Hey guys, Flipkicks here and today I bring you a new chapter for "The Reaper's Memories", thank you all checking out the story and what of the previous chapter.

Since I've been having some trouble with the fight scene between Tier and Starrk, I thought of something with the 'Can't Fear Your Own World' storyline being integrated into the story (please note that I wrote this story before the CFYOW became a reality.)

"We need to figure out why we're losing some of the best Soul Reapers we have here!" Shunsui yells in an irritated tone. He knows that losing some Soul Reapers is part of the job but these were the War Heroes of the Winter Wars and the Blood War from Kisuke Urahara, Yoruichi Shihoin, Rukia Kuchiki, Renji Abarai, Isshin Shiba Kurosaki, and the War Hero Ichigo Kurosaki. But he is also trying to calm the Arrancars/Hollows due to the 'lost' of Tier Halibel and her Faccion since they were the de facto leaders of Hueco Mundo.

"But sir, we still haven't figured out the portals that have been out of control." One of his lieutenant response back, "Mayuri has been doing his best trying to figure out the portals but every time we looked at one of them, the portal would disappear."

This makes the Captain Commander sigh, pinching his forehead as this since they lost Ichigo Kurosaki, Isshin Kurosaki, Yoruichi Shihoin and Kisuke Urahara years ago but now they lost more of their Soul Reapers and the Arrancar Queen.

"Have him continue searching for ways to get them back or even the coordinates of this portal. Its been too bloody long since the damn war and all these setbacks have been getting rather annoying." Shunsui ordered and the Lieutenant would take his leave while his top lieutenant, Nanao enters the roo. "So what have you found?" He asks point-blank.

"Clan Leader, Tokinada Tsunayashiro seems to be involved somehow." Nanao hands him several documents of the reports that Sui-Feng wrote, "Shuhei is involved in this mess but he is also trying to find out the truth behind the former captain of Squad 9, Kaname Tosen." That draws his attention, "Seems Shuhei has been trying to figure out as to why Tosen followed Aizen during the Winter Wars."

"The question is his motive to join Aizen. While Shinji told us that he was responsible for his and the other's Hollowification, there were also some things even we don't know but maybe Shuhei will find out with both Tokinada and Tosen."

"There's also one thing that we need to keep an eye on." Shunsui raises an eyebrow as Nanao hands him another photo but instead of showing Tokinada, it was a dark-skinned, androgynous young child with red eyes and short dark hair. The child usually wears a red, shoulderless Shihakushō and is barefoot. They carry their Zanpakutō on their back, secured in place by a length of chain. "Sun-Feng could tell the child has the aura very similar to Ichigo or even the Soul King." That catches his attention, "We don't know where the child came from but we're having Sun-Feng searching the manor along with the Stealth Force."

"That child could be a dangerous one with the child being under the guidance of Tokiada," he recalls the sudden assassination of his wife's entire clan while he is the sole survivor. He could tell that there was foul play but all there was no evidence of the assassination being setup and Tokiada was later to be the head of his wife's clan. "Hopefully Sui-Feng finds something about this."

"I'm sure she will captain." Nanao spoke up, assuring the captain commander, "Tokiada has been on a very thin line due to his suspicious behavior."

"Plus we also have to keep Ichigo away from Ichibei," Shunsui recalls after the first meeting with the Captain of Squad 0, while they are doing their best to keep what's 'best for business' by keeping the death of the Soul King private from most of the captains besides Shunsui. He wanted to keep damaged control of the death of the Soul King since they wouldn't function properly without a King but he has a solution to this, using someone as a nigh-lifeless, speechless, immobile sacrificial lamb proverbially killed for the sake of the entire world, Ichigo Kurosaki.

Of course, Shunsui didn't like this plan since Ichigo was the one to save the world by stopping both Aizen in the Winter Wars and killing Yhwach in the Blood War. He knows that Ichigo has done a lot for the Soul Society and should get a chance to live a normal life after dealing with world-ending events and shouldn't be used as a tool by Squad 0.

"Seems we'll be dealing with Tokiada's force, Squad 0 and presumably whoever Ichigo Kurosaki is dealing with." Nanao added, "I don't know why but I have a feeling that we're dealing with old foes captain."

