Hello everyone! It's Ulqui here! And today, the next chapter of JOSLP has finally arrived!

Usually, I would write some random stuff around here, but I moved it to the after-chapter AN.

And with that, let's dive in into Chapter 6!

Chapter 6

"So this contact of yours… Are you sure we can trust him?"

Jaune Arc and Tukson were walking on the streets of Vale as they went toward their destination known simply as 'The Club' which was owned by Hei Xiong, or better known as 'Junior'. Jaune had been at the club from time to time to check up on Junior. Tukson made sure that he hid a small pistol that he procured within his desk in his office underneath his clothing, and he managed to change into a brown hoodie so that his ears will be concealed underneath the hood. Jaune left his sword behind in his team's dorm room in fear of running into someone who knows his identity. Both of them managed to prepare themselves before they met at Tukson's Book Trade in case they encounter any hostiles later on.

"Yeah. Even though he is infamous for being an information broker that mainly works with criminals. His true allegiance lies to me alone." As they momentarily stopped walking, Jaune turned his attention to Tukson as he gave him a small grin. "Before you agreed to work for me before your rescue, Junior was my only source of information regarding the White Fang, which has some use but because he is not a White Fang member or more specifically a high ranking member, I was unable to obtain highly classified information until you came along. I and a friend of my parents usually went there as he forced me to come with him ever since I was 10. My partnership between me and Junior started when I was 11. The family friend was too drunk to even properly hear our conversation. I simply asked him whether he knows information about the White Fang, he asked me why someone as young as me would want to know about these things, and I did the most logical thing that I had done at the time. I sucker punched him in the face." Tukson gave him a look of disbelief.

"You actually punched him in the face?!" Jaune nodded in response while he laughed silently as he remembered the surprised look on Junior's face before he lost consciousness.

"Yeah, one of my greatest accomplishments at that age. Anyways, when Junior came to, he simply laughed out loud and he said to me 'Damn kid, you got balls!' Afterwards, we simply negotiated a deal and we have been partners ever since. When the time comes, the White Fang will suffer heavy losses thanks to me." Tukson gave him a fearful stare as he slowly leaned away from Jaune.

"You… want to exterminate the White Fang?" He said with a bit of hesitation. Jaune stared at the ground with a dark look on his face.

"Well… Not exactly." They continued to walk towards the Club. "I am only after… certain members. Most of them are high ranking members. I won't spare you any of the details but I assure you that I will not kill most of the innocent members. Although if they get in the way, I will not hesitate to get my hands dirty." Jaune said as they walked closer towards their destination.

After a certain amount of time, they managed to reach the front entrance of The Club. Jaune turned to Tukson and he placed his right index finger on his lips, which signaled Tukson to stay quiet and act casual. As they entered the building, they saw numerous patrons that were on the dance floor, on the bar counter, or on the various tables surrounding the dance floor. The sound of techno music and the flashes of Red and White surround the room as women dressed in very revealing clothing danced in certain areas as pole dancers. Jaune and Tukson turned their heads to look at each other, nodded, and they headed out towards the bar counter, where Junior was usually located. Jaune saw that Junior was not near the bar so Jaune decided to go to Junior's office around the back. Before they could get too close to the door, Tukson suddenly pulled Jaune towards the wall.

"W-What's wrong?!" Jaune asked before Tukson shushed him as he took a peek at the door to Junior's office.

"Kid, for our own safety just stay quiet." Tukson whispered to him as he gestured towards the door to the office. Following his instructions, Jaune also took a peek as he observed the inside of the office. He saw 6 people, 3 male and 3 female, are having a conversation inside.

The first male that Jaune took notice was a bearded man with black hair wearing a white dress shirt with a black vest over the top with a red tie. He was also wearing black gloves and black dress pants. The look on his face shows a hint of fear and annoyance as he talked with the group. This was Hei 'Junior' Xiong, Jaune's first contact regarding the White Fang. Jaune turned his attention to Tukson, who was still dancing.

"What's the problem Tukson? Junior is right there!" Jaune exclaimed to Tukson before he pulled Jaune towards him.

"He's not the problem. The only problem is the people that he is currently talking to!" Tukson whispered to him as they observed two people whom Jaune was familiar with.

