Chapter 45

Jarven stared ahead with uncaring eyes. His fleet was destroyed. His men lay dead around him. But the land before him burned with the fire of rage from a creature of true power. Not even the Rifts' fragmented Baron Nashor could stand against this creature. It was beautiful.

Taking Kyuubi from Naruto was impossible. Even for all his terrible power, if a creature of Death helped in putting the Kyuubi in Naruto, then removing it would be next to impossible without killing one or the other. And he dared not tread upon their hollow ground. Shame that he couldn't fully remove it and control it like he wanted. Even if he wanted to fully use the Kyuubi as a body, he wasn't sure he could. This was a being of true power and not something he wanted to cross.

Too bad this wouldn't last.

Kyuubi stared at the burning land with narrowed eyes before he shook his head. "I'm not stupid to your abilities. And you have already know doubt realized that we're physically linked. Any damage either of us take will be felt and dealt to the other."

The flames grew in size for a brief moment before being consumed by the winged knight. Kyuubi actually looked pleased by this thing. Too many creatures here in this land relied on weapons instead of their own might. Monster like the creatures from the Void were an obvious exception to that line of thinking, but they were nothing but brainless monsters with only one directive in life to him. This creature was something else. Something majestic.

He wanted to kill it.

As the flames dwindled away, Kyuubi made out the outlines of those that had stood in front of his attack and snorted in their direction. Naruto stood in front of them all, his eyes hardened on the form of Kyuubi.

"I never figured that this would be how we'd resolve things," Naruto confessed, though the evident of anger in his voice made it clear he had always wanted this outcome. "You could have attacked any other part of out world, but you choose Konoha. Why?"

Snorting, Kyuubi jumped in their direction, forcing everyone to move away as the large beast came crashing down between them all. "You assume I'll answer your question or be goaded into a useless conversation with you."

The blond jumped up at the nine-tailed fox, a Rasengan already in hand, and drove it straight into his exposed shoulder. Naruto knew that it wasn't causing pain to it because he wasn't feeling any pain short of a tiny tickle where the attack was affecting him. Realizing this, he jumped up and ran along his fur towards his face. Kyuubi pawed the earth and then jumped as high as he could. The force from his jump was enough to throw the blond off him and send him towards the ground that Kyuubi was now diving down towards, claws at the ready.

A large purple ball flew up and caught the fox in the face, causing nothing more than annoyance even as it exploded in his face. Syndra flew from the protective shield of Karma's spell and hurled all of her dark energy at the creature. It snorted at her when it landed and charged a large purple ball of death in its mouth.

Lux ran from her cover, her magical might drained to near nothing as she channeled it to the center of her wand to form a tiny speck of light. With a tearful cry she fired her magic straight at the orb, destroying it and causing the fox and Naruto to yell out in pain from the resulting heat and concussive force from the blast.

One of its mighty tails struck the land and raised a mountain and storm of debris that rained down on the group.

Kyuubi snarled and snapped at the air before pawing at the ground in the hopes of killing the young woman. Even when he thought he crushed her she was able to slip away. Growing tired, he threw his head back and blasted the earth with small versions of his power. The large Bijuu felt a sharp pain in the back of his left ear and spun around as if he were chasing after his tail to throw the assailant off his form. No sooner had he tossed her off did he feel the coldest of touches against his left flank and he shouted in surprise.

Naruto left out a battle cry as he landed on its nose and ran up with a fist drawn back. Kyuubi's eyes widened as the blond drove the bladed gauntlet on his left hand into his right eye and dragged it upwards, cutting the eye in half and blinding him. Both yelled out in pain and closed their respective eye as the ocular organ gushed from the open wound.

"DAMN YOU!" Kyuubi charged another Bijuudama and immediately fired it in the direction Naruto had jumped to escape him. The orb flew past him as he had charged and fired it too quickly while being blind in his right eye. It still fell and hit land, resulting in a large dust storm and wave of heat that scorched the earth and shoved everyone to the ground.

Naruto was the first to get back up and went charged at the creature. He slashed at his legs with his weapons, drawing blood and feel tendons and muscle be cut apart on him as well.

"Because of you…" Naruto shouted, his eye hardened and his strength growing.

"Because of you…" Kyuubi smashed a fist into the spot where Naruto was and felt him disappear and reappear under him, his weapons cutting through his flesh at his chest.

