Hey everyone! It's Paradigm of Writing, and it's time to give everyone the results of my contest. Everything is explained from the bottom so read it all before coming to me with reviews and PM's, please and thank you. Thanks for everyone who participated. Results will be long, so if you don't have time to read it all, find your section and read it.

Paradigm spun around in his chair one more time before stopping his swivel at his desk. He poised his hands above the computer, the entire result page finished and ready for posting. He just needed to hit submit, just attempt it and maybe magically it would work. For the whole four months while the contest went on, his phone would randomly turn on and Seri would start talking to him.

He heard an alert and looked down. Seri was trying to buzz on and he knew exactly what she was going to say to him. Change the results, back out of it, give it more time.

"Not today," Paradigm thought to himself. He clicked submit. There it was over. Paradigm backed away from his desk, sighing heavily. "It's done. Man, that was fun!"

Yep, it's time for the wonderful results! Now, I've made some changes for how this'll go. If you are first in your division, you get a one-shot written for you 2000 words or more with a review on a story of your choice, and a follow/favorite. If you are second in your division, you get a drabble of 1000 words or less written about you, a review on a story of your choice, and a follow/favorite. Third place in your division results with a review and a follow, if I haven't already done so for most of you.

Now, I know... I did not review everyone's entry and I feel awful, I really do. I wanted to, but I just did not have the time and even though I'm on summer vacation... I just couldn't spend the whole time reviewing and judging all the entries. I had to disqualify half the competition because they never posted on the due date. It is partly my fault for never reminding people, or at least not late enough, and at the same time it isn't... so I don't know. One person had to disqualified for not abiding by the contest's rules. Yes, I did not review every entry, but I did read all of them and I must say... just wow I was impressed. I did judge each one privately, and one day I'll go back and reread them all that need to be read. The reason I didn't do any overalls is because I can't compare a twelve year-old to a twenty one year-old in their writing abilities. You learn so much, it'd be terribly unfair. And don't worry, I have honorable mentions and reasons for my reasoning for the placement of your stories. You guys did not make this easy at all, it was stressful. Oh, so damn stressful.

So first, we have the Junior Division which was ages 11-14. You guys started out with 8 people, but then it got whittled down little by little with people dropping out and never posting etc... so we were at three. Congratulations to the three left standing, you all have placed. Personally you would've placed regardless because all three of you were amazing.

So, in 3rd place for the Junior division, I want to congratulate PitDash with their one-shot, Fight to Live. Like many people who've posted, people highlighted on the Duck Hunt Dog and Bird. I was very happy reading this piece, and I want to thank you for entering. The part that sold it to me first, truly was your summary. It's brilliant.

In 2nd place for the Junior division, I want to congratulate EchoMoonHuntress with their one-shot, Here's the Thing. This one was also about Duck Hunt Dog and his birdy companion. There was a very little gap between you and PitDash, because the person who placed 1st did have something extremely special about their entry. I loved both of them dearly, and it was difficult picking between the two of them.

In 1st place for the Junior division, I want to give a standing ovation for theunspokenprophet with their one-shot, The Trophy Collector. I love me some horror and this just... words cannot describe it. I am extremely happy to reward you with this honor, for very few horror stories impress me as much as this one did. Excellent job, and I apologize for not having been able to express my true love for this fanfiction in a review as of now.

Teen division was the hardest of the three, I'll tell you right now. Gosh darn it was tough as hell. This one lost quite the number, nearly half the competition. I felt awful having to pick three people only, but then yet again, these stories were some of the best in the contest. I do have honorable mentions so I want to get them out of the way- Forgiveness by ThatGuy58, Bad Habits by Circuit's Dead, Ghost Town by Daisy Bokoblin, and Cruel by KoopalingFan.

So, ahem... 3rd in the Teen division goes to Satsuki Inuyasha Imaizumi with her one-shot, Etrange de Sang: La Reine de Carnaval est Decedee. Don't worry everyone, the whole one-shot is in English even though the title is in I think French. Now, this horror one-shot centered on a disfigured carnival which highlights the reason why Pikana's Circo de Luna is so good. Although I love my horror, and I love Satsuki's work, the other two spots edged out a little bit more.

2nd and 1st place were the two toughest of this entire competition. I am pained to announce that 2nd place in the Teen division goes to Flame Falcon with his amazing three parter Machine's Heart. Now, this piece is brilliant... oh so wonderful. He highlights R.O.B in the most amazing light, something few people have done before. Besides grammatical issues and tense changes here and there, the plot for this is so unbelievable it knocked me off my seat. Amazing piece.

Now, the 1st place winner for the Teen division was amazing, beyond anything I've read this year. This was my favorite piece in the entire competition if you wish to know my honesty. I must congratulate and give another standing ovation for Miss CheesyOne and her one-shot Viridian Forest. If you want to read anyone else's pieces, read this one above all. Truly the most inventive piece I've read so far this year, but I am not taking away anything from anyone else.

I think it was the adult or senior division next, but I only had three so it doesn't matter. I want to give an honorable mention to Angelic Land for his heartwarming and heartbreaking piece Reminiscent of Your Touch and Effed My Way Up to the Top by LegitElizabethWWEFan. Both pieces were amazing, but it came to nitty gritty things when picking my top three.

In 3rd place for I believe the Adult division, I want to say congratulations to Mechanical Oven with their piece A Ninja's Decision. I never really believed Lucas and Greninja could become such a distinct pair of friends and this story proved me wrong. Angst is my third favorite genre next to horror and fantasy, and he mastered this one very well.

In 2nd place for the Adult division, it pains me to give it out to MahNati for her amazing one-shot Under a Mask. Zelda in this story was brilliant beyond compare, and the relationship she had with Sheik and Little Mac pained me to put it at second, but first place had the experience and well known ability that shot this down from 1st.

In 1st place for my Adult division, it joys my heart to announce Smash King24 with his Duck Hunt Dog and Bird tribute The Duck Hunter. Now, many people did these two characters as mains, and he added Lucas and Luigi whom I saw a lot of as well. But in this piece I wasn't reminded of Lucas and Luigi. I was given two completely different characters which debunks normal fanfiction rules, but it worked here. It would have to be my 2nd favorite entry in this entire contest.

Now, I don't know when I'll have my reviews, drabbles, and one-shots in but do know that they'll be coming. I can't give you a direct date because I don't want to pressure myself. I want to personally say thank you to everyone who was participated and eventually I'll learn how to post links so you guys don't have to look up the winner's and honorable mentions stories... which I'll fix soon. I don't when my next contest will be, but I'm definitely, definitely doing a horror contest. Definitely. It may come in the near future, around Halloween perhaps. That'll only have a limited # of 10 people. Yes 10, and it'll have it's own little surprise that no one will see coming. Thanks again, and I'm sorry for those who did not win or get an honorable mention. I am proud to be a writer in this fandom and you all accentuated my faith in this archive once more. Wonderful job, see you all in my own work.
