A/N: Sorry this took so long. I have been having a horrible writer's block and my classes have been a bit crazy. Also I have had to refresh myself on things for my other stories. And I did get caught up in the FNAF 3 release. Thank you all for being so patient with me.
Second Night Scares and Sacred Oaths
~Roxy's POV~
My uncle and I arrived back at the pizzeria about a good two hours before his shift was to begin. It seemed like the manager had already got out of there and there was literally no one there but the animatronics.
Looking around, I took things in before looking at my uncle.
"Alright. The others will be here shortly. We should go ahead and set up."
"Roxy… Are you sure this is a good idea?"
I looked at my uncle and gave him a confident smile.
"I am positive uncle. It's time we establish some… ground rules."
Mike didn't seem very convinced as he stared at me. I knew this would be trickier to get him to go along with this and to put his trust in his niece he hasn't seen in years. I don't entirely blame him; seeing as how we just reunited only twenty-four hours ago.
After giving me a slow, almost timid, nod, Mike went off to one of the old storage rooms to get a few extra cables. Meanwhile, I went over to the stage, looking up at Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica.
"Ok you three…..I don't know what exactly he did to you…..but it won't last….I am taking my home AND my family back." I said before hopping up onto the stage.
I moved over to Freddy, placing my hands around his shoulders, looking around for someplace to move him to temporarily.
I needed to move them off the stage so that my friends and I could use it long enough for us to do what is known as a protection performance. A protection performance is where we channel our positive energy through music to protect whoever we focus on from danger. I decided we should do one tonight in order to prove that I was not messing around and that I was serious about ridding this place of that foul demon.
However, I was so caught up in my thoughts that I did not notice Chica, Bonnie and Freddy move until it was far too late.
By now, Freddy had his hands around my throat as Chica and Bonnie stood on either side behind him. I struggled to get free, finding it very hard to breath, one of my eyes falling closed as I glared at him with the other one.
"Fr….Freddy…..st…stop! It's…it's me! It's Roxy! You've got to remember! Please…it's little sis…" I pleaded, slowly ending in a soft whisper, looking at him pleadingly.
I saw his eyes widened slightly as I felt his grip loosening, taking in as much as air as I could, gasping softly. I looked at him with both eyes, noticing his eyes had a slightly glazed look to them that seemed to be slowly clearing up.
Glancing at Bonnie and Chica, I noticed their eyes were in a similar state and looked at me in disbelief.
"R…Roxy? Is….Is that really you?" Fredddy slowly asked, his hands moving from my neck to my shoulders.
Nodding slowly, I gently smiled at him.
"It's me Freddy. I've returned….which I am sure Foxy has informed you of that already."
I watched them all nod before Bonnie stepped forward some.
"Y..Yea…but….we didn't exactly believe him…..he also threatened us…..We've really missed you Rox….but….you shouldn't be here….it's not safe…..I….I am not sure how but…..we managed to regain control…..for now…." He said, looking a bit distressed.
Chica nodded, looking in a similar state.
"We…..We've been forced to do some terrible things Roxy….We…We...we…we tried to stop ourselves but….we couldn't….after those five kids…things…..haven't been the same…..things have also got darker….much darker…." She said, looking remorseful for all that they had been forced to do.
"Roxy, you need to get the night guard and get out of here…..and…take Foxy with you…..he has managed to stay in control of himself somehow…..but…we don't want him to face our fate…..we've been turned into monsters…"Freddy whispered softly, looking broken.
I shook my head, putting my hands over his.
"No way! I know what is going on….for the most part….I know who is controlling you….just…not how…nor do I know how you all managed to regain control but I am not abandoning you guys…you are my family and this is my home as well….I am not giving up on either without a fight. But I will need your help….can you all go off stage for a moment while you are still in control so me and some friends can set up? We are going to perform a kind of protection ritual, hopefully, that will keep my uncle and myself safe for the night. And not to mention Foxy will probably also protect us….by the way….where is Foxy? I noticed his curtain was open when we walked in."
"He went to the security office to wait for you and your uncle I think. And I am going to guess the night guard is your uncle." Chica said softly, receiving a nod from me.