"You're not the only one. Seems that most of the Gotei Captains and LT's have been getting that feeling since the day Ichigo and his group of friends were considered MIA."

"Perhaps maybe this was 'fate'?" Shunsui raises an eyebrow, "We know that Ichigo Kurosaki has been a 'unique' person since the day he came to rescue Rukia Kuchiki from her execution and also drawing out Aizen's plans. No matter the odds from the Winter Wars and the Blood War, Ichigo seems always 'fated' to win these situations and perhaps fate wanted Ichigo to be 'saved' in this situation by an unknown portal."

Even though he wasn't much of a believer in the term 'fate' but there are lots of things that could connect him to that from meeting his best friend to meeting the old man and eventually meeting the orange-haired teen that would change everything. So he might as well think that fate is looking to save him from Ichibei.

"Have you told their friends?" Shunsui asks her since he knows that Ichigo's friends are missing them and perhaps the twins since they unknowingly got dragged into this mess.

"Momo should have by now." Nanao replies, "They're still trying to figure out as to how they ended up getting pulled into one of the portals." Nanao thought of something, "Sir, while we did give them those soul tickets, they did have some traces of Ichigo Kurosaki's blood from it."

He then recalls after Winter Wars, Mayuri has always been interested in Ichigo's blood since he was a mere human with heightening Spiritual Awareness at the time before they would learn of his true heritage of being a mixture of all of them. Shinigami, Hollow, Arrancar and a Quincy Pureblood. Once they learn his heritage, some of the old guards, Central 46, wanted to take a sample of his blood but Yamamoto denied said request since Ichigo did prove himself to be a valuable ally. Of course, Mayuri took some samples of his blood that was found on the floor and Mayuri kept it a secret for a while that is until Yamamoto found out.

Yamamoto decided to have Mayuri use his blood as a means to use as a way to make Soul Tickets to bring Ichigo's friends in case if Ichigo was too strong to be in the World of the Living with Shunsui being the one to vouch for Ichigo's friends. Of course, Yamamoto wasn't too fond of the idea since most of them were too weak besides Uryu, Orihime and Chad since they were the average at best but proved valuable allies in Ichigo's group.

"Now that you mentioned it, I believe they might have it." Referring to Ichigo's friends that are still in the World of the Living. "Send a Hell Butterfly to Momo and get one of their tickets. We may have a way to find that portal." Nanao nodded her head and quickly heads out. 'Hopefully, we can at least find out where they went.' He says to himself as a member of the Stealth Force arrives in front of him. "Report."

"Sir, it would seem that Tokiada is up to something." The member hands him more photos with Tokiada and his allies, "While it did take us a while to find out but it would seem that the former Arrancars that were killed in the Winter Wars have been brought back." He sees the former Espada's of Aizen's army all beyond their original forms. "He also made several Hōgyku's and they all ascended beyond their Resurrección."

"Is he building an army?"

"No sir but for all we know is that they're in Hueco Mundo now."

"I see..." Shunsui now gets the idea of what Tokiada is up too, "The little child that he has with him. He wants that child to be King of Hueco Mundo."

"Sir?"

"It's simple from what I was told. Sui-Feng reported that this child "Hikone" has a similar aura of Ichigo Kurosaki, who we all know is a mixture of all of us, so he wants this child to take over and potentially be their destruction. While we don't know exactly what Hikone is but he will be a dangerous threat if we don't kill it." Shunsui then stands up, "Send word to Kenpachi, I'm sure that he will want something to fight and his Squad."

"At once sir." The member of the Stealth Force shunpo'ed his way out of the room.

'Shuhei, I hope you can stop this mad man.'

And that ends this short chapter. Again, I am sorry for not writing another chapter out but I've been busy with writing other stories for "A Reaper's Promise", "Fate: A Reaper's Grand Order", "The Queen's Glaive".

I also have a new job that is taking my time since normally I write at night and also writing before I go to work. I am also trying to do other things from Youtube and also trying to get into Twitch Streaming since I've always been interested in doing something like that.
