store was frozen in place, much to the alarm of the monsters and confusion of the humans.

With a pleased smirk, Whis stepped away from the door and said, "Get out."

On cue, the door swung open and all of the demons were yanked out by an invisible force. Some tried to grab on to tables and chairs, and others tried holding on to the humans, but they couldn't prevent themselves from being spit out of the store.

In the wake of the demons' exit, Whis casually strolled up to the counter to address the petrified, broom-wielding worker. "I've been told that you make the best pastries in the city, and I would like to judge that for myself."

Goku hacked up a lump of blood as Beerus's leg struck his side and launched him out of the air like a rocket. The hero couldn't muster an ounce of power to fight against his freefall, leaving him to spear into the earth below. Violently, Goku pressed through the soil until he finally crashed into a large cave deep under the planet's surface.

He slammed harshly against a pillar of rocks that quickly gave way. The crumbling rocks left the hero to limply roll across the damp floor of the dark cavern until he came to rest in a small puddle. And there, the Saiyan laid, listening to the sounds of his breathing fill the silent cavern.

Gingerly, Goku pushed himself up and winced at the pain in his side. "His strength is ridiculous," Goku gasped and attempted to stand. But he stumbled back over and barely caught himself from falling face first into the puddle.

As Goku took a moment to console himself, the disturbed water beneath him settled and allowed the hero the first view of his new form. "Wow," he spoke as the fiery, godly aura lifted off of his skin and clothes, slightly illuminating the area around him. He gave his reflection a long look before his faced fixed with one of determination.

Confidently, Goku forced himself back up, ignoring the pain in his torso. And right as he did so, Lord Beerus dropped down into the cave from the hole above, his arms folded condescendingly as he studied the Saiyan.

"Don't tell me you've given up," Beerus crooned with a devilish smile on his face.

"In your dreams," Goku replied before claiming a fighting stance.

"Perfect," the god spoke.

Beerus unfolded his arms, and instantly, two clones split off from around him. The copies rushed out into the darkness of the cave while the original god charged Goku head on. Easily, the hero blocked the boot launched at his skull, but before he could return a strike, a clone launched out of the darkness.

Goku narrowly avoided the clone, leaping back across the cave and finding refuge on a lone pillar. He looked across at the two gods and watched as they smiled mischievously before darting into the shadows. Alarmed, Goku whipped his head around, catching glimpses here and there of movement. His head finally turned to the pillar behind him and he leaped away as it was suddenly destroyed by a wave of purple energy.

Goku moved back across the cave, focusing on the one Beerus, but was left open as a second appeared behind him.

The hero took a punishing kick to his side before a third Beerus rushed in out of nowhere with a knee to his chin. Left in a daze, Goku was wide open to a barrage of punches knocking him back and forth between the two gods. The third Beerus dashed into the fray with a ball of energy grasped in his hand, aiming to smash it right down onto the hero.

However, Goku recovered just in time to block one punch from a clone and spin around to launch it into the other clone, placing the two gods right in the path of the third dropping down with the energy. All three gods shared looks of shock before the bomb struck with a deafening bang. As the smoke filtered from the explosion, one single Beerus was left standing in the blast zone.

He coughed up a puff of smoke and then began looking around the chasm of darkness. "You won't get the jump on me," Beerus muttered confidently as his eyes zeroed in on a shadowy figure. The god lifted a hand, a ball of energy forming in the palm of his hand, but he paused as he watched the figure move his hands upward.

"Solar Flare!" Goku called out as a blinding light filled the cave.

Beerus cursed in anger as his eyes went to cover his face from the burning white light, but the damage had already been done. As the light filtered away, the god was left stumbling around and swinging out an arm to attempt to protect him. But he needed far more than that as Goku suddenly darted out of the darkness like a speeding bullet.

The Saiyan rushed past Beerus, knocking the god backward. With a sneer, Beerus turned to follow Goku, but the hero was already rushing in from another direction, smashing Beerus forward. The god turned once again, but Goku was coming from yet another direction. Again and again, Goku zipped around the cave and darted through the clearing, smashing Beerus around like a play thing until the god could hardly stand still for being knocked about.

Goku brought his wild attack to an end when he appeared right in front of the still blinded Beerus with a Kamehameha cupped at his side. "Take this!" Goku roared and moved to fire the blast, but he was frozen in place when Beerus finally opened his eyes.

Goku's energy died out in his hands as Beerus's aura suddenly exploded around him. In an instant, the cave was turned into a blast zone as dozens upon dozens of balls of energy poured out from the god. Goku sped around the chaos, expertly dodging the explosions, but he was left wide open for Beerus, who caught him off guard with a boot that pressed him back out of the cave and back to the surface.

As the two tore through the ground, Goku managed to get a firm grasp of Beerus's leg and spin through the air to launch the god back to the ground with an explosive force. Goku didn't waste a second, turning to form the huge, pulsing orb of energy at his side.

"Kamehameha!" the hero cheered as he fired off the massive attack.

