A/N- I know that it has been forever since I updated this story. I decided to reread and rework the outline to give me so motivation to not only come back to this story, but to write. It worked. I want to clarify some mistakes I made. Andrew is Fitz's ex-best friend who slept with Melody. I have made the mistake of using various versions of her name, but it is Melody. Stephen is Fitz's business partner and friend. Finally, in the last chapter I introduced a new character from Olivia's past. I said her old friend's name was Stephen. It was an error on my part. His name is Marcus. Sorry for any confusion. Now to the update.

Six months later

Olivia was sitting in her office at home. They had just gotten back from Jamaica. Harrison and Alice had tied the knot in a beautiful destination wedding. The twins were the flower girl and ring bearer. Olivia was Alice's matron of honor. Fitz was Harrison's best man. Karen got her first solo paying gig, because she was the photographer and videographer for the couple.

She was extremely excited when she was offered the job and took it seriously. From the few shots that she was able to see she knew that they would be happy with the finished product, and Karen would be able to add to her portfolio.

As much as she needed to work she was exhausted. She decided that she would take a nap so that she could focus later.

She figured that an hour would be more than enough time. She didn't even remember her head hitting the pillow.

She was even more surprised when she awakens by her husband kissing her cheek.

She turned and looked at him, "What are you doing home from work so early?"

"Honey, it is 6:00."

Olivia jumped up, "Oh my God! I was only going to sleep an hour."

Fitz started laughing.

"It's not funny…"

"It kinda is. We both know that you are pregnant. Normal Olivia can go 24 hours."

Olivia sighed, "It is not that I don't believe you I just didn't want the spot light on me. Harrison deserved his moment. Not only was he getting married, but he secured two multi-million-dollar accounts. You have increased Zack's portfolio, and he officially broke ground on the resort in Melbourne. Karen was working hard on the wedding. I didn't want any attention on me."

Fitz nodded and pulled her onto his lap, "Well we are past that. I think we need to take care of you now."

"I don't disagree. Before I laid down I made an appointment with the doctor for in the morning after we drop the twins off at their program."

"We…"

Olivia looked at him, "I want to experience it all with you. We could run out and get a pregnancy test, but with the doctor being able to get me in tomorrow I thought no need. If I am indeed pregnant I want to experience finding out with you there."

"I want that too. How is Marcus? I haven't seen him in a minute."

"The last time that I talked to him he was fine. He got a call from a friend who needed him so I haven't heard from him in a couple of days."

"Since it is late how about we order pizza tonight?"

"Sounds good. Can you also get me a salad?"

Fitz nodded

"I'm going to answer some emails while we wait for dinner. I'll handle bed duty tonight."

Fitz shook his head, "Handle your business. I've got the kids."

Olivia got up and kissed him. She went out and spoke to the kids before heading to the office.

She had barely gotten through two emails when her phone rang. She saw that it was Marcus.

"Hi Marcus…"

"Hi Liv, is everything okay?"

"Yeah, I just think all of the travel and work is catching up to me."

Marcus was quiet. Olivia quickly caught it.

"Marcus is everything okay your way?"

"Liv, I know that you are tired, and you hired me to have your back, but I need a favor?"

"Yes, you are my employee, but you are my friend first. What do you need?"

"I need a couple of extra days. My friend is having a hard time, and I will explain everything when I get back. Right now, he needs me personally as well as my professional opinion."

When Olivia heard the last part, she had an idea of who he was talking about, but she didn't ask any questions. She trusted Marcus.

"Take all the time you need. We are ahead on the project. We can talk when you are ready."

"Thanks Liv. This means more to me than I can explain at the moment."

"That's what friends are for."

The next morning, they got the kids settled before they headed to Olivia's doctor's appointment. Olivia was a little nervous since she was seeing a new doctor, but she had spoken with several of the women at the Coke office, and they all recommended the same doctor.

Dr. Jennifer Williams walked into the room, "Mr. & Mrs. Grant, it is a pleasure to meet you."

Olivia smiled. She loved her demeanor. "You as well. You come highly recommended Dr. Williams. I wasn't sure if I would be able to get in and see you."

"Thank you. I have worked hard to build my practice, and I am now at a place where I can be selective on the patients I want to take in. I'm really hands on so although I could have a large practice I prefer a more intimate practice."

Olivia smiled at Fitz. He knew she was happy with everything that she was hearing.

"I have heard nothing but great things about you as well Mrs. Grant. Do you have any questions or concerns for me personally? I want you to be one hundred percent certain that we are comfortable with each other. I want this experience to be special for you."

