Harry let out a soft groan as his eyes opened. 'Wait, why is my cupboard so comfy?' Harry asked himself in bewilderment as he blinked the sleep out of his eyes and looked around in confusion. Then he felt the pair of arms gently holding him close... He looks over his shoulders to see Akali's peaceful, sleeping face. Then he remembered the events that had taken place the night prior. He smiled gratefully at all she's done for him. 'I should make breakfast for her.' Harry thought as he wiggled out of her grasp and got off the bed. He hugged her arm real quickly before heading down to the kitchen. Without hesitation, he starts looking through the fridge for ingredients for breakfast.

Akali's eyes opened, and she was greeted by a heavenly scent. 'Mmm, where is that delicious smell coming from?' Akali asked herself as she realized that Harry wasn't in her arms, causing her eyes to snap open. 'Wherever in the world...?' She thought as she got out of her bed. She heads downstairs and towards the kitchen. Her eyes widened when she saw Harry making a perfect breakfast of bacon and eggs. She was completely gob smacked as she watched him set the food on the table and noticed her for the first time since she came down.

"Um...I made breakfast..." He said softly, looking down.

She shook her head and looked at him with surprise. "Harry! Why are you making breakfast?"

Harry flinched away from her tone. "I...I...It's my job...isn't it...?" Akali shook her head and approached him and knelt down to eye leave then placed her hand on his shoulder.

"While I appreciate that you made such a wonderful meal, it is not safe for a child your age to be working around a stove." Akali explained.

Harry frowned. "But I did it all the time when I was working for Uncle Vernon..." Harry was interrupted when Akali hugged him. He blinked in surprise before hugging back.

'You don't have to cook anymore Harry." Akali told him as she continued to hug him. Harry blinked. No more accidentally burning himself on the stove, or spilling hot cooking grease on himself... He smiled as he nuzzled into her body.

After a few more moments, Akali broke off the hug. "Now, let us eat some of your delicious smelling, nutritious meal." Akali told him as she picked him up and sat him on a chair, then taking a seat besides him. The young ninja placed some food in her mouth... Her eyes immediately light up at the flavor and texture of the eggs. "Well done, Harry." She said. "You are a highly experienced cook."

Harry blushed at her praise. "T-thank you." Harry stuttered out, not used to praise. He looked down shyly, occasionally looking up at her over his thick glasses, making him look quite adorable. Akali couldn't help but giggle at the adorable display. "I thank you for the breakfast." Akali said with a light bow.

"Y-You're welcome." Harry told her, his blush turning a deeper shade of scarlet from embarrassment. Akali rose from the table. She took her plate as well as Harry's now empty plate and took them to the sink. "I could have done it." Harry said softly. "I can do all the work..."

Akali smiled and dried her hands and places her hand on his head. "It is fine young one, you've no need to do anything more." Akali told him.

"Are you sure?" Harry asked softly. Akali smiled and nodded. "Okay...But I'll do whatever you ask me to."

Akali nodded. 'Alright, if I have something to do, I'll let you know." Akali told him as she looked at the clock and her eyes widened in horror. "Oh dear! I am unlikely to arrive to work at the correct time!" She exclaimed. Harry looked at her in confusion as she dashed upstairs as he followed her. "What's going on?" He asked.

Akali looked back at him while dashing towards her room to change. "I am going to be late for work." She explained as she stopped in front of her closet and started to change. Soon enough, she was dressed up in her nurse's outfit. She then rushed into the bathroom and brushed her teeth. She was about to rush out the door...before she realized she had no one to babysit Harry. She took a second to wrack her brain until she remembered that there was an area at the hospital where parents would sometimes leave their children. She bent down to pick Harry up. "I fear you must come to work with me, child." She said gently.

Harry tilted his head in confusion. "Why? Is that a bad thing?"

"I will be unable to be with you while I am working. Will you be safe in the play area?" She asked. He looked at her hesitantly for a few seconds and nodded his head. "Very well. Let us go..." She grabbed his hand and went to her car parked in her driveway. Normally she would have simply leapt from rooftops, but she needed to get there fast...and she had Harry now... She took him to the back seat and buckled him in. Harry smiled at her. She smiled back at him as she shut the door and got in the driver's seat. Soon, the car was pulling out of the driveway.

And they headed towards the hospital with smiles on their faces.