"…I had to endure so much pain…" Naruto charged a large Rasengan than normal and thrust it up in Kyuubi's chest. His ribcage broke and he tasted blood in his mouth.

"…I was treated as nothing but a weapon…" Kyuubi jumped up into the air, throwing Naruto off him and charging another Bijuudama to finish him off.

"YOU NEED TO BE FORGOTTEN!" Naruto screamed at him, a large Rasengan in hand. He vanished from sight and appeared above him. Kyuubi looked up, the attack ready to be fired at point blank range. "DIE!" Naruto thrust the jutsu forward into the giant purple orb of death.

Kyuubi lost control of his attack and it glowed white hot before both host and prisoner could react to it. A flash and cry of thunder hit so hard that it deafened everyone and flattened the earth at the center of the two attacks. The water was shoved back and flash boiled from the heat. Barriers bubbled and cracked and armor melted to the flesh of those to close to the insane heat.

And then the blast appeared.

A towering pillar of flame so tall it reached the clouds and burnt them away. The very sky turned orange and ash fell from the heavens as if to mourn the two of them amongst the twister of fire.

There was a long moment of silence for the unbelievable that had happened until it was broken by Syndra collapsing in tears. Everyone seemed to snap from their confusion and look towards the water as it came rushing back. The mirror wielding woman presented her mirror and the ocean collapsed upon itself, bringing no harm with it. But as soon as the water crashed to a sudden stillness it erupted again as Azir and Mordekaiser burst forth to attack.

Jax stepped between the woman and the two approaching fighters and jumped off a hasty summoned sand warrior's shoulder to smack the former ruler of the Shadow Isles in the head with his lamppost. His helmet flew from his shoulder and revealed the suit to be hollow. This didn't stop Mordekaiser in the slightest as he reeled back and brought his mace down upon the Ionian Mercenary's head, killing him instantly.

Nasus was quick to step up and put down his now former emperor. The untimely arrival of Renekton put an immediate halt to his efforts as he stopped his staff from connecting with Azir's head. Shoving him back, Renekton took his stance beside his emperor and grew in size as he summoned his magical might to fight his brother.

A cry of pain came from the west.

Magical batteries and archers died as a speeding blur darted through the smoke riding atop a horse. A leaver rifle in one hand and a large war glaive in the other, the figure rode his stallion through their forces firing on them with his rifle.

Growling, the Curator of the Sands jumped back to defend the remaining warriors from the lone rider.

"Its Hecarim!" Thresh screamed.

Nasus grunted as the Warhorse made a charge for him. Renekton beat him to the punch and began his assault on his brother with Azir giving him aid from afar.

"We need to fall back!" Irelia ordered. Nasus gave her a hard look from over his shoulder as he forced his brother back and then looked back at the others around her. They were tired. Wounded. DYING. They had no more reserves. A wall would do them no good. What could a wall do for them against warriors like these? "Fall back! That's an order!"

Smoke bombs exploded around him and Nasus reluctantly agreed. A signal flare went up in the distance ordering surviving soldiers from Demacia and the alliance to do the same and regroup for their soon to be final assault.

(-)

They fought.

They lost.

They died.

They were remade and fought again.

And lost again.

And died again.

And were remade again… and again.

The loop was endless. Neither warrior relenting. Their hate unbound. Their desires left known to the other. The world shattered and exploded into a never-ending fire made of blood and bodies and buildings and molten earth. Gunfire filled the air and mixed with bolts of energy and hail storms of arrows with no end in sight.

It was righteous. It was ugly. It was sinful.

It was beautiful and neither Naruto nor Kyuubi could find no fault in their justification for bringing so much death to the world around them. They didn't notice it. They didn't care. They hated each other. The other had to die, even if it meant their own deaths in the process.

Kyuubi slammed a paw against the ground and threw his head back to gather fire in mouth. Naruto flipped through several seals and took a deep breath. Both exhaled at the same time and spat a torrent of fire at the other. The two attacks collided and canceled the other out. Once they both stopped they charged each other again. Naruto threw his gauntlet forward with the blades out and caught the large fox in the right eye again, blinding both of them once more. Kyuubi howled in rage and thrust his paw forward for Naruto's head. The blond jerked to the side but lost his left ear in the process with Kyuubi suffering the same thing.