The energy blew through the haze surrounding the newly formed crater and Beerus hardly had a second to press his hands forward to catch the energy wave. Though the energy managed to press the god further into the ground, Beerus was in full control of the energy. He even smiled as he looked through the burning bright light to its wielder.

Goku, though, sneered as he forced his aura to flare around him and he forced more energy into the attack.

But, the energy didn't even make Beerus budge. With a light chuckle, Beerus formed his own purple energy against the Kamehameha and slowly, yet easily he pressed the white energy back. Goku looked on in absolute shock as his most powerful attack was casually sent back at him. And before he knew what to do, Beerus flare his own aura and he suddenly canceled out Goku's attack, sending his own massive wave up to strike the hero.

Goku slammed his hands into the mighty wave, but had no chance in fighting back. He was sent hurtling higher into the sky, up and up until even the clouds covering the Earth looked tiny. By the time Goku summoned the power to press himself out of the way of the energy wave, he looked around in awe as he found himself out in space.

"Holy cow," he gasped and then startled himself when he realized that he didn't need to breathe.

"Enjoying the view?" Beerus mused, suddenly appearing right at Goku's side. The hero lunged away from the god and took another fighting stance, but Beerus looked bored. "Are you ready to take this serious or not?"

"…I have," Goku replied, cautiously.

Beerus scowled. "You're joking? You have to be! This cannot be your full power."

Goku scoffed. "I'm not done yet, Beerus!" he roared as he suddenly charged the god.

Beerus watched coolly as the hero charged. While Beerus's calm was unbroken, Goku rushed in his fist pulled back, ready to knock the god's head off, but as Goku swung out with his mighty blow, the red aura surrounding him suddenly lifted. Just as Goku's fist struck Beerus's jaw, Goku's Saiyan God form had been replaced with his Super Saiyan form.

The hero watched in horror as his fist pressed unimpressively against the god's face.

"I think you are," Beerus replied.

Towa dodged around a storm of Death Beams expertly before palming a ball of red energy in her hand and firing it upward. Frieza stopped the raining of his beams and met the fiery ball of energy with his own pink energy blast. The balls met with a violent explosion and out of the dying light, Towa's scepter rocketed toward Frieza.

Narrowly, the former tyrant dodged the spearing weapon. But as he turned to follow it's trajectory, Towa appeared at his side with another energy orb in hand. Frieza had just enough time to bring up his arms in defense before being blown backward by the point blank attack.

As Frieza hurtled across the sky, back on solid ground, Cell took a violent head-butt to the nose that sent his head rocking backward. Mira pressed on with two thunderous jabs and a roundhouse that sent the bio-android carving into the dirt.

Cell carved a small trench before flipping back onto his feet, and when he did so, Mira was already barreling down on him. Instinctively, Cell fired off his eye beams and caught the demon off guard – blasting him back across the island.

By the time, Mira recovered from the attack, Cell had appeared at his side with a kick that sent him into the air. Cell's golden aura roared around him as he took off to press the offense, and before Mira realized where he was the perfect android was hammering a round of furious blows across the demon. Cell topped off his assault with a double axe handle that sent Mira spearing back into the island below with an explosive force.

Cell took a moment to rest as he breathed in and out tiredly. His aura receded a bit as he watched the debris and dirt cloud settle below. "This is taking too long," he spoke and cast his eyes away from Mira's burial and out to the horizon. Any hint of an idea of where Goku and Beerus had gone, had now eluded him. Those two could've been on the other side of the planet by now and Cell would have no clue.

But he wasn't given too much longer to be concerned for Goku before Mira's dark aura exploded up from below. The debris gave way to Mira's power, making the monster's crater that much larger as he looked up at Cell with hunger in his eyes.

While Cell and Mira launched back into another furious battle, Frieza was zipping around in the air, dodging beam after beam from Towa while desperately avoiding her scepter as it darted around the sky.

"Run, run, run, little Frieza!" Towa laughed.

Frieza scoffed as he continued his flight. He dodged two more beams and flipped out of the way of the scepter before forming a ball of fiery energy in his hand and launching it at Towa. The ball had hardly gotten half way to the demon princess before being struck down by one her blasts. And outside the massive explosion in its wake, three more beams converged on the frost demon.

A flash of alarm overtook the unofficial kai before he dodged out of the way of the first two beams, but just as he was moving away from the third, Towa's scepter rushed in to slam into his ribs. Knocked into a daze of pain, Frieza was left wide open for the third beam to strike as well.

"I've got you!" Towa cheered and converged several more beams onto the hero.

The sky came alive with red lights as blast after blast struck, chasing Frieza's scorched body out the air with each explosion. And as the hero fell from the sky, Towa drew in a massive red ball of energy at her side. The energy nearly dwarfed its owner in size before the princess finally released it in a massive wave.

"Die!" she called out as her power struck Frieza's dazed body.