First was a man with orange hair who was wearing a black bowler hat, a white suit, black pants and shoes. As Jaune tried his best to get a clearer view of the orange-haired man's face, he sighed to himself in irritation as he remembered who the man was.

"Oh great… Not this bastard again…" Jaune muttered to himself. The orange-haired man's name was Roman Torchwick, an infamous criminal who led his own crime syndicate. Wanted for numerous offences like murder and theft, he is often known to betray his allies once he has no need for their services. He and Roman had an… interesting relationship. The both of them never encountered each other as enemies while they were doing their duties, yet six months before, they first met on a strip poker game, which ended up with Roman buck naked, and his henchmen beaten up as Jaune walked out with all of their cash. Ever since then, the both of them made an agreement to meet for a few games of poker at least once or twice a week, that usually ended up with the same result as their first meeting.

"You know him?" Tukson asked Jaune.

"Who wouldn't know him nowadays? His name's Roman Torchwick. An alright criminal, yet terrible poker player." Jaune replied with a small snort while Tukson stared at him in confusion.

"Poker?"

"I'll tell you later." Jaune shook his head as he returned his attention towards Roman and the group he is with.

The other person right next to Roman was a short woman who seems to be carrying a parasol. Strangely, her hair color is a mixture of brown on one side, and pink with white streaks on the other. Her outfit consisted of a white jacket with a black corset underneath it, black pants and gray boots. Jaune remembered seeing her near Roman every time we went to play, and that she kept staring at him with a weird look every single damn time which lasted until our game ended, which usually made him very uncomfortable. He recalled Roman calling her 'Neopolitan' or 'Neo' for short a few times.

Now the next three people were a mystery to him, as he had never seen them throughout his entire life, nor had he ever heard or read about them. The first of the three was a young man with neck-length gray hair who was wearing a two-tone gray and black colored jacket, what appears to be two separate pairs of braces that cover his forearms and upper arms, black and gray pants, and black shoes. The posture and the face that he was making made Jaune to come up with a conclusion that he was bored out of his mind like he expected a fight about now.

Next to him was a dark-skinned woman with short green hair. She was wearing an exotic white top with an olive green undershirt that did little to cover most of her upper body. She was also wearing white pants with a brown belt and chaps that end at her calves and black high-heeled shoes. Like the gray-haired man next to her, she too was bored.

Finally, the other woman looked like a super model. She had ashen-black hair with bright amber eyes, and she wore an off-the-shoulders red dress with yellow designs and a pair of dark, high-heeled shoes. As Jaune took a good look on her face, he could see that she thinks of herself as a higher being than everyone else in the world. Whoever this person was, she was very arrogant, and she has the power to show it.

"Do you know these people Tukson?" Jaune asked.

"Yeah. The White Fang actually helped Roman and his little girlfriend over there with heists that revolve around dust robberies. The other three I don't really know but they, along with Roman, Neo, and a member named Adam Taurus held meetings a few times within a private room. About what exactly? I don't know. But when it involves one of the most infamous criminals within Vale, and one of the White Fang's most skilled and respected members it is about something big." Tukson answered back as Jaune frowned as they continued to observe them. Jaune had not gotten the time to look at the files that Tukson gave him, and Junior's past info was a bit lacking at times but if this Adam had a great reputation and had the skills to show it, then he was a big of a threat as the three enigmatic figures in front of him. Roman and Neo alone though…

Suddenly, Jaune sensed a group of people entering the building. When he turned his attention towards the entrance, he saw a squad of 6 armed men and women faunus donning Grimm masks, and black jumpsuits with white armor on their upper bodies. He turned back, and he saw the three figures slowly walking towards the door. Had we been compromised already?!

'Shit… This isn't good… Not now!'

Moments earlier…

"Roman, most of my men are imprisoned thanks to you! I can't give you any more support at this time!" Junior Xiong angrily muttered to the infamous criminal. The last time he let Torchwick "borrow" his men, they were beaten up by a 15-year old academy student and sent to jail by one of Beacon Academy's famed professors.

