Yes this is late, but I needed a spark to come to me. I find myself unable to come up with a good plot anymore as my idea is now burned to a crisp. Literally. Please enjoy

Artemis' camp, Texas. Three days before the recalling of the gods.

Artemis was sitting by the camp fire when she heard footsteps heading her way. She turned around to see Rhea entering her camp. Seeing the look on Rhea's face she groaned in her head. Artemis really did not want to tell her that she failed to find the boy that Rhea asked her to find.

Artemis remembered when she was just a few years of age the story of what really happened when Rhea was carrying Zeus. How a strange human male saved Rhea from Kronos' minions. She had thought of it as a wise tell, but when a few years ago when Heastia was out traveling, the truth of the story was giving.

Heastia was in another realm when she had saw a strange boy with whisperers in a kill me orange jumpsuit. When she came back she told her mother of what she saw. Even thought the boy was only around five, Rhea was overjoyed. She said all kinds of things, mainly how he had promised her he wouldn't die and how she would either beat him up form making her worry or kiss him.

Artemis was even more surprised when her lieutenant. asked to go and find him. Artemis knew that she and Rhea had history with each other but she never said how. When she said that she knew of the male and gave him the utmost respect, Artemis only stood there gasping like a fish. Zoe Nightshade, the one that was betrayed by Herc the jerk and had a major dislike of males, liked a boy.

Then Rhea asked her, Artemis, to find this Naruto person and bring him to her. Artemis almost fainted in shock. She had was uneasy about it but Rhea made several strong points and Zoe told her of her history with the boy. Artemis was unsure of what to think after that, but she agreed to find Naruto.

'Now I have to tell her ladyship that I failed due to the fact he wasn't anywhere near the village and myself and my senior hunters were discovered before I could track him down. I hope the jumpsuit will be able to appease her,' Artemis mused as Rhea started over to her.

"Arty how was the trip?" Rhea asked with a smile. Artemis gulped and told the elder immortal the events when she was on the mission.

It was a quite night on Olympus with all the immortals asleep. That changed when all of a sudden, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDNT FIND HIM!?" Hera and Zeus leapt out of bed, thinking that they were under an invasion. Zeus cursed as he dropped his bolt (the night light of doom) on his foot, causing it to go off in the room.

Hera was not happy. After the shock of the blast she lunged at her husband to use her fists on his form till she was tried enough to go back to sleep. Poor Zeus was still in shock when Hera's fist met his jaw.

Ares was in his room asleep having his version of a nightmare. The world was under attack, but it was the invaders that scared Ares. It was an army of build-a-bears singing 'I love you' and saying things like let's be friends. The bears were also riding My Little Ponies and leading the army was Barney and the four Telatubies. Worse the more he killed them the louder the songs and voices came and they multiplied.

"Nooo! Die you freaks of all things of the evils of cuteness!" He yelled out in his sleep. The army had him trapped and was trying to Put a Hello Kitty costume on him. An large explosion went off and he was awake in seconds after falling from his bed. "My head," He groaned out, "That's it, I am never again letting 'dite talk me into helping her with her new Hello Kitty line."

"Finished at last," Hermes spoke softly as the last paper was signed. He had spent most of her day trying to finish his paperwork that was starting to build up. He rose from his sit and opened a file cabinet. 'Once this is in I can get some sleep,' He thought with a mental sign.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDNT FIND HIM!?" He jumped at the rather loud and angry tone, slamming his head into the ceiling. Papers flew everywhere due to speed and force of his jump. After he go this head unstuck he looked around. All of his work now scattered around the room. He just went to a corner and started to cry.

Mr. D was walking down a street heading for a bar. 'Tonight I will get drunk and good' He thought. Just as he was about to enter the bar a loud sound like thunder reached his years. Fearing for his safety he looked at the bar and thought, 'I'll be back for you.' Then he raced towards the camp before his father started to look for him.

...

"Gently does it... Ok stop it there." Athena nodded and twisted a knob. She and her brother, Hephaestus, looked at their prototype. It was shaped like Pac-man that had a omega sign. on either side of its mouth.

"How are we doing brother," Athena asked.

Hephaestus gave a proud smile. "We just need to add some fuel, connect the drive to the mainframe, put in a power source and we're finished with project darkness."

"I still do not understand why we picked that name," She spoke to herself. "So we should be able to see what monsters do in Tartarus finally and see if we can check on our foes in how long?"

"In, oh, in an hour and thirty minutes. Hopefully nothing happens. The compound we just added is highly unstable and needs thirty minutes to settle. if it is shaken, boom." Athena and Hephaestus looked at each other and grinned like deranged evil mad scientists.

Fate, however, wasn't kind to them. Just as time was almost up... BOOM! The two immortals jumped away from the prototype and hide behind an over turned table as an explosion shook Hephaestus's workroom. After a few seconds of tension, they relaxed and looked over the table towards the machine.

Big Mistake

The prototype exploded in their faces, covering them in oil, scrap metal, and grime. The force of the blast sent the duo into the wall. Hephaestus coughed up smoke and Athena's hair was aflame.

"Father must have dropped his bolt again," Athena coughed out.

"Tell me about it." Came Hephaestus's deadpanned reply.

Artemis looked at the enraged Rhea with a bit of fear. Artemis thought that Rhea was going to be mad, but not to this level.

