"Nya."
Ruby leapt over Weiss, who slept peacefully in the closet.
"Bla."
She leapt again, hopping over the Ice Queen with a grace only she could contain.
"Shwa."
Again, she hopped over the white-haired Schnee heiress.
"Yah- bwagh!"
Although the team of RWBY and its leader had a phenomenal amount of luck, it did not always trigger conveniently for them. In Ruby's case, her luck run out right when she needed it and ended up getting her foot caught by Weiss's plush cheek. As she fell over, Ruby let out a quiet whine as she turned to see if she woke up the Schnee.
And surely enough, Weiss was wide awake thanks to the rose of RWBY. Glaring at Ruby, Weiss puckered her lips as she shivered in anger (and pain) before suddenly remaining still. She soon fell asleep as if nothing happened.
Little did many know that Weiss was easy to bully. All that was needed to put her down were puppy eyes and a pathetic pose. Ruby knew this well and used the knowledge to her advantage wholeheartedly.
Alas, she did not want to seem like she took pleasure in manipulating Weiss. The snow angel was her friend, after all. So she decided to jump on the tiny Schnee and roll all over her in the most honest way possible.
That was enough to get Weiss chasing after Ruby.
Nora screamed incoherently as she hugged a tiny miracle with a pink streak in its dark hair.
Oum had seen it coming from a mile away, but it still baffled him to see a character based on himself sprout out to life. He stared at Lie Ren, who stared back with an equally empty look.
Ren was an interesting case of "what you see is not really what you get." Despite being based on the creator of RWBY, Ren had plenty of his own quirks. His cooking was good like Oum, but unlike the animator, Ren lacked a complete sense of leadership. This easily slid him into JNPR quite well considering how he was not as out-going as the others, but still presented himself as sensible asset to the team.
And Ren was actually great at fighting unlike Oum. As much as dancing on a DDR machine like a pro sounded awesome, it really didn't mean anything in a show full of fighting.
So you have finally showed up, Monty thought as he felt a drop of sweat roll down his neck. That completes the two main crews, then.
RWBY and JNPR. Eight tiny miracles. A man who thought normally would think that it would end right there, but Oum knew better than that. He knew that Ren just might not be the last of the midgets spawning in his home. And that… could really mean anything.
Even the worst case scenarios where literally all of Remnant just poops into existence.
Nonononono, things won't go that far, he convinced himself on the edge of his sanity. But I'm sure the end of these miracles popping up isn't over.
He could only hope that he was both wrong and right, for he could not make an abstract decision.
Ren waddled over to Oum, who kneeled in front of him in his own bedroom. Nora clung on the raven-haired boy like a parasite as he reached out for the animator's knee.
In the laziest way ever, Lie Ren pat Oum's knee.
And he immediately tipped over and fell asleep, sprawled out on the floor.
This guy's work ethic… Oum thought depressingly as he stared at Ren. Oh, the man knew how much work ethic Ren normally had. From cooking to studying, Ren was quite easily one of the busiest students in JNPR alongside Pyrrha, but the very presence of Nora always wore him out.
Not that it was a bad thing to have Nora around, but her presence always demanded a lot of energy from anyone close to her. It was probably enough to tire Zwei out and somehow make the dog say "Stop" in perfect English.
Sliding his fingers under Ren, Oum carefully picked the newest miracle of the household up. He put Ren on his pillow at the bed before proceeding to stare at the sight for a few good minutes.
The fact that he stopped screaming every time a character entered his household just showed how much he accepted his fate.
Yang laughed as she rolled a soccer ball much bigger than her around the living room.
Sheena had gone off to do the laundry, leaving the blonde brawler all alone. The fiery huntress always found a way to kill her own boredom, however, so she seemed fine with waiting for the woman who did mind spoiling her so much. Yang had no idea she was being spoiled in the first place, actually- she just continued being herself without changing a single bit.
Giggling, the small Xiao Long punched the ball, letting it ricochet off the walls. The ball ended up weakly rolling off to the entrance door. Yang grinned at the development of her strength!
As she scampered off to get the ball, however, she blinked as she stood still.
The big door so much larger than herself was somehow open.
Did Oum and Sheena forget to lock the door?
Yang squinted as she slowly approached the door. The ball had rolled right outside of the door, sitting at the entrance.
Curious, the hyperactive bundle of energy known as Yang waddled out of the door.