"Come on, Junior! It was just one botched job! Give me another chance!" Said Torchwick as he lit up a cigar that Neo gave him. He was always fond of her, even though she can be a pain in the ass at times. It was then that Neo suddenly stepped down on his foot. Hard. Roman gritted his teeth as he fell down to the ground clutching his injured foot as the green-haired woman and gray-haired man began to snicker behind his back. They were named Emerald Sustrai and Mercury Black respectively. Neo however was silently laughing as she pointed at him and gave him a look that said 'I may not have heard it, but I know what you are thinking.' As Emerald, Mercury and Neo composed themselves, the woman in red narrowed her eyes at Junior, which made him feel uneasy. Junior gasped in surprise as the woman in red suddenly pulled him towards her by his red tie.

"Now you listen here… The sight of your men who were beaten by an academy student out of all people shows that they are weak. I need strong men for my cause, and the current situation is not helping at all." With every word she blurted out, Junior's anxiety grew and grew. "If I were you, I would suggest investing more money for stronger men who have more experience and skill when compared to what you currently have if you want our partnership to continue." It was then that Junior's fear was near its breaking point as he started to sweat bullets. It was then that the black-haired woman suddenly gave off a seductive smirk as she trailed her hand on Junior's chest while she used her right hand to caress Junior's left cheek. "If you manage to do so… You will be rewarded… VERY accordingly." As she finished her sentence, Roman's face flustered a bit as she said the same thing to him when they were negotiating a deal between them. Neo, whose left eye was twitching out of annoyance, stomped hard on Roman's beloved jewels, which earned a few snickers between Emerald and Mercury and a sadistic smile of satisfaction from Neo herself.

"Damn it, Neo!" Roman muttered out to Neo in pain as she gave him a look that said 'That's what you get, you dirty pervert!' After a few more seconds, Junior gulped and he nodded at her.

"I… I'll do my best to find better men. Now could you please let me go Cinder?" Junior asked her before she complied and moved away from him with that sexy look still on her face. Cinder Fall was the woman's name and whatever plans that she had that include his men, Torchwick, and the White Fang, Junior knew that it is a bit too ambitious. It was then her head suddenly turned towards the door that leads back to the main area and frowned, almost as if she sensed that something was amiss. Cinder then turned her attention to Emerald before Cinder leaned towards her ear.

"Signal unit Bear to enter the building and scan the area for any anomalies. It seems that we have an unwanted guest observing us." She said to Emerald before she complied with Cinder's request and she sent a message to the Bear unit of the White Fang relaying Cinder's orders to them. It was then Cinder gestured the rest of the group, excluding Junior, to walk outside the room to find the people who overheard their conversation.

"Kid. If you got an idea on how to hide from the people that are trying to find us, now's the time!" Tukson whispered out to Jaune, who was looking around the area to find a hiding place for the both of them, but the only safe way that they can do so is to use a distraction. After he looked around some more, Jaune suddenly looked right near the bar and he suddenly had an idea. An idea so illogical, so stupid, so reckless, so ingenious that Jaune was sure that this was the best way to get out of any situation. He then turned his head to Tukson with a shit-eating grin on his face.

"Psst! I have an idea, but I need you to trust me on this one." Jaune whispered to Tukson as he stared at him in confusion.

"What do you mean I need to-" was what Tukson tried to say to Jaune before he was interrupted.

"There's no time! Just answer the fucking question!" Jaune said to him before Tukson simply nodded. Jaune, with his right hand, then pulled out a small remote out of his pocket which can activate or deactivate the building's power while he pulled out a few flashbang grenades with his left hand. He pressed the button of the remote…

…and chaos ensures.

As the Bear Unit of the White Fang moved in closer to the bar, and as Cinder and her group were about to exit Junior's office, the power suddenly went off, which made the patrons of the establishment frightened. Suddenly, a loud yet brief bang was heard along with a blinding flash of light, which heavily affected the White Fang members' sense of sight. As the patrons thought that a terrorist attack was taking place, they panicked and they ran towards the main entrance as they unknowingly stampeded over the Bear Unit. As the last of the patrons ran away to the exit, the power suddenly turned back on. When Cinder and her group exited Junior's office, they saw the sight of the Bear unit lying flat on the ground, their uniforms torn up, their Grimm masks cracked, and have numerous bruises along their bodies while Junior's men were left standing at their posts dumbfounded by the events that recently occured. Cinder palmed her face in irritation while the others were laughing at the sight, or silently laughing at Neo's case.