Sliding around his large paw, the blond jumped up and delivered a jaw breaking kick to the side of his maw that lodged two teeth free from his mouth. Both spat them out at the same time. The large fox whipped around like a bucking bronc to throw the blond off him. Naruto got thrown off and crashed along the ground hard and rolled to a stop against a large upturned chunk of earth gasping for air. Kyuubi walked to him on shaky legs before he collapsed to the ground short of breath.

Hours passed before either moved.

Kyuubi was the first to move and slowly he made his way to the blond. He stared down at the glaring human that had caused him so many problems before thrusting a single claw forward to spear him in the chest. He felt the pain as well. His chest caved in and then he was broken in two right beside his dying host. For moment, he smiled and then he felt warm tears slid down his cheeks.

It shouldn't be this way.

It has to be this way.

The world grew cold. They died and were shortly reborn by the touch of another.

Neither of you see the suffering of the other, the figure thought as he remade them. You may never see the light and heaven my not know your name. You may not know it, but you're both looking for the thing you ignore the most. Perhaps this time you'll see the light and see it. You deserve this more than anyone else.

Naruto awoke first and looked around to the castle he stood atop of. "Is this Demacia?" He peered over the edge of the wall and saw only snow for miles upon miles. Confused, he dropped off the wall and began walking. He dusted off the snow in several spots and found vibrant green grass. As he walked further away from the castle he came upon a forest and simply stared at it before turning away to walk back to the castle but stopped when he noticed that said castle was gone and replaced with a mass of graves.

What is going on?

He stopped at the first one and gently dusted some of the snow off of the front of it. "Here lies Irelia. Lover to Riven. Hero of Ionia." He got to his feet and moved to another. "Here lies Syndra. Loved to Naruto Uzumaki." Blinking, he rushed to another. It belonged to Jax. Another belonged to Lux, Shen, Katarina, and Nasus. He finally came to a stop as the last one and stared down at it in confusion. "Here lies Uzumaki Naruto. Lover to Syndra. Leader of the Timeless Seven."

He moved away from the graves and looked back at the forest.

"I'm not dead though. What is…?" A twig snapped and he looked in the direction of the sound. A single shadow darted across the land. "Hey! Wait!"

He rushed into the forest and stopped when he heard a voice. "What are you doing? I told you not to talk to him!"

"Let's get out of here!"

"Watch out! It's… It's him again!"

Naruto felt his breath hitch in his chest. His heart began to hurt. He remembered this. This pain was familiar. These voices were familiar. No… I'm not… This isn't happening!

"Why don't you just go away?! Just away you… you freak!"

"Freak!"

"Freak!"

"Freak! Why don't you die!"

"Stop it!" Naruto shouted, collapsing to his knees and holding his head. "I didn't want this! I didn't ask for any of this!" He shouted to the voices. "You think I wanted to become a weapon for Konoha? I never got a choice in the matter! I never had a say in it!" Tears formed in his eyes.

"You hated your world and all people. And thought about destroying both!"

Naruto slowly glanced in the direction of the voice. A man with rags covering his entire form was birthed from the shadows. Naruto got to his feet and glared at the figure.

"But you endured. You endured so much in the hopes of achieving more. You cried for your enemies and called them your friend. You saved the innocent and the guilty. You felt the same pain as many like you who bore the pain of being hurt by your common enemy. Your world is gone, yet you cry for it. Even without knowing it, you know your world is dead. So, you cry for it because you know nothing else to do for it." For a moment, the figure seemed to look elsewhere before returning his gaze to the Jinchuuriki. "Moving on doesn't mean you forget about things. It just means you have to accept what's happened and continue living."

"And how should I do that?" Naruto's knuckles turned white and blood seeped from between his fingers. "What gives you the right to lecture me?!"

"I'm only telling you what you won't tell yourself. I believe I have earned that right. Just as you have earned the right the hear the words you've never heard before from another who endures like you. But you are like him as well. You never know what you got till its gone forever. But I suppose that's what happens when you lived with a closed heart."

The figure glanced to the right and then shrugged.

"Perhaps this time you will see the light. My only real advice is the thing you ignore which is exactly what you're looking for." A golden gauntlet came out from under his rags. He snapped his fingers and he disappeared in a shimmer of witch light from the sky above.

Grumbling to himself, Naruto started walking randomly through the forest for a moment before stopping and heading back to the graves.

