So, this one is a bit more Seth and Shayla centered but I promise their story is coming soon. But I figured Seth's birthday deserved a Daddy!Seth oneshot because why not?

"Mama, let's go! We gotta go see Daddy!" The three year old spoke to her mother, who only sat in her seat while she waited for the plane to clear out before bringing her daughter out of the plane.

"He's not going anywhere, sweetheart." Shayla assured, adjusting her daughter's side ponytail. "He's gonna love your outfit, though."

"He is?" She asked, the cutest little smile on her face as she stood with her mother.

"Yes, sweetie. Don't forget your bag." The mother reminded, pointing to the little pink backpack that was left leaning against the wall of the plane. "Let's get out of here and go see Daddy so you can give him your gifts, yeah?"

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" The little girl did her best Daniel Bryan impersonation, jabbing her fingers into the air as her mother looked on with an amused smile on her face.

"Alright, Daniel, let's go see your daddy." Shayla teased, placing a gentle hand on her daughter's head and guiding her into the isle. She took a moment to make sure that everything had been taken care of and nothing forgotten before giving Juliana the gentle nudge to start walking forwards. "How did you like the plane?"

"It made my ears hurt."

"I know, mi amor. It gets better with time." She assured, adjusting her purse and checking her phone for the time and hoping that Seth would be on time. Juliana was yawning as she walked, and almost walked into a pole had Shayla not pulled her out of the way. "You've got to be more careful, sweetie."

"I sorry, mama."

"Don't be sorry, Julie. Just be more careful, okay?" She requested, holding her daughter's hand as they stepped onto the escalator that would take them downstairs. She was excited to see Seth, and couldn't help but grin when she saw his unmistakable head of hair waiting by the baggage claim for their flight. "He's here."

"He is!?" Juliana squealed, successfully grabbing the attention of many- including Seth. He turned towards the escalator and Shayla couldn't help but grin as Juliana ran to him once she was on level ground. Seth didn't miss a beat, picking up the little girl and holding her close to his chest as Shayla took her time to walk over there.

"I missed you Jellybean."

"Missed you, too, Daddy." She murmured into his neck, allowing him to shift her over to his hip as her mother approached. His free arm wrapped around her waist and Shayla smiled against his cheek as he kissed her forehead.

"And I missed you, Shayla." Seth murmured against her skin, tilting her head back to kiss her chastely.

"I missed you, too, Sethie." Shayla whispered, smiling up at her man and trying to ignore all of the flashes going off from various directions. She may have been a popular actress on Telemundo, but this wasn't anything she was typically used to. She and Seth were rarely together in super public places like this, so this was practically new to her. "Let's get our bags, yeah?"

"Of course." He spoke with a smile, glancing around and seeing just why she was trying to leave. "I picked up a car seat from the store on my way here, I know the kind that she has in your car and-"

"Relax, Sethie. You did good because I forgot about her car seat completely."

"Too excited to see me?"

"Something like that." Shayla spoke with a smile, opting to hold Seth's hand as they headed towards the carousel.

"Dats mine!" Juliana shouted, pointing to her pink polka-dotted suitcase. Seth quickly ran to get it, spotting Shayla's suitcase as it started to roll by and grabbing that one, too. "It has pwesents!"

"Presents for me, Jellybean?

"Uh huh!"

"Do you want her or the suitcases?" Seth asked and Shayla shrugged, grinning when Seth handed Juliana over to her and took her purse before grabbing the suitcases. "I didn't park too far away."

"Oh, good." Shayla spoke softly, feeling Juliana rest her head on her shoulder. The little yawn followed and the mother smiled as she and Seth made their way towards the exit. "She's had a big day so far."

"First plane?"

"Yeah, and she was really excited to see you on your birthday so I don't think she slept much last night."

"Probably not." Seth agreed, nodding his acknowledgement to a couple fans who called out to him.

"Do you want to go say hi or something?"

"Nah, it's okay." He spoke with a shrug, smiling over at his girlfriend. "Let's get her home so she can lay down."

"And you're sure?"

"Positive." The confidence in his tone sold her on how positive he was, and she nodded with a smile as he loaded up their suitcases. Her purse hung proudly on his shoulder as he did so and moved to the driver's side and open to door so he could put the seat forward and get Juliana into her car seat. "I even got a toddler bed and some Frozen sheets for her too."

"You're so good to her." Shayla praised, leaning back against the Cadillac coupe and smirking when Seth leaned against her to trap her against the car.

"I'm gonna be real good to you tonight, too, Shay." He murmured low into her ear, loving the way she shuddered against him. "Into the car with you, sweetheart. Sooner we get home, sooner we get rid of Jellybean and can duck like bunnies."

"You're so bad." Shayla giggled, gently pushing him away so she could go around to the passenger's side of the car. But Seth was quick to run around the car so that he could open the door for her, earning a grin and and kiss from his girlfriend before he helped her into the car and handed her purse back to her.

