She walked towards the alley, a shortcut she had planned beforehand. The job was easy; sneak into the party, break into the safe, grab the files, and leave.

Only she didn't expect to get pushed into an alley. A hard shove had snapped her out of her thoughts and against the cement wall.

"He-" She started. She was cut short when her assailant pushed her harder into the wall.

She looked up and was met with a disgusting sight. A huge man held her and his black eyes captured her blue ones. He glanced up from the files and she grimaced as his greasy chestnut hair fell into his eyes. It was a security guard from the party she realized as her eyes widened.

"Where's your little team now?" He smirked and grabbed the files out of her flailing hand. Tucking the files into the back of his pants, his eyes raked her over.

"Maybe we should leave your little band of misfits a message." He taunted, and threw her to the ground. She was back up in seconds, fists at the ready.

"Aw; how cute. You think you can win against me." He grabbed her fist that swung his way and bent it at an awkward angle.

She gasped in pain and swung her knee towards him. He just caught and threw her to the ground once more. He laughed as she gasped for breath landing on her injured hand.

"You know you are a pretty thing. The things I could do to you..." He smirked and grabbed her by the neck, slamming her against the wall again.

She groaned in pain as her head slammed into the wall. Not giving up, Parker ignored the dizziness in her head and focused on what was happening.

She shrieked when she felt his dirty hand slide up her shirt. Parker attempted to wiggle away and kick her way out. The hand paused and she could feel him smirking.

His other hand slid to her face and cupped her face. The blonde was appalled when he shoved his mouth roughly on hers. She gagged when he tried to slip his tongue in, in response she bit it.

He let out a curse and dropped her. Parker struggled to get up; she swayed and leant against the wall.

He glared at her and stalked forward; his previous lust forgotten. She got a good punch in but after that she couldn't remember much. She kind of lost it as he kicked her and slammed his fist into her sides.

... ... ...

Elliot was nervous, he had wanted to walk back with the little blonde thief but he had to take care of some guys trying to follow her.

"Hardison, is she there yet?" He barked through the coms.

"No man, she ain't been here yet. Maybe she stopped to do something. You never know, she's Parker; man." the geek responded.

"Something don't feel right." He muttered. "Hardison, track her com."

"Man-"

"Now!" He yelled.

"Okay, okay… This can't be right, why would she…"

Elliot grew more nervous. "Damn it Hardison; where is she?"

"It says she's in the alley on third."

Elliot muttered an explicit as he ran down the stairs and stormed through the front door.

... ... ...

The hitter was ready to kill somebody once he got to the small thief.

She was curled into a fetal position; her arms wrapped loosely around her torso and her hair bloody and matted to her head. Her shirt was slightly ripped and her lips were bruised, Elliot feared the worst. Multiple bruises also decorated her pale skin and she appeared to be unconscious.

Elliot's eyes were fierce as he kneeled down to her and leant her against the cement wall. She groaned as she steadily awoke.

Her eyes were now open, wide, and scared. She reached towards Elliot; only too yelp in pain when she moved. Her arms quickly wrapped around herself, causing her more pain as she hunched over.

Elliot winced when he heard her cry of pain, quickly catching her before she hurt herself more.

"Parker, this is going to hurt. I need to get you out of here before he comes back or anyone else does." He told her gently, holding his anger towards her attacker back.

She let out a small nod, but grasped her head when an onslaught of pain came with it. Elliot quickly slipped his arms under her knees and his other wound around her back.

Blood came to Parker's lip as she bit it to hold in her tears and pain. Elliot saw and quickly pulled it from her teeth and scolded her lightly, "Don't do that. You're in enough pain. I'll check you out once we get back to the office."

Her response was a groan mixed with a sigh; she was so sleepy.

"Parker? Parker! You can't go to sleep honey." He told her, patting cheek lightly and setting her gently into the front seat of Lucille.

"But I'm so tired." Was her childlike response made his hear clench as she cried in pain and confusion.

"I know doll, but we got to get you home."