"Yes. Now, you three get situated. I am going to get Foxy and let him know we are here before helping my uncle set things up before my friend arrive."
All three of them nodded and made their way off to the backstage area as I hopped off the stage and began to make my way to the security office down the hall to enter from the left.
As soon as I stepped in through the open security door, I was tackled to the floor with enough force to knock the air right out of me.
Groaning softly I looked up to see Foxy looking down at me with concern.
"I be sorry lass. I didn't know it was ye. I thought t' others were movin' around early t' try t' set a trap t' get ye and yer uncle."
"It's alright, Foxy. And the others aren't a threat at the moment. They are in control instead of being controlled."
"Controlled? Do ye mean that all t' thin's they have been doin' was not their choice?"
"Yes but right now, I need your help Foxy. It is very important."
"Of course lass! What do ye need me t' do?"
I smiled widely and then explained that he would need to make sure the others did not interrupt me or my friends so that way the protection performance would work.
After explaining the plan to Foxy, we both went our separate ways; Foxy went to the backstage area to keep an eye on Freddy and the others while I went to go help my uncle.
I found my Uncle Mike tangled up in a few cables, cursing at them as he tried to untangle himself. I chuckled as I went over to him and began to help him untangle from the cables.
"Now uncle, what have these cables done exactly in order to receive such foul language?"
My uncle looked at me and sheepishly smiled.
"Sorry. It's just these dang cables decided to get tangled up around me when I pulled them off the shelf."
I chuckled as we got the cables untangled and began to wrap them up in our hands so we could carry them to the main party room.
We made our way there in silence and were greeted by the sight of Trisha and the others waiting for us.
They had brought the rest of the equipment and the instruments we would need for the performance.
The speakers were sitting by the door along with a guitar case, and cases for a drum set were leaning against the wall across from the speakers along with an electric keyboard.
"Hey guys!"
My friends looked over at me and smiled at me, Christine waving at me and my uncle.
"Hey Roxy-girl! Looking good, as always." Jessica said, giving me a high five as I walked up to them.
I chuckled and rolled my eyes, cocking a hip and resting my hand on it as I smiled.
Before I had left The Lion's Den, Trisha had given me my old outfit from when I was part of the band.
I now wore a silver sleeveless halter top, ice blue skinny jeans, and silver knee high heeled boots. My red hair now had silver and ice blue highlights and was braided and tied at the bottom with a silver ribbon.
Trisha wore a gold tube top with a short sleeve black jacket, gold leggings, black mini skirt and black knee high boots. Her golden blonde hair with black highlights was in a pixie cut with the bangs slightly swept over her left eye.
Sara dressed in a short sleeve white button up shirt with a brown suit jacket, white stockings under a brown mini skirt and black strap on heels. He brown hair had white tips and where in a pixie cut with the bangs swept over her right eye.
Jessica's long black hair with electric blue and neon green highlights was down in curls. She wore her black leather choker with the silver guitar charm, black fingerless fishnet gloves that went to her elbows, fishnet leggings under black booty shorts, a black tank top with 'Kiss the Guitarist' in electric blue and neon green tie-dye on the front and black leather knee high heeled boots.
Jacob's black hair with orange tips was still in its usual short shaggy mess. He had on an orange muscle shirt, faded blue jeans, and black converses.
Christine had her blonde hair in a bun, wearing a rose red blouse with silvery white leggings and red strap on heels.
"I must admit. It is good to see you in your old get up again." Christine said, smiling happily.
"It feels good to be in it again. I am surprised it still fits."
"That's because you've always had the body to pull it off." Sara said encouragingly.
I smiled even more, grateful for friends like these.
"Well… Shall we set up?" Jacob suggested with a smile, going over to his drum set.
I nodded and my uncle and I helped them get everything on stage and set up. Once we were finished and sound checks were done, I made my way backstage to check on Foxy and the others.
When I saw them, I smiled to see that Freddy and the others were still in control.
Making my way over, I placed a hand on Foxy's shoulder, looking at all of them.