"How long has it been since we got to have dinner just the two of us?" Shayla asked with a smile before taking a sip of her wine. It was just her and her man in the back corner of a nice restaurant, Juliana was with Seth's parents for the night and she was pleasantly surprised by her own parents being there as well. Seth simply explained wanting to spend his birthday with his whole family, meaning his future in-laws, and she could only laugh. Not that she didn't want to marry Seth, but she didn't think that she was ready for that.

"A couple months, but I wouldn't change it for the world."

"Neither would I." She murmured, letting Seth take her hand in his over the table.

"You know that you mean everything to me, right?" He spoke softly, brown eyes watching her face carefully. All she could do was nod, not wanting this conversation to lead into a proposal. She wouldn't be able to say no, but she was certain that he wouldn't appreciate her stalling wedding planning as long as she possibly could. "You and Juliana are my world and I wanted to thank you for taking that leap of faith with me and allowing me into your lives as more than just that guy you filmed a movie with."

"Seth, I-"

"I'm not done yet." He interrupted her, smiling when she nodded and squeezed his hand. "You stepped out of so many of your comfort zones for me, all because I was a persistent little shit and you continue to do so and I'm grateful for it. I'm so grateful for you and our daughter, Shayla. I'm not proposing now, but that's in our future babe. I just needed you to know how much I appreciate and love you."

"I love you, too, Seth." She whispered, tears welling up in her eyes that had Seth moving to sit beside her in the booth so he could wipe at her eyes with a napkin while making sure not to smudge her makeup. "Thanks. I'm sorry that I tend to be so emotional."

"You're a woman, its okay." He chuckled, kissing her forehead. "And you're my woman, which means that I signed up to deal with this and wouldn't change a thing about you."

"Keep sweet talking me, babe." She requested, smiling when he waved over a waiter for the check so they could get out of there.

"I'm gonna do a lot more than just sweet talk you, babe." Seth corrected, gently stroking her cheek as those eyes darkened with an all too familiar look of lust. "I do believe that I made a promise in the airport and we might not even make it out of the car before it starts."

Seth woke up alone in bed and sighed, wondering where his girlfriend had run off to. It was his birthday, and Shayla couldn't even stay in bed with him? It wasn't often that either of them got to sleep in, and when they finally get to she decides to leave early. Frustrated wasn't the right word to use, and he hoped to God that she was just in the bathroom and would be returning to bed shortly.

He wasn't even going to look for her. He was just going to lay there and wait for her to return because it was his birthday. She'd have to come back to him eventually, and he couldn't wait for that to happen so he could give her his "bitch face" for a few minutes.

Little did Seth know that Shayla was downstairs cooking his breakfast and had only been out of bed for about ten minutes. She wanted today to be special for her man, and expected him to still be asleep with how long they were up the night before. He could go all night, and she had been given the honor of experiencing that on quite a few occasions.

I hope eggs and bacon aren't violating any diet he's on. Even if the man can eat anything and still look perfect. She thought to herself, plating the eggs while nibbling on a piece of bacon. They had a couple hours before they had to be at Seth's parents' house to collect Juliana and go on a huge family outing with her parents, his parents, and Juliana. She didn't know what all Seth had planned, but that didn't really matter to her. She was going to be with her boyfriend on his birthday, and that was what truly mattered to her right now.

Shayla put the plate and coffee mug on a tray and made sure that she had shut everything off before carefully making her way up the stairs. She wobbled a bit, but made it up the stairs without falling and she was pretty proud of herself. She made it down the hall and peeked into the bedroom, seeing Seth sitting up and texting. Seeing him awake made her grin, and she took a deep breath before she started singing.

"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you." She started on her way into the bedroom, grabbing Seth's attention. She was thrown off by his "bitch face", but that didn't stop her. "Happy birthday, dear Sethie. Happy birthday to you."

He didn't say anything as she climbed into bed with him, but he took the tray to make things easier for her.

"What's with the bitch face?" She asked with a pout, tilting her head as she adjusted the black dress shirt of his that she was wearing. "Did I not make something you liked?"

"No, baby, this is perfect." Seth assured, quickly changing his face to make her happy. "I was just grumpy that you weren't in bed when I woke up."

"Well I can't make you a special birthday breakfast from the bed." She teased, giggling while she kissed his cheek. "Eat, babe."

"Have you eaten?" He asked, smiling at her when she picked up the fork. "You're going to feed me?"

"Maybe a couple bites." Shayla spoke with a shy smile, taking a bit of the eggs to make sure that she cooked them enough before getting a bite ready for her boyfriend.

"Did you eat?" Seth repeated his earlier question, watching as his girlfriend looked away briefly before shrugging her shoulders. "Not hungry?"

"Not really." She spoke softy, knowing that Seth didn't like when she skipped meals. "Today isn't about me, though."

"Can we take a picture for Instagram?" Seth asked quietly and she nodded, leaning in and kissing his cheek for the picture. "Oh, you look naked in that one."

"Can't have that." Shayla laughed, getting her own phone and taking a selfie with Seth and his breakfast. "How's that?"

"I like it." Seth murmured after a couple moments of scrutinizing the picture. "Let's take a picture for mine and then I'll definitely repost that one."

"You repost all of my pictures anyway." She commented, gently pinching her boyfriend's cheek before fixing her shirt and kissing his cheek. "Better?"

