Yes, it's that time again! Typhlosion8's bored, so here I am writing another story!

Disclaimer: I do not own Pokèmon because Kit still has it. *angry pout*

Ash's POV

When they asked me if I wanted to be a part of a kid's show, I thought it would be fun. Why wouldn't it be?

"Scene 3, take 1. Action!"

"Oh, hi Pikachu." I said, smiling.

As soon as I saw the sparking cheeks, I knew what was next. It was pretty obvious.

"Pikachu!"

The electricity was powerful! I mean, I know it had to look realistic, but I felt numb all over! After the scene, Pikachu "apologized". Luckily, we had Meowth there, the company's Pokèmon translator. He worked with them to make sure that Pokèmon actors were treated fairly.

"Pika Pikachu Pi Pikachu Pika Pi Pikachu Kachu Pika," the rodent said, and Meowth listened before repeating it to me.

"Pikachu says that you didn't look like you'd actually been shocked. He said that if you don't look better next time, he'll get the director to replace you."

It was then that I knew that working with Pikachu was going to be hard. I hoped that the other Pokèmon actors weren't so bad, but I learned pretty quickly that Pokèmon actors were treated not only fairly, but better than human ones! It might have been the fact that they could breathe fire, electrocute, or just literally smash you to a pulp if you didn't hire them.

Then there were the arguments with the director. The first one was outside the lab.

"Huh? Oh yeah, right. Pikachu get in the ball now."

"Pikachu Pi Kachu Pika Chu."

"Get in the ball now."

"Pika Pikachu!"

"Get in!"

"PIKA!"

"Cut! Ash, Pikachu, what's the problem? Why are you arguing?"

"Pikachu won't get in the Pokèball!"

"Pika Pikachu Pi Kachu Pi Pika!"

Once again, Meowth came to the rescue. After a quick discussion with Pikachu, he relayed it to the director.

"Pikachu doesn't like being in a Pokèball. You'll have to leave him out."

The director looked frustrated.

"How is it a Pokèmon in a Pokèmon show if it doesn't go into it's Pokèball? All Pokèmon do! We'll have to find a different one!"

"PIKA PIKACHU PIKA!"

Meowth had to translate once more.

"Pikachu says that by swapping Pokèmon, you're discriminating against him because of his fear of confined spaces and that he could sue you for more than you'll ever have."

So I was stuck being a trainer in a show with a Pikachu that sat on my shoulder all day. You wouldn't believe how heavy the mouse was. My shoulders have never been the same! They're always aching now.

Misty's POV

They called me up one day and asked if I wanted to be a part of their new kids show about a Pokèmon trainer named Ash. I told them that I couldn't be away from the Gym because no one would be running it while I was gone. They told me that they would hire some people and call them my sisters. The girls would run the Gym and I'd follow the main character around because his Pikachu would destroy my bike.

I declined after seeing the girls. All they cared about was makeup! I couldn't leave my Gym to three idiots who said 'like' at least ten times in a sentence!

Ash's POV

Our "wonderful" director said that we needed to spice things up, so he invented Team Rocket, three villans that would steal other people's Pokèmon and give them to their Boss. The actors they hired, Musashi and Kojirō, were very friendly to me. we would chat for a while after a particularly hard scene. Their debut was impressive, but the director thought that it lacked something special. One stupid suggestion later, and Meowth, our translator, was a member of Team Rocket.

Our show finally took me to Pewter City, where I was going to get the Boulder Badge. I was really excited. Even though I was on a show, I could still be in a battle with Pikachu and maybe I would actually win the whole league with my scripted team.

The the "amazing" director told me that I wasn't going to really battle Onix. I was going to have Pikachu set off the sprinklers in a rematch against Brock and win once I lost the first time using an Electric type. What bugged me was that I knew Electric types wouldn't effect Onix because it was part Ground, and that the show was making me look stupid.