Olivia nodded and looked at her husband. "Livvie, I don't have any specific questions at the moment."

Olivia looked at the doctor, "I am comfortable with you taking care of me. I guess my questions depend on whether or not we are expanding our family."

Dr. Williams smiled, "That is fair. Well I won't keep you in suspense. You are indeed expanding your family."

Olivia immediately began to cry. Fitz got up and pulled her in her arms. After a couple of minutes, she composed herself.

She looked at the doctor, "I'm sorry. I don't know where they came from."

"Never apologize for bringing precious life into this world. I'm going to give you guys a few minutes alone while I get the rest of your lab results back, and then we will look at your baby."

Once she left Fitz looked at his wife, "Are you okay?"

"More than okay?"

"Are you happy about this?"

Olivia looked him in the eyes, "I am more than happy. If I wasn't ready I would have never gotten off birth control. Marcus has settled in nicely, and I have no concerns when it comes time for me to take leave."

Fitz kissed her forehead, "I just had to make sure."

"Thank you for making sure I am okay. It gives me a moment to process my thoughts, and make sure that I am really okay."

The couple enjoyed a few seconds to themselves before the doctor came back in.

She asked, "Before we talk about you and the baby did you think of any other questions for me."

Olivia nodded, "I would like to have my children involved. The twins are young, and I want them to be part of the process. Our oldest will want to journal this through photography."

"That won't be a problem. I welcome the children being a part of the process. It often helps to ease their anxiety I have learned."

"The only other question I have is about my nausea. I had some morning sickness, but it didn't seem to be this bad with the twins."

"Each pregnancy is different."

"I can give you something to help ease the nausea. Of course, you will need to watch your stress level. I know that your job is stressful, and that when you are in the mist of a case it can get hard to remember to think about yourself."

"You are right, but I have a wonderful husband who keeps me in check. He would tell me when I need to pause."

"Good, well the only other thing we need to discuss before the ultrasound is your HCG levels."

Fitz & Olivia gasped. They already knew where the doctor was going with this.

Fitz looked at his wife.

Olivia whispered, "Are we having twins again?"

Dr. Williams said, "Your levels indicate that you are, and the ultrasound should confirm that for us."

Olivia was calmer that Fitz imagined that she would be.

"Okay, then let's find out."

A few minutes later the ultrasound indeed confirmed that the couple were expecting twins again.

The doctor let them know that Olivia was eight weeks along, but both babies were fine. She went over a couple more pieces of information and ordered Olivia's medicine. She had a pharmacy in her building, so they didn't have to worry about going to a pharmacy to pick anything up. Once she made sure that the couple didn't have any more questions for her she excused herself.

As soon as the door closed Fitz stood up and looked at his wife. She caressed his cheek, "I'm fine right now. I don't know if I'll have a moment down the road, but at this moment I am at peace. I'm not scared or worried. I know what it is like to carry twins, and work will be fine. Fortunately, with Marcus here we are ahead on the project, and he knows everything so if I wake up one morning and I can't go I won't. If I am put on bedrest then so be it. I have everything I need at home. Marcus can always come to me or he can work out of the office at home. I'm not trying to create problems where there are none."

Fitz had to admit that he was shocked but pleased with his wife's reaction. He decided not to question her further.

He helped her up and get dressed while they were waiting on the doctor to come back in.

Fitz said, "I think Nana already suspects you are pregnant."

"I am not surprised."

"Are we going to tell her?"

"Yes, I need her support, but I would like to get out of the first trimester before we tell everyone else. We can do something special."

"Whatever you want babe."

Olivia woke up to her grandmother bringing in a tray. Olivia looked up at her and smiled.

"You came in and went straight to sleep. I thought you could use a snack before dinner."

"I am not sure that I can hold much down."

"That is why I brought you cracker and tea."

Olivia looked at her and smiled, "Fitz said he thought you knew."

Nana put the tray down and pulled Olivia in her arms. Both had tears in their eyes.

Velma pulled back, "I'm really happy for the both of you. Was this planned or a surprise?"

"We have been trying for a bit. We are going to wait before telling everyone else."

"I understand. Will you at least tell me how the baby is?"

Olivia smiled, "The babies are doing just fine…"

Velma nodded and got up. When she got to the door she realized what Olivia said and turned around.

"Babies as in two again…"

Olivia nodded.

Velma walked back over to her, "You are really calm. Are you concerned about having twins again?"

