Chapter 17: Red Eyes
Drip...Drip...Oh, its the sound of the rain again.
Where am I?
Should I open my eyes? Do I have too? I really wish to be dead right now. Not to mention with what just happen with me and Natsu.

Remembering his name reminded me the pain, that deep down stabbing pain in my veins.
Where did I go wrong? Did I lack at something at some point? or maybe he just dont see me as someone that would actually love him.
I'm just his toy anyway.
I was ment to be thrown away.
From what I remember I was in the woods crying and I met that guy. What was his name again?
"I'm Sting Eucliffe. You belong to me now, Strawberry scented bunny" Now I remember. Sting was his name, but why take me?
I moved my hand still not opening my eyes while touching my side. It feels soft and warm. I must be lying on a bed. I slowly opened my eyes how long was I asleep? My clothes are still on and..
"You dont need to think like that woman" a voice spoke breaking the silence of the room. I felt the darkness at his tone.
I closed my eyes again pretending to be sleeping.
A man sitting beside me, I'm scared. frightened to his prescence.
Come on Lucy, dont be such like a 5 year old brat! Dont you wanna be dead? Kick his ass with your dynamic punch! You're gonna die anyways atleast you made something worthwhile.Are you sure? Aren't we suppose to stay calm at this desperate situation?

My inner self lighten me up. Not just because I'm ready to face dead, it does not mean that I will face it weakly I have to be strong.
"Stop pretending that you are asleep." The man said. I open my eyes and sitted there is no point of pretending.
He narrowed his crimson red eyes on me.

Oh god, He was damn handsome.I stiffened.
"W-who are you?" I asked. He was wearing a dark robe that matches her raven colored hair and his eyes. Oh god he's eyes they keep on starring at me, more like reading me. His eyes full of hate. I dont like it. I want to get out of this place. Without waiting his answer, I searched for my keys from what I know I placed it in my pocket.
Fuck. Where are my keys?! I started panicking.
"If you are looking for your keys I took them" He said like he was reading my mind.
Hell, What do I do?
"I need to be back at my guild. Give them back" I said hiding the terror in my voice.
"What makes you think I will give them back to you?" He replied. I glared my eyes at him.
"They are mine in the first place, and you stole them which it means you have to bring them back to the rightful owner."
He stood up and smirked. His face and mine are inches away I can feel his breath, he continued to move closer.
I pushed him. He was suprised at my sudden move. I ran outside. I dont know where the hell I am going I was just running. I was afraid my keys are not with me and I dont have that strenght to fight him.
I'm tired physically and mentally
Shit. Dead end. A cobblestoned wall with no side ways turn only a window and its impossible for me to jump at this high. I can already feel his presence fuck I dont wanna die like this.
"You tried to run, but its impossible for you to hide woman" He said walking straight at me.
"If you are going to say that please say it with my name."
He raised a brow.
"I dont know your name"
What the hell kidnapping me without knowing my name? Is this a joke?
"But I do know your last name. Heartfilia-san, Your parents Jude and Layla am I correct?" I nodded.
He raised both of his hands and pinned me against the wall preventing me to escape.
"H-how do you know them? Tell me who you are" He smirked.
"As the only Heartfilia alive, I want you to pay the debts of your family in our guild."
Debt? only Heartfilia alive? what the fuck is the handsome ass talking about?
"You said you know my dad. I'm not the only the one alive you know" I corrected him.
"I'm sorry to say this but your father is dead."
My heart sank.
"D-Died? W-what do you mean by that?" I manage to say as tears started to form in my eyes.
"He died a week ago due to heart attack before your engagement party things suddenly went bad for him. His only chance was to wed you to some rich guy so he can save your family bussines, From what I heard you denied it. Causing his job to crumble down. He was stressed out due to this and after awhile they found him dead." I cant take this anymore I cried. I was broken down again, after Natsu and now my dad?
This is my fault if I just accepted that engagement none of this will happen.

I kneeled down crying. The man squatted in front of me. I can still feel his red eyes looking at me. He cupped my face making me stare at his eyes while crying.
"As for the question you asked. My name is Rogue Cheney from Sabertooth"
Oh kami. Why did you punish me like this.
"Rogue.." I barely said and continued crying. I cant help it. I just can't I'm too broken down.
I'm done.
With a surprise he suddenly hugged me patting my back.
"R-Rogue why did you just.."
"Shhhh. stop crying Heartfilia"
I did not stop crying it continued anways.
"I-Its Lucy... Lucy Heartfilia" I said. He let go and faced me once again. He wiped my tears.
"Lucy Heartfilia you suddenly caught my interest. What are you going to do about it?"
