There wasn't supposed to be anything dangerous about this new case. Everyone was supposed to return to the garage after it was over and spend time with the cyclone. They were supposed to make a pizza from scratch that night; Paige had even gone out to the store to grab the ingredients they needed.

Absolutely no one saw this coming…

"All right, everyone listen up!" Cabe demanded marching through the door. The team gathered around, Paige trailing in right behind the Homeland Agent after dropping Ralph off at school.

"New case?" Asked Toby hopefully. "I could use a new check, I've got my eye on this new poker…"

"Not now Toby, we don't have time. I have a complaint from the CEO of Geenan, the large microchip manufacturing company located a few minutes out of LA, of a security breach in their main building. They asked for this team specifically. I suggest you pack your things and head out to the can ASAP."

Not even five minutes later the group was packed, in the van, and heading into the city. Walter took the wheel, "Cabe, I need you in back next to Sylvester. Get a company rep on the phone and pull up a map of the layout of the building. Toby, skim through a list of employees with Happy, see if you can pick out anyone possibly responsible for the breech, there's a high possibility this was an inside job, from the amount of security already in place." Paige jumped in the front next to Walter, the back of their van filled with the rest of the cyclone already immersing themselves in the job. Paige marveled at the realization of how in sync the group was and how quickly they could mobilize. A few months ago small bickering and a ton of chaos would erupt.

In a few short months, her whole life had taken a turn for the better, and she would be forever grateful. She was convinced that luck was on her side that day when the team showed up in the diner, demanding the space and, most importantly, the Wi-Fi. If they had never gotten to the diner that day Paige would still be struggling to connect with Ralph, but because of the cyclone, she connected with him even better than she had ever dreamed possible. Ralph had given her a hug when she had dropped him off at school that morning and the innocent action almost brought her to tears. They were welcomed with such open arms at the garage and Paige had never felt so included before. Even when she was with Drew, she still felt like she wasn't where she needed to be. She knew now that with the team was where she was supposed to be.

Glancing at Walter, she grinned, marveling at how far he had come in their "social experiments". He too, had broken out of his shell, letting the rest of the team have a sneak peak at his human side every once in a while, especially when his sister came around the garage, which was more and more often now that her relationship with Sylvester had taken its first step forward. Speaking of relationships, Paige could have sworn that there was something there between her and Walter, but every time the situation seemed to look up, he would clam up and retreat like a turtle into his shell. Paige knew that this was to expected, and that it was only a matter of time until he was ready to open up to her, and she knew that she was willing to wait. He was truly special.

Everyone in the van had fallen into a comfortable rhythm, Toby narrowing his search with every click of a button, and Sylvester was navigating the building via the computer, processing the most likely scenarios that had occurred.

Maybe everyone was so wrapped up in their work and that's why they didn't see the truck. Maybe they felt so safe with each other that they didn't realize they were in danger.

No matter how safe they felt, or uninvolved in work they could have been, no one could have stopped the large red vehicle from racing out of the adjacent street.

Paige let out a stifled scream while Walter yelled "No, no, NO!"

Everyone had realized what was going to happen a second before they felt the impact.