"No, I wanted more children with Fitz. God saw fit to bless us with two children. Like I told him I might have a moment down the road, but for right now I am good."

"If you are good then so are we."

Now that Olivia knew that she was expecting it seem to make the nausea better. She went back to a light breakfast, changed her schedule, and the medicines and she felt like a human again. Along with the fact that she didn't have to travel for the foreseeable future.

It had been almost a week and Marcus had made it back in town. Fitz had an emergency and had to leave for business.

It had been hectic at times, but her grandmother had helped her when she needed.

Fitz had called her and informed her that he would be back the next morning, and he was determined to spend the day with the kids, so she could enjoy a morning at the spa. Then they were going out on the town for a rare Saturday night day.

Olivia prayed nothing put a dent in their plans.

With nothing pressing due she had only gone to her office at Coke two mornings. The rest of the time she worked from home.

She was about to call it a day when Marcus walked into her office. She could tell that he had a lot on his mind.

She immediately sat back down.

Marcus said, "We can talk another time."

"I always have time for you Marcus. Nana is picking up the twins and taking them to a playdate, and Karen is at the studio this afternoon so tell me what is going on."

"It is about Calvin…"

Olivia simply nodded. She had a hunch."

"No one is going to sign him Liv, and he is losing his endorsements. He is trying to stay strong for the public, but privately he is hurting."

Olivia sat back stunned

"Let me get this straight. Calvin Kornegay who is one of the better quarterbacks in the free agent market is not being picked up by any team."

Marcus nodded

"This all stems from him kneeling during the National Anthem."

"That is the only logical explanation. He is not a criminal. He has not had any major disciplinary issues in the league."

Olivia nodded.

"Marcus, I know that the reason that you are here is not just because Calvin can't get a job. I know that you are concerned about your friend. I am not trying to diminish that. I just know there is something else on your mind."

"You are right. Before I tell you just know that this was my idea. Calvin didn't want me to bother you, but I have to try."

"I'm all ears…"

"My personal and professional opinion is that he is not getting a job anytime soon even though he is better than several of the quarterbacks who have already been signed. I think that Calvin must look beyond the NFL. He has created a platform, and if he is going to stand by it then that is also how he is going to have to make a living. To do that I need to find a way to save his last two endorsement deals."

"Who are they with?"

"Nike and Coke…"

Olivia looked at him. Now she understood why he was in her office, and why he was so nervous. Truthfully, she would love to sink her teeth in this. She knew that Calvin was getting a raw deal, but she had to play it safe. Right now, her biggest client was Coke. She had to everyone. Even if she played every card right this could go terribly wrong.

"I need to discuss this with Fitz. I agree with your thoughts and plans, but as far as if I can get involved or associate our company with him I am not sure. Personally, I would jump at the opportunity, but I have more than myself to think about."

"I understand Liv. I really don't have any expectations, but I had to at least run it by you so I knew that I did everything that I could for him. I met Calvin in college, and he honestly filled a void that I didn't know I had when we lost touch. We bonded."

Olivia walked around and grabbed Marcus's hand, "I'm sorry that we lost touch…"

"Liv, please don't apologize…"

"I need to. Let me say this please…"

Marcus nodded

"Without you and Tiffany I am not sure I would have made it. My grandparents were my everything, but I wanted my parents. I was so lost. You saw through all the crap, but it was so much that at the time I couldn't see it. I lost so much trying to get the love of two people, and it was never going to happen. Going to North Carolina was the best decision I have ever made. I found myself and in return I now have the most important people in my life. Having you back in my life was the missing piece. I need you by my side professionally and personally. You balance me and now I can feel like I can give my family what they need with you here."

"Liv, my family situation might not have been as messed up as yours, but I needed your friendship as well."

The two shared a warm hug before the twins came running into the office.

Nana wasn't far behind them, "I'm sorry Liv…"

Olivia was kissing both when she smiled at her grandmother, "They are fine Nana. Uncle Marcus and I were just talking."

Hunter had stayed in his mom's lap, but Hayden was now sitting on Marcus's lap.

"Nana, I know you have a dinner date this evening. Why don't you get a nap before dinner? The kiddos and I will be fine."

Nana walked over and kissed everyone's forehead. When she got to Marcus she said, "Whatever it is will work itself out. Let go and he will do the work."

Marcus smiled up at Nana and nodded.

Later on that evening Karen walked through the door. She stopped by the playroom to speak to her brother and sister. After a spending a few moments with them she headed to find her mom. Olivia was relaxing in the breakfast nook when Karen walked into the kitchen.