Kyuubi sneezed himself awake and looked around in a drunken haze before his eyes rested on the virgin snow that had covered most of his form. Shaking himself clean of the snow, he glanced up at the heavens and stared intently at the gray clouds that continued to grow in size.

Licking his lips, he moved to the only scent he could detect that was human. It wasn't hard to figure out who it was. He was the only one here. That always seemed to be the case.

The large fox marched through the snow for what felt like days before finally stumbling across a castle. He sniffed the air and detected no life, yet he knew he could sense it just beyond the wall.

"Tell me where should I go?" Kyuubi slowly looked to his right at a tower that was untouched by snow. A figure in rags stood at the top, his face covered and his form doubled over as if he were trying to look down on him. "Should I go to the left where nothing is right…" He gestured with a golden colored gauntlet to the left where people slowly came into existence and moved with purpose, ignoring him, "…or to the right, where nothing is left?" A red colored gauntlet motioned this time and only ruin could be seen.

Kyuubi stared at the figure that he knew couldn't be there.

"Why do you this?" Kyuubi asked after an eternity of silence. The figure lowered their arms and stood up straight. Kyuubi got the impression that the figure was more than likely just annoyed by the fact he didn't answer him. "Every time I end up here, you ask the same question. It's starting to grate on me."

It stared at him before pointing at him, almost as though it were about to caste some sort of judgment on him with a single golden talon. "You always choose to never answer my question. You never answer a single one of them."

"Why answer a pointless question when you have yet to give all the directional choices?"

"So, you would go forward in search of something behind you or would rather go back and retrace your steps to a better tomorrow? You know that doesn't sound nearly as inspiring, even if it true with the both of you."

Kyuubi scrutinized the figure before turned his attention to a ray of light that was thrust upon the world by parting clouds.

"For someone who laughs all the time, he must know true agony." The figure reached up to the sky. "I'm telling you this because you don't get it. You think you get it. Which is not the same as actually getting it. Get it?" Kyuubi slammed a paw on the tower as the figure disappeared.

Kyuubi snorted as he started making his way around the castle in search of life that may or may not be his bastard of a host. Even if he couldn't find him and kill him, being alone was better than being around that idiot or any other human for that matter. Why did they always have to bother him? He spent hundreds of years alone and happy watching the humans misuse his fathers' gift to them. He watched them kill each other and break alliances just as quickly as they made them. They lived such stupid, little, insignificant lives and spent most of it simply killing each other.

He walked circles around the castle for hours before stopping and lying down at the castle gate. He simply stared at the door, waiting and urging it to open. Sleep took him after only a few minutes. When he awoke, he wasn't surprised to be covered by snow. What he was surprised by was the form of Naruto sitting in front of grave, his back to him and his head down.

Slowly getting to his feet, causing a mountain of snow to fall from his form, and he slowly crept towards him until he was towering over him, his paw raised in preparation to crush him.

"It hurts… being alone." Naruto didn't face him.

Kyuubi simply stared at him in wonder. Was it possibly Naruto was giving up? That wasn't like him. But then again… The blond Jinchuuriki had always been one to pull something from nothing. He made miracles happen daily. He made friends with enemies, made people with bad intentions cry from his words, and make promises so big that one would simply think it impossible to do.

"I used to think a hero was someone who stood atop his foes, heroically standing in a cool pose, as if to show their strength to the world. They were unmatched. Unbeatable. A legend among mortals." He slowly shook his head. "I suppose somethings never change. The child in me still sees the world in that light. That's why I never liked being called a hero. I never did any of those things. I never stood heroically over my beaten enemies. My strength is nothing but an illusion, created by you and your power. But I think that's wrong." He slowly turned to face the being of Chakra and looked him in the eye. "What do you think a hero is?"

Kyuubi gently put his paw down and tilted his head and squinted his eyes as if he were trying to get a better look at him. Naruto didn't want to fight? Why did he want to talk now? What the hell. Might as well humor him. "A hero is someone who wins and never loses. They overcome absurd numbers and manages to save the day."

Naruto nodded and turned back to the grave he sat in front of. Kyuubi snorted and raised his paw to attack but then thought better of it and moved closer to the blond and lowered his form so that he could look at the grave. He couldn't see what name was etched upon it from that snow that covered it, but he got that part of it was about a hero of Ionia.

