Stage Eight: Finale

"The shadows have engulfed the flames of infernity." Construct declares, "And now I am finally free to exact my revenge!"

She forces the dark dragon to fly up and raise its crimson wings. "I order you, use Eclipse Inferno Strike!"

Immediately the red dragon glows, revealing ten red canisters, which it then fires out, creating a wave of flames around our heroes.

Then she turns to the tree behind her, "The oracle of Zefra has granted me the power to control all! And no one, not even you, can stop me!"

But Star and Marco both grit their teeth in response, "We'll stop you and seal you away again!"

"Crush them." Construct commands, and field of fire almost immediately closes around them…

Only for Star and Steven to react.

Steven throws up his bubble, while Star powers it up with, "Mega Bubblegum Balloon!"

"Pathetic." Construct then releases the dragon "I hold the ancient powers that had sealed me away! What makes you think you stand a chance against me?!"

"We have the determination to fight!" Sonic Shouts, and Stanford continues, "And the wit too!"

"My hatred and wisdom, over one thousand years old…" She then lifts up the multi-colored orb and commands, "Orbs come to me! I have spent millennia trapped in stone, and I will not be sealed away again!"

Immediately the nine other orbs fly to her sides and float around the multi-orb, "And besides, each orb has brought with them, a wielder of darkness!"

Bill then materializes next to her, and the blue and pink orbs fly to him, "Two orbs! Don't mind if I do!" He then absorbs their power and glows with their energy.

"How are you back Bill?! We erased you remember?!" Stanley shouts while pointing at the demon, only for a wave of energy to push them back, closer to the edge of the shrine.

With that, Lord Hater's starship descends upon them and with him, the orange orb flies up to meet him, "Ooo, the orange and purple orbs! Almost like the ones I had before!" once he sees Wander and Sylvia, Hater quickly changes his tone, "I still hate purple, mind you, I'm just making an exception this time!" And with that, he absorbs their power as well.

"Hey Lord Hater!" The little orange alien shouts, much to Sylvia's dismay. "Wander! He's got those orb of infinite power!"

"What the?" Wander says, but before he can respond, another challenger appears, this time it's Eggman, and immediately the red and green orbs fly to his side.

"Sonic, it's Eggman!" Tails responds, while all Sonic can do is respond, "No way! We beat you! Why are you here?!"

The egg shaped man laughs maniacally before responding, "I detected high energy waves nearby, I guess I was right!"

Lastly, a corrupted Jasper blasts her way onto the scene and roars, somehow attracting the yellow and grey orbs to her side, purifying her as she absorbed their power. "Wait, what?!" the Crystal Gems scream in shock.

Construct then holds up the purple and multi-color orbs and commands, "You have failed! Shaddolls, take care of them, my chosen of zefra, let us depart and take over this universe!"

"Not today, Construct," Bill Responds, "I've waited too long to take these mortals out, Go ahead without me, I'll catch up." Then the dream demon conjures his two orbs and sets them ablaze.

Jasper is the second to step forward, "These crystal gems need to pay, especially that pesky Rose Quartz! I'll make them pay for what she did to my diamond!" And with that she conjures her helmet as well as a hard light sword. "And this time, I'll come out victorious, fusion or no fusion!"

"Yes, my egg carrier is fully charged as well, I will take on that pesky hedgehog before I go!" Eggman responds, activating his carrier's cannons as he did so.

Lord Hater soon joins in. "If all of these people are staying behind, I'll join them." Then he turns and points at Wander, "I will get you Wander!"

*Sigh* "So be it." Construct goes in a defeated tone. She then raises her own orbs, "Then let us take on the only threats to our power!" And with that Construct jumps at Star and Marco, and the rest of them follow suit.

Bill grabs Dipper and Mabel, only for the Stan twins to counter with their weapons. Sonic is forced to run from a charging Eggman. Wander obliviously dodges Hater's laser blasts while Sylvia tries to get his attention. And Jasper easily holds off the crystal gems by conjuring new weapons on the fly.

Star then jumps up and attempts to attack Construct, only to get forced back in the process.

It isn't long before most of them are defeated and their victorious enemies stand before them, ready to deal the finishing blows. And yet, after everyone else is defeated, the only two who dare to remain standing are Star and Marco.

Construct laughs, "This is just priceless. Two random specks of dust dare to defy my chosen! Shaddolls take care of them!" And immediately a horde of ghostly figures surrounds the duo.

"We won't give up that easily!" Star declares while Marco fights the shaddolls, "Yeah! We won't lose! We'll fight!"

Star then raises her wand with, "Neutron Blast!"

"So be it." Construct coldly went, "Swarm them." And immediately the shaddolls began to clump over the duo, holding them down and preventing them from moving.

It seems that all is lost…

Without warning, a blue laser blasts them away. Immediately the duo turns, and finds Stanford holding now injured side as well as his weapon, "If those two won't give up then neither will I." He declares, followed by Stanley and the twins, "And neither will we!"

"Haha! Well then, tell the Time Baby that I say hi!" Bill goes, his flames engulfing the Gravity Falls Gang… only for the crystal gems to jump into the fire and force them apart. "What?!"

Steven lowers his bubble with, "Yeah! The Crystal Gems will never surrender to the likes of you!"

Jasper then jumps into action in an attempt to shatter them, only for Sonic to come to their aid and force her away, "I won't give up either, you with me guys?"