"Emerald, Mercury, Neopolitan. Take the Bear Unit back to the nearest White Fang base for treatment. We're leaving." Said Cinder as they complied with her order. Each of them carried two members of the Bear Unit as they walked towards the exit with Roman not far from them. Cinder then turned her attention towards the bar counter and she walked towards it. She tried to check from behind the counter but she was not able to see anything out of the ordinary before she caught up with Roman and the others. After they had walked a certain distance away from the building, one of the cardboard boxes within the alcohol supply, which was located just on the right side when facing behind the counter, suddenly went up with two pairs of legs sticking out from the bottom side. The cardboard box then went up even further to find out that Jaune and Tukson were both hiding inside a cardboard box during the power outage. They discarded the box before Tukson stared at Jaune with a dumbfounded look on his face.

"Kid, I don't know whether I should applaud you or slap you for that idea of yours. I mean, the power outage and the flashbangs are a good call but hiding inside a cardboard box? Really?!" Tukson said as Jaune simply gave him a grin in response.

"Yup." He replied

"What even made you think of using a cardboard box in the first place?!" Asked Tukson. Jaune opened his mouth to reply, but he suddenly closed it.

"You know… I really don't know." Jaune said as Tukson palmed his face in annoyance.

"… You're my hero, kid." Tukson said to him as Jaune began to chuckle slowly.

"Heh, heh, heh, heh…" It was then that Junior exited his office. As he saw Jaune and Tukson standing near the bar, he rolled his eyes with slight amusement.

"No wonder why the power went out…. And why I have no customers anymore." Junior said, which caught the attention of the two men. Jaune walked up to Junior, reached into one of his pockets, and gave him a check which Jaune signed himself.

"This should cover today's expenses… I hope." Jaune said. Junior shook his head as he tried to give the check back to Jaune.

"You don't need to do that, Jaune." Junior said. "I can pay for it myself, you are the first investor of this fine establishment after all." It was Jaune's turn to shake his head as he gave it back to Junior.

"Nuh-uh. From your posture and the look of your face, I can definitely tell that you had a lot of shit to deal with this past week." Jaune replied as Junior sighed to himself before he hid the check in his office before he returned to Jaune. Tukson then decided to speak up.

"Wait… Jaune? This deal that you made with Junior before… Does it have anything to do with you being the first investor of Junior's club? Tukson asked Jaune before he nodded in response to Tukson's question.

"Yeah. I err…'borrowed' some of Ozwald's money from his bank account. I also have access to the Arc Clan's fortune." Jaune said as he grabbed his scroll from his pocket, and showed the screen to Tukson and Junior, which displayed the combination of the amount of money that he embezzled from Ozpin and the entirety of the Arc family fortune. Tukson started to cough uncontrollably out of shock while Junior simply stared at the screen with wide eyes for a few seconds before he began to laugh uncontrollably.

"D-Damn kid! With that amount of money, you would put the Atlesian military and the Schnee Dust Company to shame!" Tukson said to Jaune with surprise in his voice, while Junior simply gave Jaune a smirk.

"Embezzling cash from the head of Beacon Academy himself? Damn, I am such a good bad influence on you." Jaune returned Junior's smirk with his own as he placed his scroll back inside his pocket.

"Not just you. Qrow also corrupted me into drinking booze at a young age. After all, he kept on forcing me to go with him to drink here before he started taking missions from the other 3 kingdoms. Mostly around Atlas for some reason. Something about 'annoying the hell out of a certain ice queen' whatever that means." Jaune said. Junior gestured to both Jaune and Tukson to sit down near the counter as he made some martinis for the three of them.

"So that's why he does not come around here as often as he would have liked…" Junior said as he gave a martini to each of them before he raised his drink to the air. "Cheers."

"Cheers!" Both Tukson and Jaune shouted out in response before the three of them downed their drinks.

"So where are the twins, Junior?" Asked Jaune as Junior simply gave him a teasing grin.

"Why are you asking? Is it because you are worried about them, or is it because they might suddenly try to bed you again?" Tukson laughed out loud when he heard the second part while Jaune blushed, his face was as red as Pyrrha's hair.

