Hi guys how you doin' ? Great I hope ! So did you see Flash 1x16 ? Awesome and very interesting, though, I'm sad we have to say goodbye to Mason. I was beginning to have an interest in his relationship with Iris and as a character it's too bad to not see him more than that because he ws interesting. Anyway, I had this idea yesterday evening and had to write it so here it is !

"He had an exemplary line of duty as a journalist, always seeking the truth and never hiding it. Many people would have believed him gruff at first sight and maybe they were right, but Mason was more than that." She paused, emotion filling the air. "He was someone exceptional who helped me become the journalist I am now, and I'm proud and grateful. He never made it easy for me but that's why I know now the job better, as everyone should learn it and do it." A pause and she gulped, finding it hard to speak correctly. "I know I may be not the best person to talk about him since we only had a few months to know each other but working with him was something you can't imagine unless you're experiencing it." A sob came, before she gained back composure. "Once you know him, there's the little things he does for you, you notice : he offered me lunch more than once when I was losing track of time when working on a paper, there was that look in his eyes, he didn't even have to talk, I knew what he was thinking, I knew he was watching after me when he thought I wasn't noticing. For my first paper, he said nothing. The second one he smiled. The third one he offered me a flower. He hid behind his sarcastic and ironic tone but it was his way of showing he cared. Mason is someone I won't forget for my entire life as he taught me many things. After all, as our chief called him the first time we met, he was my Mama Bear in the job. And I just wish I could have him back." She finished by bursting into tears. Iris left the stage of the church and went back on her seat next to her father and Linda. Mason's funeral were awful for her, she had too many feelings. And maybe, now that it was too late, she realized how much she had wanted to tell him, how much she was grateful of their meeting. But he would never know, and no one would ever will.
