Terra still couldn't believe that he'd somehow gotten a letter from the Love Tutor herself, without ever noticing it. How had she placed it in his backback? Who could it be?

Nobody knew who the Love Tutor was, but their tips proved to be successful, so maybe they could help him with this drama too (though Terra wouldn't be surprised if it was a girl, because obviously, no sane guy could possibly understand the complicated thought pattern of any girl). There had been an instant that Terra thought that maybe Axel was the Love Tutor, since he'd spotted him sneaking girly magazines out of the school's library. But the brunet teen pushed away that thought as soon as it hit him that this was Axel they were talking about, the school's oddball. He wouldn't be too surprised if the redhead spent his free time reading glossies like that.

According to the Love Tutor, a simple sorry wouldn't work on girls as special as Aqua. No, he really had to surprise her with something original. The problem was that he had no originality bone in his body.

To add insult to injury, he was also assigned to bring Aqua the homework they had for history, because she was ill today...and they were partners for some history project (that was the only repercussion they had gotten because of the elevator incident). What if she started throwing things at him as soon as she opened the front door?

Terra gulped and tried to shake these nasty thoughts out of his head. There was only one way to find out. After taking a deep breath, he rang the doorbell. A few seconds later, a blue-haired woman who had to be Aqua's mother, opened the door.

For a moment, Terra forgot how to start the conversation; it was like she was looking at a thirty-year-old Aqua, except that this woman had warm brown eyes and very very light freckles on her face.

Terra coughed, remembering that it was rude to stare. "Hello. Sorry to bother you. I just wanted to tell Aqua about all the homework and school-related stuff that she missed out on due to being sick?"

It came out as a question, but the woman smiled nonetheless and stepped aside to let him in. "Of course! That's very kind of you. Come on in. Aqua's room is upstairs, first door to your right."

Terra thanked the beautiful lady and made his way to Aqua's bedroom. He wasted no time knocking on the door, but she didn't answer. After knocking for the third time, Terra slowly opened the door and peered inside. The bed was unmade, but empty. He could hear the sound of the shower running behind another closed door in Aqua's bedroom. The dark-haired young man guessed that she was taking a shower, which gave him plenty of time to inspect his crush's room.

Aqua was a neat person, that much was obvious; he couldn't find a speck of dust in this room. There were no stray clothes, books, food or papers littered in the room. More importantly, the plants on her windowsill were alive! Even her desk was clean and empty. Her books were sorted in alphabetical order and her clothes were probably sorted in season and color too (he wouldn't mind taking a peek but knew that he had to respect her privacy). The few minor details that gave away that she was sick were the unmade bed, the tray of food on the bedside table and the huge pile of pillows and blankets near her bed...

Suddenly, Terra's eyes lit up. He had found the perfect way to make it up to Aqua. At once, he put down his backpack, before placing the many blankets and pillows to his liking. After a short while, he stepped back to admire his work. Aqua was going to love-

"You! What on earth have you done to my room?!"

Terra's eyes widened. Aqua didn't sound too happy about the redecoration. He gulped...

He swiveled around and nearly fell over his own feet in the process.

"Is it a hobby of yours to ruin my day?" the bluenette cried, sounding more and more irritably with every passing second.

"No! I-I just wanted to… I…made you a fort…to make you feel better?"

Again, it came out as a question, because Aqua was beautiful and terrifying at the same time and he wasn't sure how to act around her anymore.

Aqua in turn, looked at him sharply for a moment (Terra feared she would slap him), before her lovely features softened somewhat. "Okay, just…put it all back before you leave."

She sounded defeated, but at least she wasn't glaring holes at him anymore.

"Sure thing! I actually also brought you your homework for history. You know, fort he project we're doing together," Terra said.

Meanwhile, Aqua had gotten back into her bed, the covers pulled over her form.

"Go on," she said in a weak voice, and Terra realized he'd been staring at her, lost in thought.

Once again, he'd pulled a Terra.

"Oh! Uh…right. So, the project. I was thinking, maybe it's best if I get started and do most of the part, and once you're all better you can check my work and make sure it makes sense," he offered.

Little by little, Aqua seemed to behave less cold towards him, and for that, Terra was more than glad. Perhaps building the fort had helped after all. He had to give the Love Tutor some credit; the girl surely knew the way to a girl's heart.

Terra decided that the way to win over Aqua, was to shower her with sweet, meaningful deeds. And boy, had he some tricks up his sleeve for that!

"Terra."

Aqua's voice brought him back to reality.

"Yes?" he said.

"You're staring again…" Aqua said dryly.

"Oh! Sorry, didn't realize it," Terra said sheepisly, before averting his gaze and looking down at the history book in his lap.

A/N: This is the first time I wrote about Aqua hating Terra and I can't say that it wasn't amusing lol.