"S-Shut up!" Jaune hastily replied before he recalled the past memories that he had with Melanie and Miltiades Malachite, both of whom were twins. Both of them were identical when it comes to eye and hair color, being pale green and black respectively. Miltiades or Miltia for short had short hair and wore a red strapless dress with black lining, a black bow tied around her waist, some sort of black fur coat hanging off her shoulders red gloves, and red boots with high stiletto heels. Melanie had long hair and she wore a white dress with cyan lining, a white feather scarf, white gloves, and white boots with blades around the heels. In terms of personality, Melanie was the more confident, arrogant and talkative of the two while Miltia was shy, polite and silent. Ever since Jaune first came to Junior's bar back when it was a very small bar, the twins had shown great interest for him, and they kept on working hard just to gain his attention to their advances. They were so desperate, that they had once drugged him to knock him unconscious, tied him up on their bed, and when he came to, he woke up to the sight of the two sisters making out with each other while they were wearing lacy lingerie. Luckily, Junior managed to reach their room in time to stop them from taking away his virginity by force, although Junior took a heavy beating from the twins while Jaune stealthily exited the building. Jaune shuddered as the memories of the incident were coming back to him. He never wanted to experience something like that again.

"In all seriousness though, they were on vacation on Vacuo about a week ago. They should arrive back in Vale tomorrow." Jaune sighed to himself in relief as he would be able to leave the building without someone trying to sleep with him for once. Junior gave the two another round before he headed back towards his office.

"I'll be right back. Going to check up on the twins, see if they are alright." Junior said before he closed the door and locked it. After about a few more seconds, one of Junior's henchmen suddenly barged through the main entrance with a panicked look on his face.

"Brace yourselves! The Blonde Bombshell is coming!" All of the henchmen started to panic once they heard the words 'Blonde Bombshell', some of them even tried to knock each other unconscious. Tukson and Jaune had looks of confusion etched on their faces due to the behavior of the henchmen. It was then Jaune widened his eyes in surprise.

'There's only one blonde bombshell that I know of… that's not Goodwitch.' Jaune turned his attention to Tukson and said, "Pretend you didn't see anything!" Jaune then proceeded to jump over the bar counter and ducked under it. Tukson just stared at the counter in confusion when smoke was emitted from where Jaune was hiding.

"K-kid?!" Tukson said before the main entrance doors was suddenly blown away with a loud bang. A familiar pair of lilac eyes entered the building with a huge grin on her face.

"Gentlemen… Yang Xiao Long has entered the building!" Yang screamed out as Jaune widened his eyes.

'Xiao Long?! I can't believe that I just realized that Yang is Taiyang's daughter!' Jaune berated himself for his ignorance before the smoke cleared out and showed Jaune disguised as Junior. He was able to make his disguise look exactly like the real deal thanks to an added feature for his scroll that he procured from one of the Atlesian ships that was docked within Vale during the previous Vytal Festival that can let him disguise as anyone for a few minutes. The disguise was a virtually-perfect copy of the original including the tone of the person's voice. Only problem is that Jaune's disguise can be easily broken if he was suddenly hit by a powerful force like landing on the hard ground while freefalling, or in this case one of Yang's punches. As Jaune stood up, Tukson was confused before he saw 'Junior' winking at him before he understood what was going on and nodded slightly at Jaune. Jaune turned his attention away from Tukson before he was suddenly staring right at Yang's eyes, and as a reflex action, Jaune flinched backwards in surprise.

"I saw the way you were staring at that guy over there, Junior. I didn't know you swing that way." Yang said as she tried to tease 'Junior' or at least to annoy him. Now in any normal situation, Jaune would have tried his best to keep his distance between him and any female besides Goodwitch in a good mood, Beacon's local doctor and a few others, but since he was under a disguise, he tried his best to keep in character. Jaune gave her a grunt of annoyance.

"What do you want…err…Blondie?" Jaune said. "You here to blow this place up again or what?' When he and Junior were making conversation with each other by Scroll, Junior mentioned an incident that occurred a few months ago when a woman with long blonde hair went to him to gather information about someone before she went on the rampage which ended up with Junior, the Twins, and his henchmen beaten up and the Club suffered moderate to heavy damage. He automatically assumed that Yang was perpetrator, because the physical descriptions between the two were too similar to each other. Yang simply shrugged in response.

