The truth was it was no one's fault, but hers-or so she believed. If she tried hard enough, her father have loved her. If she tried harder, the maids and butlers wouldn't worry so much. But, there was always the lingering thought that if she tried enough, and if she tried harder, more expectations were to come. She would be bound by more than one chain.
That's why she ran away to her grandfather's arms. Though ,they were not related by blood, he was a grandfather who would stay by her side. Marakov was his name-guild master of Fairy Tail.
Lucy Heartfillia became Lucy Dreyar-adopted granddaughter of Marakov Dreyar and adopted, little sister of Laxus Dreyar.
Despite the warmness of the guild, Lucy stayed back on the top floors, hiding herself and taking S-class missions. The only people knowing her as Lucy Dreyar was the Dreyar family, other guild masters, and the Thunder God Tribe who she welcomed with open arms.
Of course, due to her warm and defiant nature, they grew protective of the girl with ten Zodiac keys-including Leo the Lion who she had accidently encountered during a mission. Soon, it became that Lucy would always be accompanied by the Thunder God Tribe to the outside world-gaining Lucy all 13 platinum keys and gaining an alliance with Sabertooth.
You see, what happened was Lucy had bumped into two members of Sabertooth, Sting and Rogue-the Twin Dragon Slayers of Sabertooth. Outraged they did not apologize after she did, she followed them to Sabertooth (the Thunder God tribe on a rampage due to not noticing Lucy stayed behind due to talking with the client).
"What are you doing here?" Sting-an narcissistic blonde-had scowled. "Sabertooth members only."
"I don't care," huffed a 13 year Lucy. "You did not say sorry when you bumped into me earlier."
"What is this?" another male voice asked. It was the current leader of Sabertooth Jeremiah. "Oh, you're Lucy Dreyar of Fairy Tail aren't you?" Of course he knew of her due to Marakov's constant bragging during meetings.
Lucy nodded. "You need to teach your guild manners!"
"Why so?" responded Jeremiah, interest perked. She was the strongest Celestial mage in all of Fiore and he understood the difficulty of bringing a being from another world here.
"I accidently bumped into them and they left me on ground!" Lucy scowled. "They got me separated from the Thunder God as well!"
"Geez Blondie, if you wanted to meet us, you didn't have to go this far."
Rogue, the raven haired and detached male, rolled his eyes. It took a few minutes, but after seeing the keys around her waist knew she was the "Fallen Star". "String, she wouldn't even need to. Her reputation is so large, we'd be the ones going far to meet her."
"Oi Lulu," a voice shouted, bursting through the guild doors. "Why are you in Sabertooth?"
"Lux, I'm just trying to teach some Sabertooths some manners," huffed Lucy once more.