"I think a hero is not one that never falls. A hero is the one that gets up, again and again, never losing sight of their dream." Naruto laughed. "Ero-Sennin was the best person in my life. He taught me many things. He taught me that a smile doesn't always mean a person is happy. Sometimes it simply means they are strong enough to face their problems." He laughed and brushed the snow away from the grave. "He once told me that the true measure of a shinobi is not how he lives, but how he dies." He looked up at the large fox, his eyes hard for a moment before getting up. "I think that's what a hero is. Which is why I find it so strange you would be labeled a hero of Ionia when you're trying to destroy it, Kurama."

Kyuubi blinked a few times before peering down at the tombstone. Sure enough, his name AND title as the Kyuubi no Kitsune of Hi no Kuni, was there on it. He wasn't sure if he should be pleased by this, as he'd never been recognized as anything but a monster, or annoyed and spiteful because someone was stupid enough to mourn him here. What did he ever do for these people? He destroyed Demacia in his attempts to escape from Naruto when the seal was at its weakest. Why mourn him? Why burry him? Also, was the grave empty because there were too many bodies close by to it unless it was empty, then in which case, he found another reason to be pissed, if only because it meant that his corpse, if he left one behind, was out there lying in the snow or sun, just rotting away.

"I guess it's only fair I be surprised you have a name. I always thought your name was Kyuubi, but I guess that makes sense to be a title, and not a name. Go figure. Human ignorance at its finest, flee bag."

Kurama smashed his paw on the grave and Naruto. When he felt the familiar sensation of Naruto exploded beneath him, he knew he had smashed only a clone. Their constant fighting had proved that now. He could never kill the real one without dying as well. It was a never-fucking-ending loop that he wanted over and done.

"And here I thought you were trying to have a heart-to-heart with me."

"As if I'd do something that stupid."

Naruto appeared on top of a tower with a Rasengan in hand. Kurama snorted and got ready for a fight. Naruto lunged forward, his hand thrust forward to catch Kurama in the eye. Kurama jumped back to avoid the attack and simply stared at the brazen human and his suicidal tactics. Constantly dying and being reborn might have done some serious damage to his brain… or what was left of it.

Kurama tilted his head at him and then sat down on his haunches and propped his chin in his hand as he leaned down to inspect the angry Jinchuuriki. "This feels oddly backwards to me for some reason." Naruto stared up at the Kyuubi with narrowed eyes before clenching his jaw and snorting at him. "Yeah… this really is backwards. A higher power might have a truly wicked sense of humor if I'm the one wanting to speak reason."

"Speak reason?" Naruto rolled his eyes. "All you've ever done is yell at me, threaten me with death and those precious to me, and escaping me, which would result in my death. Why, after years of being a fucking pain in my ass, do you want to speak reason with me?"

"Because this is clearly the only way to get out of here."

Naruto rolled his eyes again and charged the beast. Kurama rolled away and let the blond sail by him without lifting a single tail to challenge him. Naruto landed a few feet away from where the Kyuubi had previously been and made another lung for him.

This continued for several minutes before Naruto stopped and simply stared at him. "Why are you suddenly wanting to talk and not fight? That's all you ever do is bitch and fight! That's all we've done for the past… past…" Naruto stopped and looked around.

"Yeah! We've been at this for years. Hundreds of years at this point. Stuck in this goddamn loop with no end in sight. This shit sucks. I hate you. I hate you so much that I want to kill you. NO! I NEED to kill you. But for some fucking reasons every time we kill one another, we end up back here. It's always been this way. Seems that it will never be different unless something changes. I'm willing to do something different." And with that, he shoved his paw straight through his heart and yanked it out, killing both of them in instantly. Kurama snapped awake in the winter snow and screamed. "FUCKING GOD DAMN IT! WHY? WHY CAN'T WE END THIS?!"

His yell pierced the heavens and the fox began thrashing the world around him. He broke flesh against cold earth and didn't stop until he was all screamed out. He slumped over and cried for the first time since his father died. It hurt more now than it did then.

"Kurama, why are you so distraught?" Spoke a gentle and old voice.

Slowly, the large fox turned towards the voice. He saw a man in white robs with black marking hovering a few inches above the ground. His eyes, all three of them, were closed, and his head was down. Gray hair covered his head and sported a long pointy beard that might have reached the ground had it not pooled in his lap.

