December 1st, X784
A sandy-haired man, around the age of 35 from the looks of him, stood on a hilltop overlooking Onibus Town. By his side stood an twelve-year-old girl, red hair down to her shoulders, arms clutching an egg. "So, Mr. Lundson, this building is worth 75,000 Jewels." The small man timidly said, looking down at his feet.
Patrick Lundson, former member of Quatro Cerberus and Archer Requip mage, looked up at the building before down at the girl, smiling. The girl, his daughter, Melody Lundson, Sound Dragon Slayer, looked back up at him. "Are you sure about this, Pop? I sorta miss Bacchus and the others." She pouted, looking up at the dank building that stood in front of them.
Patrick sighed. He knew that Bacchus had been the closest besides himself to the girl and it hurt to see her like this. However, Twilight Ogre over in Magnolia was getting too big for its britches since Fairy Tail's stronger members were killed. By starting up this guild, Patrick hoped to take some of the flow of jobs from Twilight Ogre in order to have honorable mages to do the job. Patrick knelt by his daughter, placing a hand on her head.
"We'll see Bacchus again, pup. It's not like we're that far away. Besides, we'll get to meet a whole bunch of people and get even wilder." Patrick grinned at the dragon, who sniffed before grinning too. Patrick turned to the timid seller.
"We'll take it!" Patrick declares. The timid seller gasps before smiling in relief. "Did you say you were going to start up a guild?" The young man asked, taking the pouch of money from Patrick and stowing it away. Patrick nodded, holding out his hand and grabbing a plaque and arrow from his requip space.
"That's right. We're going to do our best and help this town out!" He declared, stabbing the arrow through the plaque and into the wood of the building. "That's the promise of the Frozen Claw guild!"
On the plaque stood the symbol of the new guild. A three-fingered claw with icicles flowing down from it.
And that day marked a new era in the history of Onibus.
