"Trying To Get It Out"

Disclaimer: I do not own anything associated with "Gravity Falls" or any of its characters. "Gravity Falls" and its characters are owned by Alex Hirsch and the people of Disney Channel, which also owns the cartoon as well. Anyway, I'd figured I try my hand at a Gravity Falls fic. After all, it's been my first Gravity Falls fic since "Dipper's 18th Birthday Surprise", so here's a sweet awesome Dipper/Pacifica one-shot! Like I said, I do not own anything at all. However, the only thing I do own is this fic, which I'm writing just about now.
P.S.: Takes place a week after events of "Northwest Mansion Noir".
Chills were going up Pacifica's spine.
A gleam of sweat appeared across her face.
Heart thumping back and forth in total suspense.
On the outside, she would never act like this, knowing that she was a Northwest. After all, both Northwest should be rich, sophisicated, classy and not to forget a little bit snobby. That's the way Pacifica Northwest was, but on the inside...
...
...
...she was growing more tense.
Growing tense of how the events down at the Northwest Mansion went down last week, she figured a nice little trip down the Mystery Shack was in order. Although Pacifica never had quite such a relationship with the Pines family, she always had a mutual respect for them. She always respected Mabel for being quite an interesting adversary, especially when they faced each other off during a round of minature golf. Most notably, they worked together to take down a crowd of little ball-shaped beings known as the Lilliputtians. They were out for both Mabel and Pacifica, but luckily, the two managed to escape. From there, the two managed to get rid of their rivalry, once and for all.
And then there was Dipper Pines. Just hearing that name actually felt something warm inside her. Vivid memories of him and her still lingered on as the bus she was riding on rode. She could remember the lumberjack ghost that she and Dipper encountered. So vicious and so heartless, that he started turning everyone, especially Dipper into wood. Pacifica was scared for him and her unruly parents. But the ghost had offered to turn everyone back to normal if Pacifica promised to open the main gate, without having to listen to her mom and dad. She managed to hold up their ghost's promise, much to Dipper and everyone's safety.
But the only thing she could remember from the party was the words that Dipper spoke onto her inside an old, abandoned basement. Pacifica felt lonely and alone, regretting to see pictures and portraits of her corrupting family members, doing mean-spirited acts that reveled in what the Northwests were now today. But Dipper was willing to change that inside her. He needed to tell her that Pacifica doesn't need to be like her parents and that there was still time to change who she wanted to be. She couldn't help but feel her heart warm from Dipper's honest gesture. It was there that both Pacifica and Dipper had formed their friendship.
But suddenly, Pacifica felt like it wasn't enough for her. She actually did feel something from him that even she couldn't find out. Even when she slept, that tender moment between her and Dipper played over and over again. Was Pacifica actually having feelings for Dipper?
She couldn't.
She didn't.
But truth be told...
...
...
...she did.
Which was why Pacifica took the bus over to the Mystery Shack to confront Dipper about her feelings.
As the bus was this close to passing the Shack, Pacifica managed to reach the rope on time.
"Driver, stop!" Pacifica shouted.
The bus then came to a screeching halt.
"So you decided to take a visit to a brothel?" The bus driver smirked.
"Yeah, right." Pacifica scowled as she was stepping off the bus. "Next time, I'll take a limo instead."
"Your loss, little girl!" The sleazy bus driver smirked. "This bus is quite a lady-killer itself."
"You're a creep, you know that?" She groaned.
From there, Pacifica finally left the bus and started approaching the shop.
As the bus drove away, her heart started beating out of proportion, as if she was giving second thoughts about entering. She always imagined how Dipper would react to Pacifica liking him. Then again, maybe she didn't want to see his reaction after all. But what kind of choice does Pacifica have? I mean, she owed Dipper her life down at the party.
Maybe it was the right time to tell Pacifica how she felt.
Or maybe not. As she got to the door, the second thoughts set in again.
"Okay, I can't do this." Pacifica sighed. "What if Dipper doesn't like me?"