She walked over and sat down. "Hi mom…"

"Hi honey. How was your class?"

"It was the best mom. I love taking pictures, but I didn't realize that there is so much to learn about photography. I believe that getting better at digital photography will help me down the line. There is also a class I want to take on the basics of photoshopping. If I ever decided to do an editorial I know that it might be required. I want to have it all on my resume."

"Then go for it all sweetie. Have you thought about whether or not you want to graduate early?"

"At first, I thought it would be cool, but then I talked with Stephanie. Although we don't live in the same country any more she still is my best friend. I have other friends, and I want to experience high school with them. I have plenty of time to be an adult. I want to enjoy this time."

Olivia pulled her into her arms, "I think that is a wise and mature decision."

"Do you think that I am making the right decision?"

"I think that you are making the right decision for you…"

"If you were me would you have made the same decision?"

Olivia looked her in the eyes, "Honestly, I would have made the same decision. I enjoyed high school, and not just because of the situation with my mom and dad. School classes were easy, but I learned so much about myself. I am proud of you for thinking this through."

"Thanks for allowing me to make it."

The next morning Olivia woke up to a pair of hands caressing her. She smiled, "I don't know who you are, but if my husband catches you there will be hell to pay."

"Tell him to bring it on. I'm been told I'm a tough guy. "Hi love. How are you and the babies?"

"We are great now that you are home."

"Good…"

She looked at him. He looked tired. She could tell that he had been working non-stop. She immediately thought about their date.

He stopped her, "Livvie, we are not cancelling our date."

"Fine, but please rest."

"I plan to. I spoke with Nana last night, and she is spending the weekend with her friend. We are spending the day with the kids before Uncle Marcus comes over to take over with Karen. "

"When did you have time to do all of that?"

"I found time."

Olivia would never tire of her husband taking care of their family.

After a relaxing day Olivia was putting the finishing touches on her makeup. She found a sexy little dress in her closet that she hadn't worn. Her body was already beginning to change. She wanted to feel sexy as long as she could.

A short time later she walked out the bathroom.

Fitz was putting on his watch when he heard the door opened. When he turned to look at his wife he simply smiled. He knew he would be the envy of men tonight, and he would enjoy every moment.

Olivia was wearing a blue/pink strapless fit-and-flare silk faille Oscar de la Renta cocktail dress with sequins.

He walked over and kissed her forehead, "You look beautiful honey…"

"Thanks…"

"You ready to go?"

Olivia nodded.

After telling the kids bye the couple were on their way. Olivia was a little surprised that Fitz had arranged a car.

She looked at him, "You are more than welcome to drink. I can drive us home."

"That won't be necessary but thank you for offering."

When they got in the car Olivia noticed their overnight bags. She looked at her husband.

"I know we have been traveling a lot, but it has either been for work or the family. With you being pregnant, work, and the kids I know we won't get a lot of time for just the two of us. I thought we could use a couple of days for just us."

Olivia leaned into him, "I love you…"

"Love you more…"

The couple talked until they arrived at their destination which was a helipad. From there a helicopter took them to their destination. A client had recommended Cedars Mount View. He had reserved their "Vue" villa.

Olivia was in awe so far, but she was not prepared for what she was about to walked into. The villa had a king size bed with a deep soaking bath for two. There was also a mounted gas log-flame fire.

The attendant that had shown them to their room presented Olivia with a glass of sparkling cider. On the kitchen table amongst candles were homemade chocolates surrounded by real rose pedals.

She then turned and looked at the bed. On the night stand on the side she was staring at 24 long stemmed roses in a ceramic vase and beside it was a personalized wax sealed gift card and love poem addressed to her.

You gave light to my soul

You helped me to be whole

I have felt love for you before

And it will be more and more,

You are mine, my dear

You are the angel from above

Who taught me how to love.

Please, forever keep me near.

Olivia couldn't stop the tears. This man. Her man. Her everything always knew what she needed. What they both needed, and in this moment she just cleared her mind.

He walked over and pulled her into his arms. He cradled her stomach which had a slight pouch but nothing that clothes couldn't hide.

She leaned into his embrace, "Now that we are here I don't want to leave for dinner."

"I didn't think that you would so I arranged for dinner to be flown in. It should be arriving soon. How is your nausea?"

"It's fine. We are starving. I just think we all just wanted you back."

"I wanted to be back with you guys as well. I had the chef prepare Italian because it is your favorite."

Olivia beamed at the dinner choice.

A short time later the chef arrived with his assistant. They set up a romantic table for the couple. Fitz turned on some music and the couple sat down at the table while their meal was being prepared.

