Sadly, I don't own Sailor Moon or any of it's characters.
CHAPTER 3
"Escorts?! What do you mean by escorts?" Motoki exclaimed, clearly thinking he had misheard them. After all, escorts are in a sense, high end prostitutes here in Japan. He couldn't possibly imagine these innocent young girls becoming escorts, especially for a high school culture festival.
"We're not going to be like those type of escorts Motoki," Mina explained, rolling her eyes in the process.
"Of course the teacher and school wouldn't allow such inappropriate behavior to occur on school grounds."
"Well then, what did you mean by escorts?" Motoki asked again.
"She meant that we will be going out and attending to the wants and wishes of the people who will pay for our time," Makoto said.
Motoki could only stare at them all again, still confused by what he was hearing.
"Jeez Makoto, that sounds exactly like what an escort does. Ami, why don't you explain it to him?" Rei replied. Still attacking her ice cream and muttering her regrets on transferring schools to be with them all.
"Well, with all school festivals there are always your typical maid cafes or haunted house set ups." Ami started to explain.
"Our class didn't want to do something so boring. Then someone in our class mentioned about forming a type of host club where select members who are admirable for their beauty and traits are to charm and serve their guests. I heard they got this idea from some manga called Ouran High Host Club." Ami explained.
"Throughout the day we are to dress up to certain selected themes chosen by the public and then provide them conversations or do activities with them. I mean like playing games or something small like that!" Ami blushed.
"Well the class said we are supposed to flirt with our guests and make them fall in love with us. We are supposed to be the main attraction while the remainder of the class serve as maids or butlers to help the overflow of guests. Or work at making the refreshments." Minako said.
"That's sounds complicated?" Motoki questioned, thinking that it really didn't sound that bad.
"Well it is a problem that we are being asked to flirt to garner attention and business for our class." Rei huffed.
"But the real problem is at the end of the culture festival. To make the festival an overall success for the whole school, we were made as the top prize for 5 visitors who come to the festival. Essentially we have to go on a date with the winners for a whole day." Ami finished.
Motoki now understood why they were all so worried. Having met all of their boyfriends, this set up will not end up well for the girls, and especially for their prospective future dates.
"Well, I don't really see how you can get out of this situation other than changing your whole class theme. I bet you've all tried to reason yourselves out of it but your class overruled you all, right?" He pondered, frown lines appearing on his forehead, trying to think of a solution to their problem.
All ladies were silent, wondering why they had the bad luck of being the prizes.
"Sorry ladies, seems like it's inevitable that your boyfriends will find out. Your best bet is to have each of your partners compete and win. That way they can't be mad since the dates are with them and not with some strangers." Motoki reasoned.
Suddenly he had a bright and amused expression.
"You know, in a way it would be interesting to see them compete for your attention," he laughed out loud, imaging what trials each man will go through with other young teenage boys.
"Lets see how your gladiator-like boyfriends will fare amongst the determination of young teenage boy infatuation," he merrily sang while walking back to the counter.
The girls could only stare after him, imagining the headache inducing scenario unfolding before them in their near future.