"Alright, everything is set up and we are about to begin. Once we are finished we will get everything back in my friends' vehicles and then my uncle and I will go to the security office. Foxy, we will need you in the Cove and to act as our warning system. If it seems like we may be in danger, I want you to run towards the office. We should see you running down the hall on the cameras. Only do this if you believe we should have both doors down, Freddy is on the move, or if we are in any other danger and then knock when it is safe to open the door," I said before turning my attention to Freddy, "Meanwhile, you guys try to stay in control as much as possible and try to stay away from the back office."
"We will do what we can Roxy." Freddy said while Bonnie and Chica nodded their heads in agreement.
I nodded my head and smiled before returning to the stage.
"We ready?"
"Ready when you are." Sara said, standing off to the side with an extra mic, acting as my back up singer.
Jessica was messing with her guitar, Jacob sat at his drum set and Trisha stood beside the electric keyboard. Christine was standing in front of the stage with my uncle, giving us an encouraging thumbs up.
I took a deep breath before making my way to the main microphone, looking at my friends and nodded my head, letting them know I was ready. Once the music started to play, I began singing right exactly where I needed to start at, closing my eyes as I did. (A/N: Anything in THIS TEXT is Roxy and Sara, THIS TEXT is the entire group singing. Anything in THIS TEXT is just Roxy singing.)
"There's a day when all hearts will be broken
When a shadow will cast out the light
And our eyes cry a million tears
Help won't arrive
There's a day when all courage collapses
And our friends turn and leave us behind
Creatures of darkness will triumph
The sun won't rise
When we've lost all hope
And succumb to fear
As the skies rain blood
And the end draws near
I may fall
But not like this-it won't be by your hand
I may fall
Not this place, not today
I may fall
Bring it all-it's not enough to take me down
I may fall."
~Mike's POV~
I stood beside Christine in front of the stage while my niece and her friends began to perform.
The room began to feel lighter and the whole place felt much safer.
It was then I noticed the changes that began to occur.
Roxy and her friends all began to glow; with the exception of Christine.
Roxy was surrounded by a silver glow that had a thin ice blue outline. Sara had a light brown glow surround her that was outlined in white and her older sister Trisha had a golden glow with a black outline surround her. Jessica had a neon green glow outlined in electric blue and Jacob had an orange glow with a thing black outline.
I was undeniably shocked by this and when I looked at Christine I was even more surprised that she did not seem to be concerned by this.
I then began to wonder what secrets my niece was hiding from me.
I decided tonight would be the best time to figure out what exactly they were.
~Roxy's POV~
"There's a place where we'll stand outnumbered
Where the wolves and the soul-less will rise
In the time of our final moments
Every dream dies
There's a place where our shields will lay shattered
And the fear's all that's left in our hearts
Strength and our courage have run out
We fall apart
When we lose our faith
And forsake our friends
When the moon is gone
And we reach our end
There's a moment that changes a life when
We do something that no one else can
And the path that we've taken will lead us
One final stand
There's a moment we make a decision
Not to cower and crash to the ground
The moment we face our worst demons
Our courage found
When we stand with friends
And we won't retreat
As we stare down death
Then the taste is sweet
I may fall
But not like this -it won't be by your hand
I may fall
Not this place, not today
I may fall
Bring it all-it's not enough to take me down
I may fall."
Once the song came to an end, things felt lighter and safer, but the dark presence could still be felt.
I looked to my friends and smiled at them, having no doubt that no one would be harmed tonight.
After we got everything packed up, my uncle and I helped them move everything back into Jacob's truck.
We waited until my friends drove off before locking up and heading to the security room.
Freddy and the others returned to the stage while Foxy went to Pirate's Cove, occasionally peeking out in order to keep an eye on them.
My uncle and I both got settled in the small security office and began to wait out the last few minutes until midnight. It wasn't even five minutes later when the phone started to ring.
My uncle jumped slightly and fiddled with some sort of small tablet that I guessed was connected to all of the security cameras. As I searched for the phone, it stopped ringing and what sounded like a recording began to play.