"Nope. I'm just here to celebrate the fact that I've officially become a Beacon Academy huntress-in-training!" She said as she pumped her fist in the air in excitement. Jaune managed to prevent himself from smiling with her as he was also made an official Beacon Academy hunter-in-training.

"Is that so? Then what will you have then? My treat, just because I do not want to ruin your good mood tonight." Jaune said as Yang raised her eyebrow in response.

"My, my. You are acting more like a gentleman when compared to our last meeting. But since you insist, give me one strawberry sunrise with no ice and with one of those little umbrellas." As Jaune heard the order, he blinked. Strawberry Sunrise was his first drink, and was his first recipe that he learned from Junior, and ever since then it became his favorite drink. He gave off a small grin as he gathered the ingredients needed to make the drink.

"One Strawberry Sunrise coming right up!" Before Jaune proceeded to make the drink, Junior suddenly came back from the office.

"Alright, I'm back. The twins were asking if they could…. Err…" Junior said as he stared at 'Junior' with a blank expression who stared back at him, Yang stared back and forth between the two of them in confusion and slight anger. Jaune was in panic mode within his mind, so he said the first thought that came to his mind.

"…. Shit." Jaune then dropped a flashbang that detonated as soon as it fell down to the floor. With Yang temporarily blinded, Jaune used this chance to remove his disguise and to escape from the area as far away as possible. As Yang managed to restore her sight, she looked around the room to barely find Jaune's figure running out towards the entrance. For some reason, Yang decided to follow him, which left the real Junior and Tukson staring at the destroyed entrance.

"… So that was Jaune right?" Said Junior.

"… Yup." Replied Tukson.

"… And the other person was Yang Xiao Long?"

"… That's what I heard when she screamed her name out… So yeah."

"… And it just so happens that Jaune disguised himself as me while I was in my office?"

"… Yeah."

"…. Huh… So while the kid is not here, you uhh… Want to drink some whiskey with me?"

"… Sure, why not? I need a strong one for now with all the craziness that has been going on."

And it was this moment that Junior and Tukson became drinking buddies for life.

Jaune was panicking in his head as he ran as fast as he can. He could not let anyone know of what he was doing these past 7 years of his life, and Yang was no exception. He stopped running and looked back to check whether Yang was following him and was relieved that she was not behind him. Once he turned his head back ahead, his anxiety began to reemerge as he saw the beautiful face of Yang Xiao Long who was standing just a few feet away from him. He was thankful that he was still wearing the hood from his coat.

'Okay, Jaune. One wrong move and she'll unleash hell. Don't fuck it up!' Jaune thought before he secretly activated his scroll so that he could hide his true voice from Yang. Yang's look on her face showed curiosity and… Desperation?

"It's not every day that someone was able to perfectly disguise himself as Junior. Why did you do it?" Asked Yang as Jaune managed to relax his posture a bit.

"If you really want to know, I have my orders to observe suspicious activity being reported in Hei Xiong's establishment, and of course he gave me his consent to look around his bar. I am a… detective after all." Jaune said before he mentally slapped himself for saying that. 'Now look what you've done, you idiot! You're just making the situation worse!' Yang merely raised an eyebrow.

"And that also includes the whole disguise thing?" Jaune rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

"… Not really. But that's not why you're here talking to me is it?" Yang nodded at Jaune's question before she reached out into her right pocket and she pulled out a picture of four people. Two male, and two female.

"Well… I've been looking for this woman throughout my life." She pointed to the woman with black hair. "Have you ever seen her before?" Asked Yang. Jaune stared closely at the woman for a few seconds before his eyes widened slightly in realization.

'... Aunt Raven?!' Jaune exclaimed out in his mind. It was indeed Raven Branwen, sister of Qrow Branwen and first wife of Taiyang Xiao Long, which meant that the four people that were shown in the picture were Team STRQ, the team in which Raven, Taiyang and Qrow were in. The only person whom he never met before shown in the picture was the woman with the white robe but he was sure that she could be Ruby's mother as the woman with a white robe basically looked like an older Ruby. He first met Qrow when he, Ozpin, Glynda and some other dude from Atlas decided that I would be in the care of Ozpin and Glynda until he turns 21. Shortly afterwards, Jaune first met Aunt Raven while he locked himself in one of Beacon's bedrooms. Finally, he first met Taiyang during Jaune's first mission when he was 13 where they were sent to investigate a settlement that was attacked by Grimm at that point.