"Now dear." Artemis shivered at the tone. "You have ten seconds to tell me that at least he not leave bare handed. Or else..." Rhea left her words fade as Zoe came running over with a jumpsuit.

"Lady Rhea," Zoe said in a worried and quick voice, "Can you please wait until the story is finished? Oh, and here." Zoe handed over the jumpsuit. Rhea's eyes widened at the sight of the suit.

"This is..."

Zoe and Artemis nodded. "It's one of his jumpsuits that I grabbed when we left."

Rhea nodded and spoke two words. "Thank You." Zoe smiled and nodded to the Titanness. Rhea then started to glow, seeing this, Zoe closed her eyes. After the glow faded Artemis turned to her Lieutenant.

"So," She started before noticing that Zoe was walking away. "Zoe?"

"Not now my lady." Artemis frowned and started to worry. She has never heard Zoe sound so defeated and depressed. She had seen her defeated after a difficult hunt that ended in failure and depressed after one of her fellow hunters die, but not like this. Artemis started to wonder why she was the way she was acting.

Unless... Artemis shook her head. After what happened to Zoe when she met Hercules Zoe became weary and distrustful of men. She was always was so quick to being cold to them, all but a rare few. Yet she always held this Naruto in high regard and respect.

Rhea giggled like a schoolgirl thinking about her crush while sniffing Naruto's jumpsuit in her secret room. 'Naruto' she thought as she went to sleep.

Back the present

Naruto looked around at the so called safe haven for half bloods, feeling unwelcome. It was as if him being here was an insult to this place and it was trying to kick him out. He's companions were already though and did not notice his issue. Nor did he want them to.

"Is something wrong?" Naruto shook his head and looked at Ann.

"It's nothing, nothing at all. Just a head ache." He said slowly as he went though the barrier. After a few tense moments, The feeling lessened and dissipated. He signed in relief and younger siblings, Billy and Triss raced towards the girl that was walking towards them.

"Hello, welcome to Camp Half Blood." The girl said with a forced smile.

"Hello."

"Hi."

Ann and Naruto grinned and stayed quiet as the girl was swamped by questions by the duo. Ann walked up to the girl and started up a conversation with the girl. 'The Greek goddess of love's daughter,' Naruto thought. He blinked as he had not idea who that was or how that thought came into his mind. He just knew for some reason. Looking at the trio of siblings he could tell that the were children of Demeter. Low and behold, the sigh of said goddess appeared over the children. Several campers came over to talk to the new comers and a few congratulated their new siblings.

Naruto however was not apart of this. His instincts were telling him to go the the farm house and he knew to listen to them after Mr. Smith drilled into his skull to pay attention to everything. To prove his point, he had soundly beaten Naruto to a pulp, then had someone who Ann called a man in black agent attack him from behind as soon as Naruto was about to win.

'If he was holding back, I hate to see what kind of foe he fights daily to be that strong.' Naruto thought as he walked up the stairs. Upon entering he heard voices coming from deeper inside the house. It took a few moments but he was able to understand what they were saying. Not wanting to be rude he knocked on the doorframe. "I hope I'm not interrupting?"

"Oh, a another new camper? This is an interesting day." Naruto looked at the man in the wheel chair who had just spoken. There was another blond haired kid in the room, looking like he felt out of place like Naruto. "Who are you my boy?"

"The name's Naruto. Nice to met your Mr.?"

"Chiron."

"I'm Jason. I just got here a few minutes ago with two others."

Naruto shook the younger boys hand. "Nice to meet ya. I just came with three others. So I guess we newbies got to stick together huh?"

"It would make this place easier to come to terms with."

Chiron payed little atteion as the too boys conversed. He was more interested in Naruto. After spending so many years on teaching heroes and interacting with many strange beings and event, Chiron had a hard time becoming truly afraid. A hard time, he was always afraid of one of his charges dying but after awhile it fades. But When he looked at Naruto he became very afraid. Not of Naruto himself, Chiron was a good judge of character, but of the power that was awakening within the boy.

Old power, power as old or older then Gaea.

'If having a roman demigod was dangerous enough, now a Quarterling has once more entered the camp.' He thought with worry. Querterlings were very rare. So rare that many thought they were myths of their own. The gods had even forgotten about them after the last one was killed. There were only a set number of them at a time, and only at the dawning of great war and strife. A presence of one Quarterlings meant something even worse was running around, something far more dangerous then a titan, god, or primordial.

Quarterlings were easy to handle, they were just as powerful as child of the big three. It was their parents the was the problem. Only one was human. The other was only half human and something more. Chiron recalled how by talking to one of these Halflings that there was at any given time, only eight Halflings. But they had quality in spades. The lost of camp 13 was because of just three rouge Halflings. They were killed, as they were little more then beasts near the end of the blood bath, but only those campers that were not at the camp survived, himself included.

'The Fates hate me,' Chiron cried in his mind as he now had to deal with the issues of having a roman inside the camp that should not be do to the oath and separation of the demigods, but also knowing that there was a chance that the next world war was going to begin.

Two pairs of eyes looked over the area where their prey lie. A feral growl filled the air as they saw that he had been given shelter. Their mouths watered with teeth barred as the thought of the blood being spilled. Their master and father had tasked them to capture or kill the Quarterling along with a secondary goal.

Burn the Greek Half-Bloods and bring Gaea their bodies for her to feast on. And war shall enflame the world