"…Father…? How…" His words hitched in his throat and he slowly moved to the old man and collapsed in front of him, his head down and tears streaming from his eyes. "How are you here?"

The old man smiled and reached out to gently caress Kurama's nose. He leaned in to it and shut his eyes tightly as his fathers' touch made him warm for the first time in years. "You have suffered so much. I never wished this life for you. For any of you, for that matter. I had hoped that in time, you would work with the humans, find balance in the world, and use your powers to help them. I know that they have clearly denied you this and filled your mind, body and soul with only hatred. You have only known bitterness and sorrow. I should have been there for you. I should have done more. But my gifts were turned to weapons of war. You may have never directly fought your brothers and sisters, but your power was used for such things."

"The humans. They did this! You had nothing to do with it!"

"But I could have done more when I was alive. Should have done more. But I didn't. Because I had faith in them. I knew you would endure hardships. You are my children, pieces of something more, and wield power greater than anyone else alive back then." His smile faded and a single tear came from the old mans' eyes. "Do you have anything to say in your defense to this, Naruto?" Kurama glanced behind his father and saw the blond staring at them with saddened eyes.

"No. What my people did to him was wrong. But he attacked… and we fought back. I was just a child. I never asked for him to be put in me. But I'm sure no one ever raised their hand for this life." He moved to the side and looked up at the large fox. "Your kind has thrown our world into discord. You haven't been the direct cause, but I know our world is really messed up. People have sought power to kill another because they killed someone close to them. Our system is a convoluted one with no end to the cycle of hatred. Someone is attacked, so they retaliate. That's how our world works."

"This one is no different."

"But there are people taking strides to make it better. I know the Kinkou system of balance is just as broken, if not more so, because they refuse to let the world change. They want to keep it the same. People like Zed are ones who branch out and take things too far. Demacia believes that their justice is the worlds justice. Noxus believes that strength is justice and those that are weak should be servants to the strong. But there are people in Ionia that believe justice is peace and that it can only come through understanding. Perhaps they are right. And if they are, I have sinned just as much as you have. If anything, you are stronger than me because you did what I couldn't and wouldn't."

The silence that fell between them was calming. The old man smiled and produced a black staff with wings dangling from it. "Kurama, my son, I have made terrible mistakes in my life, but you and your siblings were not one of them. You have been hated, tainted even, by the very thing I fought to keep from happening. I wanted people to understand one another. That is why I gifted them with my power and teachings. But like them, you are both lost and have inflicted wounds upon yourself. You must heal. Walk the earth on two feet as I do. Find value in humility. Then you will find peace."

His staff glowed and he gestured to the two to grab it.

Naruto grabbed one side of it and Kurama touched the other with a single claw. Power flooded them and Naruto felt a sense of calmness he'd never achieved with others when they attempted to teach him meditation. For once, he felt his mind clear and all distractions leave him.

Kurama felt power flood him and a great pain run through him as he shrank in size. His single turned into a finger that eventually joined the others into a human hand. His red fur vanished and was replaced with tanned flesh. Red hair that reached to the small of his back covered his head and nine red tails swayed behind him. A golden light enveloped him and robes similar to his father covered his form. The staff that was now in his hand grew until it was just long enough for him to use as a weapon.

"I am declaring peace, not just with you, but with this world as well. But I do so with weapons in my hand that I now give to you." The old man declared. "The choice I'm making may also be evil. However, I'm giving you the power to put a halt to this string of battles… which has no end in sight!" Naruto took a step back and stared at the old man and then Kurama. "The both of you deserve a life of peace. I only ask that you use my power to aid save this world. Because like you, they deserve to know peace as well. Now do what I never could for our world."

The two former enemies, jailer and prisoner looked at one another and shared an uneasy smile before the old man disappeared and left behind a tombstone he'd been sitting atop of. Kurama glanced at it and read his name off. "Here lies Kurama. Lover to Karma. Hero of Ionia."

Chuckling, Naruto gave him a smile. "I don't think I like the idea of being Karma's lover, but I'd be surprised if it's the same one that raised me."

Kurama rolled his eyes and let his power flow through the staff to turn it into a pair of longswords that glowed bright red with power. "I'm not sure I like that tone you're using… son." Naruto laughed and Kurama shook his head. "Let's go be heroes then. Let's save Ionia, Leader of the Timeless Seven."

A flash of light and they were gone from the world of snow.