"Better. And I do not."

"Do too."

"Only the cute ones, and I didn't repost any of the ones from before we got together."

"All my pictures are cute ones to you." Shayla deadpanned before feeding her boyfriend while he typed his Instagram caption. "That's such a cheese fest, Seth."

"I'm allowed to be cheesy on my birthday." Seth laughed, watching Shayla take another bite and grinning when she ate. "I was hoping that maybe we could take the bike for a ride today? You promised, and-"

"I just don't want Juliana on it or even wanting to be right now." She cut him off, smiling as she pushed his hair back and gently scratched his scalp like she knew he liked. "We can go for a ride today babe, I just don't think I have clothes that are-"

"I may have bought you some things."

"Seth..."

"They're for your safety, babe." Seth defended, knowing that he needed to make it about her safety even if the only thing he bought for her safety was the helmet. The rest was because he loved spoiling her and that face she made whenever he did. Uncomfortable but thankful for whatever he had gotten for her.

"Alright. But your breakfast is getting cold."

"Our breakfast." He corrected, grinning when she bit her lip and shrugged. She didn't argue, though, and that was what mattered to him. She wasn't even hungry, or so she said, but she wasn't trying to argue with him because it was his birthday. "I love you, Shayla."

"I love you, too, Seth."

"Look, Mama!" Juliana called from where she sat with Seth on his motorcycle. The same motorcycle Shayla clearly remembered telling Seth that she didn't want their daughter on just earlier that morning. But instead of commenting on that fact the young mother just smiled at her daughter and boyfriend, deciding to show Seth just how much she trusted him with their daughter.

"I see, Julie. Just be careful, alright? Listen to your daddy."

"Your tone speaks volumes, Shayla." Her mother commented from where she was seated beside her at the outdoor table and Seth's mom nodded her agreement. They were the mom club, decided by Seth's mom much to Seth's embarrassment but Shayla's dad had quickly jumped in and claimed that now they could have a dad club. Their parents meshed well together, and Shayla liked but dreaded it all at the same time. The playful teasing almost never stopped.

"I'm just frustrated because we were talking about that death trap this morning and I told him that I didn't want Juliana on it while she is still so little."

"But...?" Seth's mother asked, knowing that there was more to Shayla's statement despite the fact that she stopped talking.

"But," She continued, looking between the two women before taking a picture of Seth and Juliana on her phone. "I trust that he won't let anything happen to her. And it's his birthday so I'm certain that I can't yell at him for his inability to listen until tomorrow and there would be no point in yelling at him tomorrow over old complaints."

"My little one is all grown up." Her mother cooed as she ruffled her daughter's hair, earning a distressed whine from the young mother. Shayla was quick to fix her hair, knowing that she needed to look presentable for what pictures Seth took of her while she wasn't paying attention. He loved candids for some reason. "Taking a man for who he is and accepting his inability to listen for the greater good of the world. You've impressed me, Shayla."

"This is just one time, and only because it's his birthday. Tomorrow I won't be as generous."

"And that's why you and Seth will be together until you die." Seth's mom spoke up, looking to the house when their dads stepped out. "Are you girls ready to go?"

"Hey, Linda, don't you start with me." Seth's dad spoke up while Shayla's dad nodded his agreement. Shayla's mom only scoffed, mumbling in Spanish about how ridiculous the two men were being.

"What are we even doing today?" Shayla asked, looking up from her phone when Seth brought Juliana over.

"I'm taking my wonderful family out to lunch and then we're just going to relax at home."

"You get the bouncy, daddy?"

"Not for my birthday, jellybean. The bouncy house is for your birthday next month." Seth laughed, tickling her side to get her to laugh. But she jerked and almost fell from his hold, something Shayla's reflexes were quick to catch and she shot a hand out to hold Juliana up. "I've got her, Shay."

"That won't stop my reflexes." She stated, looking up at her boyfriend with a loving smile when he held his free hand out for her to take.

"So, Shay and I on the bike and you guys can divy out cars?" That question had Shayla mentally rolling her eyes, since she was terrified of Seth's motorcycle, but she'd make it work since it was his birthday.

"I wanna ride da bike." Juliana stated, pouting up at her daddy because the three year old know that was her weakness. Unfortunately for her, Seth had a strong resolve on this topic. Shayla's warning glare telling him exactly why he needed a strong resolve. Three weeks without sex at minimum was not anything he was interested in signing himself up for. "Pwease Daddy?"

"Juliana, you're too little for my bike. But when you're older I promise that we'll go for a ride." Seth promised, smiling at the little girl as she continued to pout up at him. He wasn't going to break, he couldn't. It was bad enough that Shayla was bothered by having to ride the bike all day so the last thing he needed was further bother his girlfriend. He was testing her limits enough as it is and he understood that.

But, all in all, this was Seth's day. She would have plenty of time to make him pay for his transgressions, but not today. She would give him whatever it was he wanted within reason, and she knew that he'd return the favor in the next few days. That was just how Seth did things, and she loved him for it.

Happy birthday Seth. She thought to herself, kissing his cheek for seemingly no reason as they headed for the cars.
