Hey guys! Thank you so much for the reviews and emails - I read them all! Y'all don't now how happy it makes me...seriously, every time I open up my emails to see another review has been posted I literally scream lol. I love the feed back, it helps me so much with the direction of the story...and also the character development. And yes, I understand that some people hate how weak I've written both Rick and Michonne, but please wait till the end - love makes the strongest of people weak and unstable. I'll try my best to redeem these characters. Just wait and see where this will end up...ok? Deal? Please trust me. But for now, leave me message via a review or email on what you like, don't like, and where you think this story will go next!

Rick could barely think straight as he and Michonne ran in the direction of the main gate. Everything to him was a blur and he could barley catch his breath. The thought of Carl being outside the gates of Alexandria was enough to render him catatonic, however his body seemed to be in auto-drive as one foot after the other pounded on the pavement propelling him forward. They turned the curb and he whistled loudly to get Sasha's attention. As their eyes connected he motioned with one hand over his head to open the gate. Without thinking Sasha ran to the edge of the guard tower and bird called over to Abraham. Confused, Abraham hesitated. He fumbled with the chain till he managed to release the gate and quickly pushed back both gates simultaneously. He stood there looking around for who he was suppose to be letting in or out. The night was eerily quiet and Abraham stood there tense as he waited for further orders. As the sound of boots fast approaching echoed through the compound, Abraham fell back into the shadows with his semi-automatic ready to go. As the two figures from the dark got closer he could tell instantly that it was Rick and Michonne. Abraham let out a sigh of relief, but remained in the shadows waiting for Sasha's next order. Nothing made sense. But he knew, that any moment he might be called on to protect his group.

Before Rick and Michonne reached the gate Glenn pulled up in a pickup truck blocking them in their tracks.

"Stop!" Glenn yelled and jumped out and grabbed Rick by his shoulders as Rick tried to run around.

"I need to get out there. I need to..." Rick trailed off as he tried to move past Glenn.

"Rick, stop. We can't just aimlessly go out there without a plan. He could be anywhere. We don't even know what wall he climbed over or in which direction he ran in." Glenn pleaded as Rick began to fight back against him. "Rick! You're wasting time! We need to track him, how is this not making sense to you?!"

Rick finally nodded, unable to clearly comprehend what Glenn was trying to say, but knew he had to trust in his group. "We...we just need to find him." he finally mumbled.

"And we're going to. But we need to have a plan" Glenn searched his friends eyes before continuing, "We're going to get him, but we can't lose others along the way."

Rick nodded again. Finally falling back onto the hood of the truck. Leaning against it, trying to catch his breath while struggling to listen.

Seeing that he had finally gotten through to Rick, Glenn proceeded to the front passenger side if the truck and opened the door. There he retrieved three back packs and threw them to Michonne, "Please go through them. Double check everything. Amo, food, rope, you know the deal." Turning to Rick he walks up beside him and pulls out a tattered map from his back pocket. Glenn opens it up and places it on the hood next to Rick. "Look, he's been gone for 20-40 minutes, right? And our best tracker isn't here. So we need to work out how far he could've travel on foot before heading out there." Rick nodded, and scanned the map thinking frantically.

#URGENT

Guys I want to apologize in advance if y'all were expecting a longer chapter update from me, but I just got word from my friends that are in a very terrible situation. I will post the continuation of this chapter in a day or so. I promise!!

Please spare me 5 min your time to help my friends in need. I have tried every platform possible to help get the word out about them.

They are a group of fellow Kiwis (New Zealanders) that are stuck in Dubai at the moment. With no current medical insurance and no means to generate an income since Covid-19 happened(March). As you can imagine they are in a pretty diré situation. They desperately need assistance to get home. So please donate or even better post the link below to any social media platform out there. Any and all help is so much appreciated. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! ️