The chef prepared the couple a five-course meal that consisted of:

Classic Italian Spinach and Egg Soup

Grilled Branzino

Vegetable Lasagna

Ossobuco Alla Milanese

Tiramisu

Dinner was delicious and the company was even better, but nothing was better than being between the sheets with the one you loved.

Olivia felt like it had been forever since she had made love to her husband. She doesn't remember how and when all of their clothes came off, but they did.

Before she can gather her thoughts her husband has her legs over his shoulders bring her core up to his mouth.

She saw the look on his face. That shit eating grin that says you are mine, and he was right. Once his lips closed around her bundle of nerves she was putty in his hands.

She moaned his name over and over, and that only spurred him on even more.

She screamed out, "YESSS BABY. DON'T STOP… OH GOD WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME?"

Fitz looked her in the eye, "Taking care of what's mine!"

She wasn't sure how many more licks it took to him to get to the center of her tootsie roll pop, but she did pop and it was so good.

Fitz slid up her body and kissed her softly. She held onto him as he joined them together causing them to both moan in pleasure.

Fitz pulled back and looked at his wife, "I missed you…"

"I missed you more…"

"Not possible…"

"Let's call it even and you show me…"

That is exactly what Fitz did. Fitz took his time. Olivia felt like he made love to every inch of her body. She was bone tired by the time when it was all said and done and thoroughly satisfied.

The next morning the couple found themselves on the deck relaxing. They had Face Timed with the kids, and were just enjoying the fact that it was the two of them.

Olivia was under her husband. Enjoying the fact that they didn't have to share themselves with the kids. Fitz was rubbing his wife's feet.

He had missed his wife. Both of them had demanding careers and an expanding family. Neither of which they would change. They had learned to enjoy the quiet moments, and never leave things between them unsaid which lead to the conversation that Fitz was about to have with his wife.

"So I talked to Marcus when I called him about the getaway…"

"Are we talking about Calvin?"

Fitz nodded, "Do you want to talk about it?"

"Sure, no time like the present?"

"Since you didn't give Marcus an answer right away I am going to assume that you told him that we needed to discuss it first."

"You are right. I want to hear your thoughts."

"I think this case has your name on it, and while I don't know all the reasons you are hesitant I can't see you not helping him. Not only would it help him but between him and Coke you will finally be able to forever pick and choose your clients. You will have solidified yourself domestically and internationally."

"You are right with everything you said. I would love to take on the case, but Calvin is big. The cause is even bigger and that may spill over into our personal life. I am not worried about managing the case, because Marcus can help carry the load."

"Thank you for thinking of us and by us I mean our relationship and the family, but we will be fine. If it gets personal we will handle it when the time comes. While I know family was a concern there is something slightly bigger concerning you."

"Calvin currently has a contract with Coke."

Fitz sat back for a moment, "Oh wow. Well I can respect that would be a concern, but once again I know my wife. I also have gotten to know Marcus really well. When the two of you get together it is magic."

Olivia smiled at the compliments her husband bestowed upon her.

Fitz grabbed her hand, "Baby, we are a family of five and in less than a year we go to a family of seven. Between Harrison and Andrew I have been able to focus on family, and not have to travel and meet with many clients. Just the big ones, and I want the same for you. I want you to finally put your parents in the rear view mirror. Take the case baby. You have done wonders for a big corporation, but now the world gets to see you take center stage. Show them who you are. Show them who Calvin is. I think that the only regret would be if you didn't take him on."

Olivia looked at him to see if he was sure, and she saw that he was being one hundred percent sincere with her. It was at that moment she decided to take the case. Everything that Fitz said was right. She was ready to do this not only for Calvin, but for herself. She sent a message to Marcus that she was going to take on the case, but not to discuss it with Calvin until after she had a game plan. She also asked Marcus to put together his folder, and she would review it when she returned back from her time with Fitz.

The trip with Fitz was just what she needed. They had decided the following weekend to tell Karen that she was expecting. They were going to hold off on telling the twins, because they would accidently tell someone before they were ready.

At the beginning of the week Olivia reviewed the file that Marcus had left for her. She was pleasantly surprised with the information that Marcus had gathered. She had Marcus to arrange a meeting with Calvin, but she decided to go ahead and speak with Coke.

Upon review of his contract he was in the final stages. He had already completed all of his obligations, and there would only be problems if Calvin got into legal trouble.