As the energy overtook the hero and victory appeared to be hers, the maniacal smile on Towa's face suddenly stiffened when she realized that her energy wave had been stopped in its tracks. Her smile suddenly began to give way to shock as a black, fiery aura suddenly exploded around her attack and held it in place. She screamed in frustration, but as soon as her scepter had returned to her free hand, she called on the dark energy of Demigra to help fight back.

Even with her added boost of godly energy, though, Towa's wasn't able to overwhelm the black fire. It wasn't until her bright, red wave was sent hurtling into the sky and out into space that Towa realized what had happened.

She sneered in anger as she looked into the chaotic, black aura roaring around Frieza, who had caught and dismissed her devastating attack with one hand.

With the blast taken care of, Frieza released a sigh and pulled back the dark power of his demon burst, allowing his aura to turn back to its purplish hue. "So that's where you hold your power," Frieza spoke.

"What are you talking about?" Towa snapped.

"You draw Demigra's energy from your staff. You don't house it within your own body. Why is that?" Frieza continued.

"Shut your mouth and die!" Towa screamed before firing out another beach-ball sized orb.

But, Frieza slapped it aside with ease. "Accepting his power must give him some kind of control over you. Not even you fully trust your demon god, do you?"

Towa seethed with fury. The dark aura coiled around her in an instant, blasting out in all directions, as she swung her scepter through the air. "Take this!" she screamed, carving a might arc of fiery energy with her scepter that careened toward Frieza.

Just as the attack looked ready to wash over the hero, Frieza's black aura exploded around him once more and he met the fiery arc head on in a powerful explosion that rocked the sky. As the light dwindled from the crashing powers, Towa looked into the blast zone breathing heavily from her exertion. Rage returned to her all at once as Frieza's energy flared once again illuminating the sky brilliantly in purple as he floated in his fifth form.

The bone mask pulled away from the frost demon's mouth as he said, "It's over, Towa."

Frantically, the demon princess looked out toward the island, watching as Mira and Cell battled.

The two warriors had paused just long enough to take note of Frieza's transformation.

"I guess we're done playing around," Cell announced.

Mira hardly had a second to be surprised before the ground around them was ripped asunder as Cell powered up. With mini arcs of lighting tearing at the soil around him, Cell offered a momentary smirk before he darted across to Mira in an instant and sent the demon flying out over the sea.

The perfect demon had to call on his dark aura to come to halt, but even so, his face resisted the urge to turn back around from the fierce punch it had withstood. He looked out across the water to where Cell's aura was bathing the island, but in the blink of an eye, the golden light disappeared.

Mira had half a second to look right above him as Cell reappeared with a Kamehameha all around cupped at his side.

"I had fun," Cell quipped before firing the blast at point blank and shooting the demon down into the sea.

Long before the massive wave could burrow into the sea floor and potentially strike Earth's core, Cell detonated the attack, leaving the sea to come aglow with a blinding light before igniting in a grand explosion that sent seawater hurtling dozens of feet into the air.

"No," Towa gasped before turning back to Frieza and lunging back as the frost demon appeared right in front of her.

But before she could move out of range, Frieza snatched the scepter out of her hand. Towa made a move as though she wanted to take it back, but one fierce glare from the hero made the demon princess rethink the move.

Frieza took his pupil-less eyes off of the princess and placed them back on the scepter as he gave it a casual twirl. "This should take care of the demons," he mused before holding the scepter out in front him, charging up his energy, and smashing the staff over his knee.

The scepter broke with a deafening bang as the dark energy of Demigra seeped out of it. Slowly, the weapon turn to dust in the hero's hand and when it had all disappeared, Frieza released a deep breath to turn back to his fourth form. Cell, also powered down, appeared at Frieza's side as they turned their attentions on Towa, who was looking between the two cautiously.

After a moment, the demon finally snapped at them. "Kill me and get it over with! I will not beg!"

"We're not going to kill you. There would be no point," Cell replied.

"You were Demigra's pawn. He was using you and everyone else to get what he wanted. Cell and I know what would've happened to you once he succeeded," Frieza added.

Towa was dumbfounded as she floated before the two. She watched as they turned away from her, talking of how they were going to find Goku and Beerus, and suddenly her blood boiled. "Do you think this is over?!" she screamed, reclaiming their attention. "You killed my brother! You ruined our hopes of freeing our people – twice! One way or another, I will make you both pay for what you have done!"

Frieza and Cell shared a concerned glance between one another before they armed themselves with confident smiles. "Bring it on," Frieza replied.

With one final scream, a blazing fire overtook Towa before she disappeared into a puff of smoke.

"I think we should have killed her," Cell spoke as he cast eyes back out onto the distant horizon.

Frieza shrugged as he turned to looking for a clue as to where Goku and Beerus were. "Maybe, but where's the fun in that?"

"Up," Cell replied.

"What?" Frieza asked and turned to face his comrade, only to watch as Cell's finger pointed to the sky. Frieza followed Cell's appendage to a humongous orb of purple energy barreling down on the planet from space. "Oh, that doesn't look good."