The resemblance between Yang and Aunt Raven was shown by their facial features and their hair styles. The only difference besides the hair color are the fact that Raven's natural eye color was crimson red while Yang's eye color was lilac. In the picture, Raven was wearing her usual outfit, which consisted of a black and red dress, a pair of matching gautlents and thigh-length boots. She was also carrying her weapon, which was basically a big ass sword. Jaune then decided to take his attention away from the picture in order for him to speak to Yang.

"… I have never seen her in my entire life." He lied to her, while he was trying to prevent making body movements that showed otherwise. "Why do you want to find her?" Jaune was surprised when he could see a small tear coming out of Yang's right eye as she stared at the broken moon in the sky.

"… She's my mother. She just left home shortly after my birth and she severed contact with her friends and even her own family. Ever since then it became my childhood dream that she would come back so that we could live like a true family." She sobbed out as more tears started to flow out of her eyes. "It's already been 17 years, and still she would not come back! I need answers! I will not rest until I find her!" She screamed out as she suddenly hugged Jaune, which made his body tense up. "If you can… can you help me find her, detective?" She asked him. Jaune was having difficulty whether he should help Yang or not as he made a promise to Aunt Raven that he should keep Yang from finding her, but when Jaune saw that look on Yang's face where the tears kept coming, he could see the pain that she stored within her throughout her entire life and that's what made him feel conflicted about it.

"I… I…" Jaune muttered out. 'Jaune! Do not make this worse than it should' Jaune screamed out within his mind. "I'll do my best to try and find your mother." 'Oh, for fuck sakes!'

"You… You mean it?" Said Yang as her tears stopped flowing. Jaune hesitantly nodded as Yang wiped her eyes with her arm.

"… I never leave a case unsolved. Now can you let me go? My back is starting to ache…" Yang then let Jaune go from her grip and she gave him a sincere smile.

"T-Thank you… Umm… What's your name?" Yang asked. Jaune started brainstorming for a bit before he replied back to her.

"I can't tell you my real name just yet, but you can call me… Yami no Kishi. Or Yami for short." Jaune or in this case Yami said to Yang. She stared at him in confusion.

"Yami no… Kishi?"

"It roughly translates to 'Knight of Darkness'. It's based of an ancient language that was not commonly used for many centuries now." Jaune said. "So… You still up for free drinks at Junior's Club?" He asked Yang, who gave him a small nod.

"Yeah. Not too much though, I still have classes tomorrow, which sucks a bit." Yang replied. Jaune then looked towards a dark alleyway before he looked back at Yang.

"I got a call that I need to make. Could you wait here for a few minutes?" As Yang nodded, Jaune proceeded to the alleyway before he deactivated the voice disguiser and used his scroll to call Tukson. "Tukson. You there?" He whispered at the phone so that Yang would not be able to hear their conversation.

"Hey… *hic* …kid! Where did you… *hic* …go?!" Tukson said, who is obviously heavily intoxicated. Jaune pinched his nose as he sighed in annoyance.

"… You guys got drunk without me?!" Jaune said, as he thought on how he missed all the fun.

"Kid! I only drank a little. Your friend here decided to drown his sorrows over here. Who is he, by the way? He looks like he has seen some shit." Jaune heard Junior screaming at the phone.

"His name's Tukson." Jaune replied.

"T-Tukson?! That rogue White Fang member?! Kid, the people whom I was talking to before you guys came told me that they are going to find him so that they can 'eliminate the threat'. If you really need this guy, you need a place to hide him, stat!" Junior screamed out. Jaune still managed to keep a calm face as he prepared for that possibility. Jaune knew someone who can help hide Tukson, and he managed to convince that someone to give Tukson shelter. But first, he needed a plan on how to fake Tukson's death.

"Let me handle that one, Junior. For now, Yang and I are going back to the Club for some drinks. And don't worry, we won't get too drunk as we both have classes tomorrow." Jaune said.

"If you say so kid. Just make sure she behaves this time. Oh, did she beat you up?"