I went along with it, though, because this show was helping my mother. She worked at a restaurant in town and barely scraped by with me living there. It was why I planned on going off on a journey to send her my winnings. But these guys popped up and here I was, Ash 'Ketchum', the weak trainer from Pallet. They even made my last name some stupid gimmick thing. Ketchum, as in "Gotta' Ketchum All!" It sounded awful, but I went along with it because that's what I do now. Go along with the crazy ideas the director thinks of.

Brock's POV

When the director asked me if I wanted to be a part of their kids show, I was reluctant to leave my family. My younger brother, Forrest, wasn't old enough to run the Gym either. I asked them how my character would be played, and they said I would be the wise older brother type, who chased girls younger than me and tried to pick them up! I said no, so they continued to call me, day and night, trying to convince me! After telling them no repeatedly, I finally called Officer Jenny, who told them that they had to leave Pewter City and stop calling me. They were gone in a flash.

Ash's POV

The Bulbasaur who played my Bulbasaur was a snooty fellow who didn't like me much. The Squirtle was really shy and seemed to be frightened of me, and the Charmander was a great actress. She played the male role really well. When she said that she was going to evolve soon, the director turned her new character into a rude, disobedient Pokèmon who blew real Flamethrowers at me. I would go to the hospital almost every week with 3rd degree burns on my head, and my hair was gone now. I wore a wig on screen, and off screen I covered it up with my hat. Charmeleon would apologize repeatedly through Meowth, and I told her it wasn't really her fault.

Butterfree's POV

Translated by Meowth

When they said that they were laying me off because of budget cuts, I used Stun Spore on the whole room, paralyzing the director, producer, and any assisting people as well.

That's probably why I was never asked to return.

Ash's POV

When we went out into the mountains for a shooting, the director decided to have me search for Pokèmon Fossils and end up running into Team Rocket. Unfortunately, Pikachu short-circuited some important wires and I ended up under tons of rubble with Jessie, James, Meowth, and a cameraman because of an explosion. And just my luck, the camera was still working.

Things got dangerous fast when actual prehistoric Pokèmon came out and attacked us! An Aerodactyl grabbed me and managed to get out of the rubble and into the sky! Charmeleon, worried, began yelling at the dinosaur, but that didn't help, so she evolved and flew after it! Of course, a few Flamethrowers missed, and the director told me to make it look like charizard was trying to hit me, but in the end, I was okay.

Jessie and James were almost left down there with Meowth, but I got a rescue team to dig them out.

Ash's POV

When they said that they wanted me to dress as a girl to get my Celadon City Gym Badge, I thought they were bluffing.

I should have known by now that the director didn't bluff.

Ash's POV

There's a myth that Richie, a character that looks similar to me, is a different person. The truth is that I had to change my appearance and shoot the same scenes twice as two different people while the director edited the video to make it look like one scene. Sparky, the other Pikachu, couldn't be played my Pikachu because he looked like my Pikachu, so we had to get another one. Sparky was easygoing and friendly, like a polar opposite of mine.

How did I manage to get the only Pikachu in the acting business that couldn't work well with me?

Ash's POV

The director never wanted me to win the league. He had me lose to myself, aka Ritchie, and not only was I hating the stupid show I had agreed to be on, the Pokèmon League had a problem with them having me battle against a non-existent competitor. Even though I had battled in other fights with real people, they said that I couldn't lose to myself because they wouldn't enter the same person twice in the League. It wasn't allowed.

I don't know exactly what strings the director pulled, but I lost to myself and was going to a new season, the Orange Leagues, within a week.

Pidgeotto's POV

Translated by Meowth

They said that they were laying me off because the show needed some new characters. I didn't like that. When the episode came where I was going to lose to a group of Spearow and their Fearow leader, I went "off-script." I evolved into Pidgeot and defeated the Fearow. After the scene, I told the director that I was resigning. I was too powerful to be working for some kid's show. My manager could get me tons of work now as a main character now that I was stronger and could play the hero more.

As I left, I blew a Whirlwind at them as a parting gift for trying to drop me.

And that's the end of Season 1! I hope this was interesting enough, because I really want to move on to other seasons. Next up: The Orange League!

Bye Bye,

Ty8
