In Littleroot Town, Caroline Hale woke up her 17 year old daughter Louella. "Louella, ready to get your Pokémon?"

Louella woke up. "Yes, I am ready." Louella changed into her outfit- a white lace shirt, a blue shrug, a white skirt, blue sneakers and a white hair barrette.

After Caroline left to feed Louella's 2 year old sister Maemi, Louella made sure she had everything.

The 17 year old knocked on three small doors. Three Pokémon opened them and exited their little houses.

These were Louella's lifetime friends Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf. Uxie and Mesprit turned into their human girl forms and Azelf his human boy form. Uxie, in her human form, was known as Ulyana, Mesprit Meddella and Azelf Alexander.

After breakfast, Maemi went to play in the backyard. "Buh, buh, buh, buh, buh!" Maemi babbled. Louella came from behind. "Ready, Maemi? Kick the baby!"

"Don't kick the baby." Babbled Maemi.

"Kick the baby." Louella retorted, kicking Maemi through the window

"Maemi, you broke another window! That's a bad baby! Bad baby!" Caroline scolded.

Louella then walked by, followed by Ulyana, Meddella and Alexander. "Louella, take your little sister with you and make sure she doesn't cause trouble.

Louella sighed. "But mom isn't she too young?"

"DO AS I SAY, LOUELLA!" Caroline yelled.

"Yes, mom." Louella replied solemnly.

The platinum blonde walked out the door with Maemi, Ulyana, Meddella and Alexander trailing behind her.

Louella, Maemi and their parents had moved to Littleroot Town because Louella and Maemi's father, Norman, was transferred to the Petalburg Gym as the leader there.

Louella was thrilled when she met a neighbor her age. His name was Brendan, son of Professor Birch and his wife Martha.

Louella walked backwards, admiring the scenery when she bumped into someone.

"Are you all right?" The girl asked.

"Yeah," Louella replied. "I'm fine."

"Hi," the girl said, offering her hand to Louella. "I'm Megan Schultz. You must be new."

Louella and Megan shook hands. "Louella Hale. Hi, yeah, my dad just got transferred… again."

"Welcome! Moving can be such a drag!"

"I know, right? Pretty tough when you are the daughter of a Gym Leader." Louella replied.

Louella and Megan went to get their Pokémon.
