A/N: I'm so sorry for taking so long to post, I have been busy for the end of the year and was out enjoying my holidays, there was also the start of school and I haven't had the time to write, I was also stumped on how to continue with this chapter, but I got through it and now I'm on a normal scheduled I can take my time to get back to writing. Please enjoy the next chapter of 'Everything Happens for a Reason', nothing much happens in here, though the next few chapters it will be much more interesting as plots that I have set out in past chapters will start to take place. I am also going to introduce more canon characters later on, bring them into the story, I don't know if they become permanent or not, but we will find that out when the story progresses.
Also thank you for favouriting, following or reviewing!
Enjoy Everyone!
Whimpers and hiccuping were what woke Prowl on the first day of the weekend this morning, most teenagers his age would still be sleeping until late morning, but he couldn't, he had a responsibility. Groaning, he rolled over and sat up on the edge of his berth, stretching his still cables before standing up to move over the the hungry sparkling. Prowl smiled at Bluestreak once he reached the crib, watching momentarily before picking up the mostly grey Praxian and leaving his room.
"Let's go get something to eat, Blue." Prowl whispered to his sparkling, creeping down the hall quietly, so not to wake up anyone. It was too early for everyone else to be awake, even the servants, it wasn't even light out yet. Prowl could only see a sliver of the sun rising above the city when he looked out the large windows when he passed them.
Walking through a door that led to the kitchen, Prowl placed Bluestreak in his child seat at the table in the kitchen while grabbing two energon cubes, he put the energon on the table with a cup and a bottle. Emptying each cube into one of the bottles and the cup Prowl then walked to the other side of the very large kitchen and reached into a cupboard, pulling out a container with powder and a little glass jar with metal shavings in it, the large container containing sparkling nutrients and the other small jar were flavours to put in his own drink.
Once he was finished making the drinks, he grabbed the bottle first and gave it to Bluestreak while saying, "Here you go." the sparkling was now old enough to hold the bottle himself, though sometimes Prowl had to help him steady it as he would fumble. As soon as Prowl was sure Bluestreak had a steady hold, he grabbed his own drink and sat down in a chair next to Blue, sipping at his own drink.
Prowl would not have to go through all this as most mothers would feed their sparkling from their own self-made energon, that would be feed to the sparklings through a feeding cable within their chest, something that becomes noticed when mother start the ending stage of their pregnancy. But, because of his young age and not having a bondmate to support him through the pregnancy, he was too weak after giving birth to Bluestreak to feed him of his own energon.
Prowl's quiet morning was though interrupted by two bots entering the kitchen, a femme that had a rose pink and silver paint job with light blue optics and a mech with a green and black paint job with an orange visor. Both froze at seeing Prowl sitting at the table, a table usually used to put finished dishes before bringing them out for the family of this household to eat or for the servants to used when it was their meal time.
"Um... Prowl, sir?" The mech mumbled quietly, confused why the son of the house was sitting at the table in the KITCHEN and have made his own meal for the morning, something that the servants were supposed to do.
The black and white doorwinger was quite surprised that someone was awake, much less two bots. But looking out the small kitchen window and seeing the sun had already risen told him that he had been in the kitchen longer then he thought. "Sorry, I rose up early and did not want to disturb anyone, I decided to make my own energon, so this morning you do not have to include me in the morning meal." Prowl smiled at the two servants before grabbing Bluestreak, who was now finished drinking his energon, and left the room quietly.
Prowl couldn't stop a small smile to take place on his face, the looks on their faces amused him. To see two paid well servants enter the kitchen to cook the morning meal for the family and seeing, not one but two of the household family members already up and eaten. Not something you see everyday in their household and must have been strange to the two servants.
After a few minutes, the door of Prowl's room finally came in sight, heading towards it, he walked inside slowly. The door closed behind him with a quiet thud, the thick structure causing the door to close much slower and quieter then other doors. But Prowl didn't care much as he had hand picked this door for it's beauty and sturdy build.
"Here you go." Prowl mumbled, placing the little sparkling on the ground near his toys. He was about to join him but the communication system bleeped with a call from someone. Grunting, he stood back up and walked over to the computer, pressing a button and Jazz's face appeared. Prowl cocked his head slightly, he couldn't understand how Jazz was on one of these, they were very expensive and the only commutator he saw in his house was a voice one where you have to speak through a microphone, but there was no camera to transit a visual of yourself to your caller or who you were calling.
The visored mech laughed, like he knew what Prowl was thinking. "Ah'm at Red's house, usin' his communicator." He said, then Red Alert appeared in the screen and it suddenly made sense to Prow. Jazz cleared his throat to calm his systems, looking back to Prowl he asked, "So... I heard about this party-"
"No."
"Aww, but-"
"No, Jazz. My parents won't allow it and neither shall I." The black and white Praxian said, the last time he went to a party, Bluestreak happened. There was no way Prowl was going to allow that to happen again, even though he loved Bluestreak, one was enough.
"But... Ya have ta go, me an' Red will be all alone." Jazz said, faking the sadness that was seeping through his voice, Prowl knew Jazz wouldn't be alone, even though he hasn't known him long, he knows Jazz can make friends like it was second nature to him.
"No, Jazz. I'm not into parties." Prowl said.
"'Red will be alone" Jazz added, hiding a smirk at Red Alert's "Hey!".
Prowl was about to refuse again, but then thought of Red Alert, he knew Jazz would have convinced him to go already, or he wouldn't be calling him now.
A sigh escaped him before he replied. "Fine..." He said, glancing back to keep an optic on Bluestreak, he could be mischievous sometimes, and he blamed Jazz for it too, "Only because I don't want to leave Red Alert alone." He added quickly at the shout of joy on Jazz's end.
Jazz only chuckled before saying, "Well, ah'm glad ya comin', I'll meet ya at 'Reds house at 6 and we can go togetha." He said, before closing the connection. The screen buzzed before going black and Prowl stood there with his mouth parted. He wasn't able to get a word in and now Jazz was gone. Sighing with a shake of his head, he looked over to Bluestreak with a small smile.
"It looks like I'm going to a party, 'Blue." He said, walking over to the small, giggling sparkling before kneeling beside him. He was slightly nervous tonight, though he dose have all day to think about it and calm himself before the party, he still couldn't shake the feeling that something was going to happen.
Prowl let a sigh escape him, he shouldn't worry himself, he was sure he would be fine, all he had to do now was find a way to ask his mother to look after Bluestreak for the night. That was the hard part because she wasn't a femme that liked her nights disturbed, though hopefully she would be willing for this time.
AN: Sorry for the slow and slightly short chapter, but that was the best I could do and after going through a minor writer's block and redoing it a couple of times doesn't help. But, the next chapter will come out sooner and I will try to not make you guys wait as I know how frustrating it is. Also sorry for the mistakes if you see any.
Thank you for reading!