A few more tears slipped through.

"Can I have some cereal?" She sniffed, staring at him with watery eyes.

"Yeah darling, you can have some cereal. Let's just get you home first." He said glancing at her. Her feet were now curled under her and her fist was under her chin. Every now and then when the car ran over a bump she would wince or jerk in pain.

A car sped up and narrowly hit them as it drove into the lane in front of them. Elliot had to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting them. Parker was then thrown forward in the commotion and shrieked in pain.

Elliot's eyes darted to her to see her breathing heavily trying to gasp in air.

... ... ...

Parker felt like she couldn't breathe. She swallowed air trying to catch her breath, but her breaths just kept coming in short gasps.

Elliot pulled over quickly and swiftly came to her side. He stood on the side of the road holding her shoulders and murmuring something over and over.

"Breath. Parker, slow you're breathing. Look at me Parker, Breath. Like this," He breathed in slowing and let it out equally as slow.

She did as he said and dropped her head on his shoulder once she had recovered.

"It hurts." She murmured, she may not have liked it but she knew when she needed help.

"I'll make it better, just don't go to sleep." He told her, probably thinking she had a concussion.

His face was tight with anger as he started the car back up and drove quickly to the office.

Once they got there the hitter stepped out of the truck quickly, and opened Parker's car door.

"Sweetheart? Come on now," He hefted her up, careful not to jostle her.

Her arms slipped around his neck and he could feel them stiff against his skin.

... ... ...

Parker's appearance alone had scared Elliot before he realized she was in pain. Her hair had been sticky with blood from a slim cut on for forehead, and her arm had been twisted at the elbow; resulting in a broken arm.

The thief's pale pink lips were bruised and her stomach and chest are had turned a nasty purple color. That's what had worried in the most, so he had asked about them when he had helped clean her up.

"Parker… Did he, did he… Touch you?" Elliot clenched his fists in anger at the thought.

Parker brought her uninjured hand up to her bruised lip and murmured, "He…He kissed me, and …And st-stuck his hand up my sh-shirt…" Seeing the Hitter's furious gaze she added quickly, "But that's all! I-I bit his tongue…"

"Good." Elliot was still angry with the man that had run off, but put it aside for a later time. He turned on the shower, after easing Parker's clothed off gently to help her into the shower. She didn't have much modesty, so she let him clean her hair and clean the cuts that had been covered by her shirt.

Elliot pulled one of his old shirts gently over Parker's head, and decided to get her to take some pills for her pain. He didn't like to see her wince every five minutes.

... ... ...

Parker did not like drugs. Everyone knew that, which is why she couldn't figure out why Elliot insisted upon her taking them.

"Parker please take the pills." Elliot said exasperated, his voice slightly rough. The blonde was again refuted, shaking her head no as her answer.

"Please?" The hitter practically begged, seeing her wince as she tried to sit up in the bed he had set her in. Elliot had brought her to back to the office, taking her to the spare room with a small bed.

"They're drugs," Parker accused, "No."

"I promise, they won't hurt you and I'll be right here." He explained to her, watching as she sighed.

"Will they make me go to sleep?" She asked, her resolve wavering.

"No," He told her, but then muttered quickly, "But they will make you tired."

"I don't wanna go to sleep." She started to tear up.

"You don't have to doll. It'll just take away some of the pain." Elliot replied quickly, he wanted to know what had happened anyway.

Parker looked into his eyes and saw nothing but honesty. "Okay." She nodded.

Elliot smiled and handed her the pills, which she quickly swallowed dry. He watched her settle down into the bed, wincing as she jostled her sore ribs.

Once the small blonde thief had laid her head on the pillow, she was out like a light. Elliot settled against the head bored, smiling softly as Parker let out a soft sleepy whimper and snuggled closer to his warmth.

... ... ...

That's how the rest of the team found them. Parker's head in Elliot's lap with his hand tangled into her hair. Both were sleeping quietly, neither worrying about anything in the world.
