Hello everyone! :)

Long time no ... write (?)

I don't really know how many of you will actually read this quick note, considering I haven't updated since last March (wow... just wow.) and that many probably have lost interest in the show and, subsequently, in its fanfictions since then.

I just want to thank you all so much for reading this story, I saw all the reviews some of you left during these months asking for an update and I just figured you deserved an explanation.

I'm currently a university student and last summer alone (from May –right after classes ended– until September) I had to take 8 exams. Trust me when I say it was a lot, I still don't know how I did it but somehow I did. I also worked as a babysitter in July and August so as to gain the experience I need to become an au pair, and that required me spending 10h a day with a 1-year-old baby girl. After that came the internship I was required to do for university credits at a middle school, which lasted 2 months (3rd Oct–3rd Dec), followed by other 4 exams. I took the 3rd exam today, passed it against all odds and, if all goes well, on Wednesday I have my last university exam e-v-e-r.

On top of this, something I've actually never addressed before is the fact that I was pretty disappointed by the show, as I think many of you will understand. The S5 final episodes in particular left me feeling a mixture of anger/pain/disappointment/sadness and all was followed by complete and utter indifference. A&E keep making moronic decisions and, even though things got slightly better in S6 (and I'm very happy they decided to bring Sean back, even if it's only going to be for a short while, despite the fact that on some levels I deem this decision lame and hypocritical for lack of better terms – if you want to delve deeper into this and discuss it with me just shoot me a DM) I know they'll probably do something stupid soon... again. So on top of not having any spare time to write, I also didn't really feel inspired by the show nor the characters.

Aaaanyway, to sum it up, I just wanted to let you know that after I'm done with my exams, I'll only have my dissertation to write, which won't take long because I have an upload deadline, which is on the 20th of February. After that, I'll have 4 months of total and utter freedom during which I'm going to finish this fanfiction and hopefully write some more (mostly one-shots probably, but we'll see if I can come up with something else as well).