Team Sonic nods in agreement and joins him. Finally Wander rides on Sylvia and declares, "Let's go! I think I feel a second wind coming along!"

Lord Hater just face palms in response. "I feel a second headache coming already."

"You wish to die for what exactly? To stop me? To seal me away because my power scares you?!" Construct's frown grows into a sinister smile, "So be it." Then she calls for her two orbs and charges a single blast. The other villains follow suit and do the same, "Say goodbye dust mites."

And with that they fire.

When the dust clears our heroes still stand, their bodies glowing with a color, almost as if that power protected them.

"No!" Star goes, "We won't give up that easily!" Marco continues, "We fought you all to get these orbs! And we can do it again!"

All of them begin to glow brighter. And the orbs break away from the villains, with the multi colored orb flying over to Steven, and the rest choosing their own partner. Red and yellow to Marco and Star, blue and pink to Dipper and Mabel, Orange and Purple to Wander and Sylvia, Green and Grey to Sonic and Tails, and Purple to Garnet.

"It's time for round two." Star goes and the heroes jump at the villains once more, their powers now increased by the orbs.

"No… This can't be!" Construct goes, "The orbs have chosen them!" Immediately Construct's purple strings snap, "They have become the chosen of Zefra?!"

With that, the tide of battle shifts. Immediately the chosen jump into action and fight their enemies.

Jasper tries to charge head-on against the crystal gems, only for Steven to block her with a multi-colored shield. And Garnet's powered up gauntlets are more than enough to poof her into her gem.

Eggman Desperately tries to hit Sonic, only for the blue, or should I say green blur to run onto his carrier with the grey tails joining him for the ride.

Bill on the other hand tries to blast Dipper and Mabel, as well as the Stan twins, only for both sets to get drop on him and force him down. Stanley then proceeds to punch the demon in the face… somehow.

As for Lord Hater… Sylvia tries to do something, but Wander continues to aimlessly dodge his attacks. So… umm… nothing to see there.

And Lastly, Construct used her control over light and darkness in a desperate attempt to hold down Star and Marco, only for them to easily hold her at bay.

"Ludo Dragon, come to me!" She desperately commands, and the red mechanical dragon descends once more, but even it proves futile against the chosen of Zefra.

In a last ditch effort to dispose of the chosen, Construct commands, "Dark ones come to me!" She regrew her wires and enveloped her allies with the strings, forcing them to fuse with her.

They glow with dark energy and clump together; when complete the creature is like none other. Its dark body looms over the battlefield of the Oracle. It's crystal wings glow with black light and are trimmed with crystal orange. And its long snake-like tail breathes fire.

"What is that thing?!" Garnet shouts at the sight.

"Who cares? Keep fighting!" Sonic responds.

Even with all of them fighting back, they stand no match against the dark fusion.

Finally, all of their allies lie defeated, and yet the ten wielders of the orbs stand defiant to the end.

The dark creature bathes them in fire, and yet it would not harm them.

Their orbs begin to resonate with their determination and they gain pure white, metallic wings.

"We are the Chosen of Zefra!" Marco and Star declare before combining their power with the rest of them, fusing the ten chosen in a single massive woman, decorated with gold and silver, holding the ten orbs around her hands.

"With the power of light, I banish thee once more!" She commands as her powers bathe the entire shrine in golden light.

When it finally dies down, the massive creature is gone, and in its place are the reality villains, save for Construct who is missing.

With that, the woman separates into her ten components.

"We did it…" Marco goes.

"Yeah, that was awesome!" Steven responds.

"So what happened to Construct?" Star asks, only for her father to respond, "She was sealed away once more. Another thousand years will pass before she will be freed again."

The man then appears through a portal right next to her.

"So I guess our adventure is over huh?" Marco asks.

"For now, yes." He responds.

Then Star and Marco step onto the shrine and turn to the rest of them, "Thank you for everything, we could not have beaten her without your help!"

"And thank you for helping us." Pearl states, showing Jasper's bubbled gem.

"Yeah, you guys rocked!" Sonic adds with a wink, "Not way past cool like myself, but you're getting close."

"Never hurts to help." Wander waves his hat.

"Uh...generic half-baked farewell statement." is all Stan can come up, making the twins and Stanford jab him softly on the arm. "Okay, thanks for everything."

Then Star raises her wand, "Return to the Different Dimensions!"

And with that, everyone is sent back to their home dimensions, all while waving goodbye at Star and Marco.

A few minutes later...

Once the duo arrive back home, they see it's still in shambles and ruins after the whole mess.

"So, I guess we should better start cleaning this up?" Marco suggests, holding a broom.

Star conjures up a broom as well, but before they can do anything, a female voice shouts:

"Dimensional Miraculous Ladybug!"

With that said, the sky briefly turns red as a shockwave happens through all of the multiverse, fixing up all the dimensions back to their original state, including Mewni and Echo Creek. Star is absolutely overjoyed at this chain of events, while Marco's left speechless.

"What just happened?" Marco asks, absolutely dumbfounded.

"Who cares? Everything's okay!" Star shouts. "Come on, let's go see everyone!"

The princess grabs Marco's hand and drags him with her as a pair of figures watch them on the rooftops, right before jumping onto a pink and red portal that closes once they cross it.