"Nah. Our conversation went smoothly, but I had to act as a detective while using a voice changer in order for me to hide my identity. She's my classmate, and I do not want her or anyone of my friends from Beacon to get involved. Compared to me, they are way more innocent than I am." Junior just laughed when he heard the part about Jaune acting as a detective.

"Oh man. Is your detective alias 'Nick Valentine'?! HAH! That name reminds me of those old noir movies that I love watching."

"No but… Yeah, it really sounds like the name of the main character of a noir flick. See you there Junior, and make sure Tukson does not drink anymore." Jaune said before he hung up from the call and he headed back to Yang while activating the voice changer. "So, Miss Xiao Long… You want to have a few drinks?" Yang gave him a smile as she nodded in approval.

"Of course, Yami! And call me Yang." She said. They proceeded to walk back to Junior's club. Jaune would not admit it to other people, but he enjoyed his talk with Yang, even though he disguised himself as someone else not once, but twice which made him a bit guilty for manipulating Yang. 'When the time comes… I'll get rid of my fear, and I'll help Yang reconcile with Aunt Raven. An Arc never goes back on his word, and I intend to keep it that way.' Jaune told himself in his mind as he smiled. Meanwhile on the top of the rooftops, a certain black-haired woman was observing the two teens walking. She smiled even as she took off her Grimm mask, which revealed red eyes and a familiar smile before she disappeared in a black portal.

'So that's how it is going to be, huh? Fine. It's about time Yang and I have a little chat.'

And that was the end of the chapter! I have to be honest guys, this chapter was a bitch. I would suddenly come up with a seemingly cool idea, but then I suddenly think otherwise and then I have to scrap it. Like a fight scene, in which I promised last chapter, but then I suddenly realized that I suck in writing good fighting scenes so I just decided to move the Yang vs. Jaune fight maybe possibly during one of Glynda's Combat Classes. D: I also uploaded this chapter without showing it to my beta, so there might be a few mistakes here which will be eventually corrected. Also, as for Yami's voice. Imagine it as the voice of Stephen Russell. The guy who voiced many NPCs is Skyrim, most notably Mercer Frey, and the Mr. Handys and Nick Valentine from Fallout.

The poll has been closed and it looks like the Bleach story came first with 5 votes, the KH Time Travel fic and and the Tales of the Abyss/Kingdom Hearts crossover tied at 3 points, the Metal Gear fic has 2, The Fallout and Naruto fic have 1 vote and the LiS fic has no votes at all... D:

There is one reference each from Mass Effect and Fallout. One is obvious, one is not so obvious (Depends on how much you know about those games).

Speaking of Mass Effect, I decided to write a story regarding Mass Effect. I recently jumped in the ME bandwagon and I can tell you that what an amazing video game series it is. As for its ending, it was good enough for me to enjoy it. Although I am having trouble whether I should make a crossover or just a standalone story. So I decided to upload a poll from which I am aware is only accessible for those with accounts and are on their computers or tablets. Just as long as you use the desktop version of the site, you can pretty much vote in the poll posted in my profile. They are:

A Mass Effect/Fallout 4 crossover. The Sole Survivor, instead of heading straight to the Institute, is sent into the ME Universe when the relay suddenly malfunctions.

A Mass Effect/Metal Gear Solid crossover where Venom Snake is also sent into the ME Universe after [SPOILER ALERT] he was killed by Solid Snake during the events of MG2

A Mass Effect/Ben 10 crossover where Ben Tennyson, some time after the Ultimate Alien episode "The Ultimate Enemy", was suddenly called by Paradox to save another universe, which is the ME Universe

A Mass Effect fic which shows the adventure of my Shepard (Default Male!Shep because I am a lazy dick) throughout the entire trilogy.

Yeah the former 3 fics are all set during ME2, which is SO original... *Insert sarcastic face here.* But I just thought that they could be good ideas so yeah. Please vote!

And kind of spoilers for this fic, I might change the backstory of one of RWBY's beloved characters. This is a huge giveaway but for those who already finished the story of Fallout 4, you guys can probably guess where I am going with this. There is another one, but I am keeping that a secret.

I'll see you guys next time, please Rate and Review, and feel free to give me tips and advise for my writing skills. I really need the last part the most. Bye!
