Oraun highschool host club
Haruhi watched from the corner as the tiny blonde boy played around to the adoration of half a dozen awestruck girls.
She had her own crowd of loving girls around but Harhui couldn't tear her eyes away.
Kyoya was a mystery in his own sense with his dark personality but Hoeny was so open and he still confused her.
"Haruhi," the girl to her left pouted, large fake eyelashes fluttering.
"Oh, what?"
"You weren't listening," she sighed. "That's the forth time all day. I'm starting to wonder if you even like me at all."
"I'm sorry," she pulled up a sweet face. She couldn't loose any more guests she had a debt to pay off. "I've been so distracted lately. There is nothing more I'd like then to forget my problems and talk to you."
The girls around her melted with joy.
Later that afternoon when all the fluffy yellow dresses had flounced out Haruhi sunk into the comfy couch, sighing.
"I don't know how much longer I can keep this up," she groaned softly.
"What's wrong Haru-chan?" Hoeny' soft, cow brown eyes stared up at her.
"Nothing Hoeny sempi," she smiled. "Just tired."
"I'm sorry," he looked down. "I noticed you had a lot more girls today." He jumped onto the couch next to her, his blonde hair spreading across her lap. "Do you not like being a host?"
Haruhi glanced around, to check that everyone was out of ear shot. "I'll admit it's not my first choice sempi." She blushed.
"I'm sorry," Honey hugged his bright pink bunny to his chest. "Do you really hate it?" His eyes filled with tears.
"Of course not," she smiled. "There are some things I like about it."
"Really?" his face lit up and he sat on her lap. "What?"
"I get to spend time with you and the others." She mused. "And I get to dress up like a boy." She laughed slightly. "I don't think many girls get to do that!"
"True," he cuddled up to her, his cheeks pink. "I like spending time with you too Haru-chan."
Haruhi smiled a little. "Really?"
"Of course I do. You're nice."
"May I ask you something?"
"Sure," he yawned.
"How old are you?"
"Seventeen."
She blushed, waiting for the reaction to her next question. "So why are you so small?"
She felt him sink closer to her, calmly answering. "I don't know. My family has always been a bit small. I hope I get bigger soon though."
"Why's that? I thought you loved looking little. It gets you so much attention."
"It does," he paused. "But I wanna be able to reach things by myself. To be more useful."
Haruhi smiled at the tiny boy.
"Besides," he smiled, falling asleep, "I can't get married until I looked older."
Haruhi groaned.
