It had taken everyone by surprise when, one day like any other, Akashi Seijuro had walked in holding Rei's hand. People didn't know why she had agreed to date the intimidating man, and when her friends asked the brunette about it, Rei simply shook her head and ignored their worried looks.

"He took me to the fair," she had said one day, grinning like a kid who had just found a candy. "He even got me a stuffed tiger!"

Nevertheless, as time went by, Akashi couldn't help but feel that his girlfriend's attention wasn't on him like it usually was. Someone was slowly taking his place, and it angered him to no end.

No, he was not jealous.

However, as his gaze fell upon Rei for the third time in a row, something inside him churned with rage. He tried to keep his cool demeanor and turned away, only for it to finally break when she managed to catch his eyes for the fourth time. The brunette hadn't even moved from the desk next to his, and Akashi could only glare at the scene before him.

Her cheeks were flushed, and her eyes shone with adoration while she watched them. From time to time, the girl would let out a dreamy sigh.

Akashi was going crazy. He didn't seem to be able to hold his anger anymore, for he stood from his seat and walked over to his girlfriend. Before Rei could do anything, he grabbed the one who held her full attention by their neck and took them away from her. Swiftly, Akashi turned them around so he came face to face with their emotionless eyes.

Emotionless, yes. They didn't look disturbed at all by the dangerous situation they were in.

Akashi glared coldly into their dark eyes, still holding them by their neck as he did. However, the more he tried to intimidate them, the more he felt he was being ignored.

Were they mocking him?

Rei could only watch in pure amusement as her boyfriend declared war to her lovely friend.