She wished the bus to come back for her, but it wasn't worth having to deal with that sleazebag of a bus driver. She would likely walk, but it would likely take almost an hour to get to the mansion from here. So far, the only thing Pacifica could get rid of her stress was to take a big deep breath. Luckily for her, that helped a lot. It made things easier for the queen bee herself as she decided to give it another shot.
"Okay, here goes nothing." Pacifica sighed as she knocked on the door.
She tapped her foot patiently, hoping that someone, mainly Dipper, would come to the door and greet her.
After only two minutes of waiting around, she heard footsteps coming to the door. It was huge creaking footsteps that was approaching close-by. Anticipation set in for Pacifica. This time, she was only a little nervous on the inside. But she was willing to charge through with her feelings. She was ready.
Finally, the door creaked open. But much to her disappointment, Dipper wasn't standing at the door...
...
...
...
...it was Gruncle Stan.
"Hey, you ain't the pizza boy." Gruncle Stan spoke to Pacifica.
"Of course I'm not, grandpa." She scoffed. "If I was a pizza boy, I'd be fat and ugly, which I'm not. Anyway, I'm here to see your son."
"Who, Mabel?" Stan guessed.
"No, I'm talking about your other son." Pacifica groaned.
"You mean Soos?" Stan said, scratching his head. "After all, he is like a son to me."
"The one with the weird spoon as a birthmark." Pacifica sighed yet again.
"Oh, you mean Dipper," Stan nodded. "Hold on, I'll get him. DIPPER, YOUR GIRLFRIEND'S HERE!"
Suddenly, Pacifica couldn't help but blush at that word. He never thought that someone like her would actually be Dipper's girlfriend. I mean, that would be insane, and crazy. I mean, they were only friends back at Northwest Manor. That was all. Just friends. Yet, a tingly feeling appeared inside her heart. She couldn't help but feel comfortable at the thought of Dipper actually being his girlfriend. But like she said, they were still friends.
As she was thinking that single thought, Dipper appeared at the door.
"Hey Pacifica." Dipper replied.
"Hey, Dipper." She replied back, only with a blush to appear alongside her face.
However, it suddenly turned into uncomfortable silence. But their thoughts were clear on each other though.
"Oh, crap." Dipper thought. "Why is she blushing? Oh man, please don't tell me she likes me..."
"Ohh, why do I find him so cute?" Pacifica thought as well.
After only a few minutes of silence, Dipper finally decided to speak up.
"So, how are things?" Dipper smiled weakly.
"Um, pretty good, pretty good," Pacifica shrugged. "Mom and Dad still act like themselves."
"Same with my Gruncle Stan." Dipper sighed.
But then, Pacifica noticed Dipper blushing at her as well. Seeing him blush made her blush twice as hard.
"Now he's blushing," Pacifica thought again. "Oh, I hope he really likes me."
"Please tell me I'm not blushing," Dipper thought again as well. "I really hope she didn't see me blushing."
Once again, silence filled the air between the two. Luckily, it wasn't for long before Pacifica spoke out.
"Anyway, I wanted to say thank you for helping me out at the mansion last week." Pacifica replied. "I feel like I owe you my life."
"Oh, come on," Dipper chuckled. "You don't owe me anything. I was just there to help you and your family out. I really hope that you stayed true to my message, that's all."
"Yeah, I'm really working on that." She nodded.
Suddenly, her conscience came to bite her on the head. She realized why she was here in the first place. She knew why she was here. And it was to tell Dipper how she truly felt about him since that tender moment between him.
"Hey, Dipper?" She said, turning her heel.
"What is it?" Dipper raised his eyebrow.
"Is it okay if I tell you something?"
"Sure," Dipper shrugged. "What is it?"
"Well," Pacifica sighed. "I know I'm gonna beat my head with a pole after this, but..."
"But what?"
