Malcolm loved his sister more than anything in the world. Minnie always looked out for him, always made sure he was safe. She always made sure the scale would tip in his favor, and he did his best to ensure the same for her.

Minnie had always held him when he cried, when he was hurt, or when he just needed a hug. She was always there for him.

Until today, when she turned down Dougal McGregor's marriage proposal. Even though it was the best thing for them both, Minnie still cried, the first time Malcolm ever saw his big sister do so. For the first time, Malcolm had to be there for her.
