It was a chilly night in San Francisco. In the Tanner household, everyone was sleeping warm in their beds. It had been a few weeks since the final visit of Papouli, Jesse's grandfather and the visit of Jesse's cousin Stavros. Jesse was deeply asleep with his beloved wife, Rebecca. Danny was sleeping soundly in his bed. Joey was sleeping like a baby. Donna Jo (or "DJ"), Stephanie, Michelle and Nicky and Alex were all sleeping snugly.

When, strangely, everyone woke simultaneously, not sure why, but they all felt drawn downstairs to the living room, seeing a strange light. A strange, yet somehow comforting and warm light. Without saying a word to each other, they all headed downstairs into the living room, drawn by the mysterious golden light. When they were all downstairs, two figures began to take shape in the light. Before their eyes, materialized two figures: none other than Jesse's late grandfather, Papouli, and Pamela Tanner, Danny's late wife, and the three girls' late mother, and Jesse's late sister.

They smiled at the family. "Hello, everyone," Papouli said, smiling, his beautiful accent reverberating. "Hello, my family," Pam added, also smiling. Yet their mouths did not move. Their voices were heard in everyone's minds. Everyone gasped soundlessly, unable to move. Papouli and Pam both looked absolutely wonderful and healthy, in fact, much better than they ever did in life. "Yes, it's us," Papouli said. Pam nodded. "We just wanted to tell you all that we are both okay, and doing wonderfully, and we just wanted to see you. You are all doing wonderfully." The family began to silently cry, but they were tears of joy, not sorrow.

"We never left you all. Even though we are out of sight, we are never gone." Papouli and Pam smiled at everyone, one at a time, direct eye contact. Pam stepped forward and embraced Danny, and Jesse and Joey, and her three days. She paused and smiled at Rebecca. "You are a good match for my brother," she said. She knelt and smiled each of their sons. "Hi there," she said to them. "I'm Pam." The boys replied, "Hi, I'm Nicky." "I'm Alex." She smiled again and rose to her full height.

Papouli took his turn embracing the family. "Little Michelle," he said, embracing Michelle. "Papouli!" she shrieked. Jesse also stepped into his embrace. Then the rest of the family followed, and lastly, Pam joined in. It lasted an eternity. When everyone released one another, Papouli and Pam once again put their arms around one another.

"It is time for us to go. But we will always be watching you all, until we're all together again someday," they said to the family. The family all had tears of joy. Papouli and Pam waved. The family returned the waves, as Papouli and Pam slowly faded from sight. The golden light gradually followed, leaving only the dark living room.

The family hugged one another at once, feeling overjoyed. No words were needed. Their hearts and souls were completely comforted, now that their worries and sorrows had lifted. They now knew their loved ones were at peace. They would always have each other as long as they were in this world.