Those second thoughts started ringing in again. Now Pacifica could feel one tiny bead of sweat pour down across her face. She felt a bit tense, yet feeling a bit nervous. Pacifica knew this was a bad idea to begin with. But it was the only way she needed to get it out of her chest.
Dipper couldn't quite hear her, but Pacifica managed to utter out something.
"Eyyy wyyy ku..."
"I'm sorry, what was that?" Dipper replied, putting a hand to his ear.
Pacifica could feel her knees shake. Now she really wished for that bus to come back now.
"Eyyy wyyyk ku..." She muttered in gibberish.
"I still can't hear what you're saying, Pacifica." Dipper said with a hint of concern. "Can you speak a little louder?"
Nerves were already getting to her. Now she wished hard for that bus to return. It was no hope for her all. Maybe she should wait for another time to explain her feelings, but it was to no use. Now was the time and now was the hour to do what she needed to do for quite some time. Hearing Dipper speak up to her, Pacifica managed to raise her voice a little so that he could understand what the hell she was saying to him.
"I Liiiiiii... kuh yuh... yuh... yuh..." Pacifica stuttered.
Feeling a little impatient, Dipper finally lost it.
"FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, PACIFICA!" Dipper shouted, "WHAT IN THE NAME OF NAKED SOOS ARE YOU TRYING TO-"
Suddenly, Dipper was cut off!
Strange enough...
...
...
...
...Dipper was cut off by Pacifica, who gave him a very hard, yet very passionate kiss!
The twin brother of Mabel Pines felt his eyes bulge like an air bag. He felt his face red in total surprise as Pacifica's sweet bubblegum lips had wrapped all around Dipper's lips. It almost felt like pressing his lips to a soft fluffy cloud. Heck, it almost felt like he was being kissed by Wendy, except it wasn't Wendy that was kissing her. But much to his shock, it was Pacifica who was kissing him.
Dipper wanted to think that this is wrong, but he couldn't help but forget one thing:
It actually felt right.
The kiss went on for perhaps 8 seconds before Pacifica finally broke off of him. Dipper was shocked in total fear. As he froze, Pacifica finally let off a deep breath and said what she tried to say to him.
"I like you, Dipper." She said.
But frankly, Dipper was still frozen in shock. Apparently, he must've not heard what Pacifica now said to him.
"Um, earth to Dipper?" Pacifica said in concern, "Didn't you hear me already? I said I like you."
Still no use.
Dipper was still frozen in fear because of what Pacifica did to him. So she decided to get through to him.
"Dipper?" Pacifica raised her eyebrow, "Are you okay?"
Finally, after only a minute of frozen silence, Dipper finally managed to respond...
...
...
...
...by fainting.
Apparently, the kiss was too much for Dipper to handle, so in response, he fainted to the floor.
But as Pacifica looked down on him, she realized that Dipper's shocked face was turned into a smile and blush. He felt so much in bliss that he napped on the floor, dreaming of the best kiss that he had. It might not have been with Wendy, but he didn't care as long as he got kissed by a cute girl.
"Um, Dipper?" Pacifica spoke down to him. "Is everything alright?"
"Sweet... lips." Dipper smiled in delight, "Never... tasted... so good."
Seeing the way he was acting now, Pacifica couldn't help but chuckle at Dipper's act of silliness.
"You're definitely right, Dipper." She smirked widely. "I definitely am the worst."
So basically, maybe telling him how she fell wasn't quite a bad idea after all. And no second thoughts could ever tell Pacifica Northwest what to do either. As long as she was happy, and as long as Dipper was happy (which he already was despite fainting), that's what really mattered to her.
Yeah, I gotta admit that it wasn't quite my best work, but I hope that'll satisfy the rest of you Dipcifica lovers! Yes people, I'm on top of the Dipper/Pacifica ship, baby! I used to admit that I was a huge Dipper/Wendy fan, but now that I think about it while seeing this episode, this couple may in fact blow Dippendy out of the water. I'm just saying like it is, folks.
Anyway, feedbacks are welcome! WINNING.
