Ello! ^^ Thanx for reading! On with the story!

Tea sighed as the steaming water washed away her troubles, her worries, and of course the soap. When the steam started to make her dizzy she turned off the water and stepped out onto the cold tile floor and gazed at herself in the mirror. It was too fogged to see details but as she stared at her outline she wondered what a boy could see in her. Sure her chest was a rather good size, her waist small, and her hips quite voluptuous but is that really everything?

When the glass began to clear a bit and her empty coral blue eyes stared back at her with unwavering sadness she looked away. She reached for her towels and realized she forgot a second one for her hair so she just tried to hand dry it as best she could before wrapping her only towel around her to cover herself, it barely reached her thighs.

When she stepped out of the bathroom on her way to her bedroom she heard a gasp and startled she turned towards the sound. Yugi was standing a few feet away with a ridiculously red face trying to cover his eyes.

'T-tea! I'm so- I didn't mean to-too early!'

He was stuttering and talking really fast so she only caught pieces of what he said but that didn't stop her from blushing profusely herself. She grabbed the end of her towel in attempt to hold it down while still holding it up and looked away she couldn't move she was too embarrassed.

Even though her crush wasn't on Yugi one of her guy friends had just stumbled across her almost completely naked. She started to back away towards her room at the end of the hall hearing only Yugi's constant apology. Her mood darkened further despite the terrible solution. She wondered if this would put a strain on her and Yugi's friendship and if they would be awkward from now on. Suddenly she realized Yugi was silent.

Curious she willed herself to look up towards where she left him and when she came face to face with deep purple eyes she jumped back startled, he was right in front of her. The movement slammed her right into her bedroom door and when she realized it wasn't Yugi her blush smothered her face.

'Um hello Atem.'

Her voice was shaky and she was sure he could hear her heart pounding in her chest, getting louder with every beat, as he stepped a bit closer.

'Ah. Hello Tea.'

As he reached out to her she squeezed her eyes closed and clenched her towel a bit tighter only to feel his hand brush some of her hair behind her ear. She peeked out at him from under her lashes to find a frown on his usually stoic face.

'Are you frightened of me dear Tea?'

She stared at him for a minute or so trying to put her answer unto words but he brushed his hand down her cheek before she could and the entire thought was lost to her. She involuntarily leaned into his hand and momentarily confused herself with the action before shaking her head no.

'Your eyes, they're remarkable, they exceed even the Nile in beauty.'

She stared at him stunned and her blush returned much more prominent than before.

'T-thank you.'

She smiled at him and as a few tears leaked down her face he brushed some of them away with a frown.

'Have I said something to distress you Tea?'

She shook her head violently and her hair slapped her in the face but she didn't care. The happiness inside her sprung back with new vigor and as it bubbled to the surface she flung her arms around his neck. He tumbled to the ground clearly not expecting the sudden movement but soon understood what was happening and lightly embraced her as well.

She held onto him and cried she wasn't quite sure why but she couldn't help it. He didn't seem to mind and as she let out all her pent up emotions he rubbed her back soothingly. She couldn't help it, what came out of her mouth next was an accident.

'He hit me.'

His arms tightened around her and he pulled her away a bit so he could see her face. He looked calm but she knew better he was infuriated.

'When?'

She sniffed and turned away from him.

'It was a few weeks ago those days I missed of class, I just didn't want everyone to see.'

He tilted her head back to him and she realized he had clenched his jaw and his eyes had intensified.

'Tea tell me what happened.'

It wasn't really a question but more of a demand.

She flinched at the memory but began to tell him anyway.

'I was helping him practice for his upcoming DDR competition and I accidently beat him. He got so mad Atem he punched me and it knocked me out cold. I don't remember anything after that but when I woke up and looked in the mirror the entire left side of my face was swollen and bruised, he was gone. I went home and my parents freaked out and called the police, I don't really know if they found him.'

A growl escaped deep in his throat at her words and as he pulled her to him she buried her face into the crook of his neck. She then took several deep breaths in attempt to calm herself and noticed he didn't smell like Yugi's cologne. He smelled of something rich and musky that she couldn't quite place and she smiled at the surprising calm that washed over her.

After sitting like this for a while with Atem rubbing her back he suddenly stiffened and she felt strange fabric wrap itself around her and a zipper sound reached her ears. She pulled away from him to realize he had put the black jacket he had been carrying on her. She looked at him confused and was startled to see a tint of red dusting his cheeks.

'Atem?'

'Your cotton material fell.'

She looked down to see a towel still partially tied covering her now from the waist down and it all came back to her. She squeaked and jumped away from him to her feet making sure the towel wouldn't fall anymore and noticing just now that she had fallen in between his legs when they hit the ground.

Her heart pounded in her ears and her face lit fire, he had seen her naked! She backed into her door again and as he stood up she grew even more embarrassed.

'A-Atem I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to I-'

He cut her off when he walked up to her and kissed her forehead.

'It's no trouble Tea. I believe Yugi has set up the "Date" for you and I and I shall wait downstairs.'

Then he smiled at her, walked away without looking back, and turned the corner to the stairs. She couldn't help the dopey grim that spread across her face as she rushed into her room to change.