As a courtesy she gave the company a heads up that she would be representing him. She didn't see a need to seek out a new contract with them. It wasn't a huge contract to begin with. At the time they didn't have as many energy drinks as they do now, and since he wasn't actively playing football she didn't see him as a spokesperson.

She knew all her cards were in the Nike deal. She had some thoughts, but first she wanted to sit down with Calvin.

A couple of days later Calvin was in Olivia office. After greetings she didn't waste time asking the hard question, "What is your endgame?"

"I don't have one."

"Then I think this meeting is done."

Calvin looked at Olivia. Surprised by her abrupt tone.

Her facial expression never changing, "I only have one rule when it comes to my clients, and that is to tell me the truth. If you can't do that then we have nothing to talk about."

"I am telling you the truth."

"No you are not. I know that you didn't personally ask Marcus for me to take you on, but you knew that he would run it by me. You know that your friend would do anything to help you, and I am your best hope. That alone gave you thoughts about what you wanted. You telling me your endgame doesn't mean that I can, will, or want to make it happen, but at least I know what is going on in that mind of yours."

Calvin stood up. He went over to the window and took a moment to compose his thoughts, "I apologize Mrs. Grant. I don't want to cause you any problems. I appreciate the fact that you are even talking to me."

"Apology accepted. Please call me Olivia. Talk to me. I am not here to judge you. What is that you want?"

"I want to be a part of the solution and not the problem which is why I began to kneel in the first place. I think the mistake that a lot of black people especially the younger generation make is thinking that the fight is over. Our grandmother, grandfather, great grands, and others have marched and now we are free. We are far from free. If we were free I wouldn't be talking to you right now. If I am going to lose my job then I need something to come out of it. I also want the NFL to pay. I am being punished for taking advantage of my God-given rights. I haven't hurt anyone, and there are men in the league who have hurt their children, their spouses, and other people who are stilling playing the game. That is not fair to me. I feel like I should be compensated."

Olivia nodded, "That's fair. Thank you for being honest. I can work with that. I can work with you."

"Olivia, I have enjoyed meeting you, and being honest with you has been a weight off of my shoulders, but I can't afford you. I know that I don't have an easy battle ahead of me. Although I have money saved up I don't want to use it all up on a battle that will be hard to win. I am sorry if I have wasted your time."

"You haven't wasted my time. I am taking your case Calvin, and I am going to win. I am going to win not only for you, but to create the change that you want. I don't want your money. I just want you. I need to know that you are all in, and by all in I mean that you have made some mistakes when it comes to your decision to kneel and we will have to acknowledge them."

"Such as…"

"You didn't vote. You want to create change, and you talk about what our forefathers have done, but you didn't exercise your right to vote. You fell into the trap that one vote wouldn't make a difference."

He acknowledge that she was right.

"You said you were kneeling for all of the social injustices, but there were many that had a problem with the fact that you didn't have an endgame. You were never really clear what you were fighting for, and we need to clear that up going forth especially with Nike."

"What does Nike have to do with this?"

"I can't guarantee you a job. There are not a normal corporation where you make them look bad, and they will fix the problem. Too many people love football. It is America's game, and while they lost some viewership overall the game/company is in fine shape. What will save you is your deal with Nike. For some reason they haven't cancelled your contract. I am not sure why yet, but if I can get through to them then everything else will fall into place."

"It sounds like a long shot but I trust you."

"Good. Give Marcus and I some time to come up with a solid game plan. Marcus will give you a call when we have something in place."

Calvin nodded and went over to Olivia and they shared a long embrace, "We will get you through this. You just have to trust us."

"I will. I do trust you."

"That is good to hear. Marcus is really worried about you, and I know that you have been isolating yourself from everyone, but that needs to change. I expect to see you at family gatherings in the future."

Calvin laughed, "I'll be there. Marcus told me to never say no to you unless I had a good reason."

Olivia laughed, "Smart man…"

After he left Olivia took a moment to reflect over the meeting. Once she laid down the law she knew that Calvin had been honest with her. He had something she could work with. He had something that could change the culture, and she knew just how she was going to do it.

Olivia called Marcus, "I have a plan…"

A/N-I am stopping there. I didn't think I had much story left to tell, and there isn't a whole lot, but more than I planned. Heads up I have decided to explore the Colin Kaepernick situation. It has Olivia Pope written all over it. It was something I could explore. The heads up gives those who don't want to read about OPG handling him a chance to skip the next two updates. If you decide to read please forego sending me any negative reviews about my opinion and my decision on how I write the matter. Until next time. Of course check out my Twitter account for visuals.