"Uhh, Hello? Hello? Uh, well, if you're hearing this and you made it to day two, uh, congrats! I-I won't talk quite as long this time since Freddy and his friends tend to become more active as the week progresses. Uhh, it might be a good idea to peek at those cameras while I talk just to make sure everyone's in their proper place. You know..." the voice said, sounding like a man that was nervous about something, causing my uncle to instantly pulling up the tablet and start going through the camera feeds.
"Uh... Interestingly enough, Freddy himself doesn't come off stage very often. I heard he becomes a lot more active in the dark though, so, hey, I guess that's one more reason not to run out of power, right? I-I also want to emphasize the importance of using your door lights. There are blind spots in your camera views, and those blind spots happen to be right outside of your doors. So if-if you can't find something, or someone, on your cameras, be sure to check the door lights. Uh, you might only have a few seconds to react... Uh, not that you would be in any danger, of course. I'm not implying that. Also, check on the curtain in Pirate Cove from time to time. The character in there seems unique in that he becomes more active if the cameras remain off for long periods of time. I guess he doesn't like being watched. I don't know. Anyway, I'm sure you have everything under control! Uh, talk to you soon." The man said before the recording stopped.
I rolled my eyes and leaned against the wall by the left door. The guy seemed a little too nervous for someone trying to avoid scaring any new employees. Not to mention that he seemed to be occasionally contradicting himself at times when giving warnings but then saying that there was no danger.
Apparently I got too caught up in my thoughts because my uncle gave a panicked whimper and began to quickly flip through the cameras. I looked at him and instantly put my guard up, briefly turning the light on to check outside the door, finding it empty for the time being.
"Uncle Mike, what is wrong?"
"I can't find Bonnie!"
I moved quickly to his side and looked over his shoulder. Sure enough, Bonnie was nowhere to be found but he wasn't outside the door. Which in my opinion was odd. I switched the camera feed to the security camera in the hallway that lead from the cove to the office and saw Foxy running down it.
Moving quickly, I went to the left door and closed it as fast as possible and waited.
About what seemed to be ten minutes later, I heard what sounded like three slow knocks.
I cautiously opened the door to be greeted by Foxy standing there.
"What's the situation Foxy?"
"I be not aye what Bonnie be doin' but last I saw he was..." he began to say only for my uncle's terrified scream to interrupt him.
We both looked over at him in concern only to find that he had been looking at the cameras and was now shaking like a leaf.
"...But he was leanin' in pretty close t' t' camera in t' storage room. I came t' make aye ye were alstarboard and t' tell ye that ye both should be able t' conserve t' office's power by doin' t' same as last night, keepin' only t' port door closed and keepin' an eye on t' starboard door." He finished, giving me a concerned expression.
I smiled and nodded as I quickly hugged him.
"Thank you Foxy. We may just give it a try."
Foxy nodded, giving a quick smile before making his way back to the Cove. Once he left, I closed the door and kept an eye on the right door.
About two hours passed and it was now 5:30 am. In those two hours, Chica had come up to the right door about four times.
I was sitting on the desk, staring at the right door when I suddenly heard my Uncle Mike make a small whimpering noise. I turned my head to the right, leaning back some so I could look at him while keeping an eye on the right door.
"What is it uncle?"
"Freddy is heading in the direction of Pirate's Cove for some reason."
Fear took hold of me as I turned my gaze away from the door and looked at the small screen.
Sure enough, Freddy was off the stage and heading towards the Cove.
I quickly got up off the desk and went to the left door, not bothering to check if Bonnie was outside as I opened it and ran out into the hall way.
"Roxanne wait!"
I ran down the hall towards Pirate's Cove as fast as my body would carry me, ignoring my uncle's pleas to stay in the office.
I could sense Foxy was in danger and seeing Freddy heading towards the Cove only confirmed my fears. Seeing Foxy so run down when I first arrived with my uncle tore me up inside more than anything else.
Tears began to fall as I forced my body to go faster, arriving just in time to see Freddy go behind the curtain. I could feel my heart stop as my blood ran cold.
Acting without thinking, I quickly took after him, making my way behind the curtain only to find a sight that sent chills down my spine and make my body go numb, unaware of the now free falling tears.
Freddy had his hands around Foxy's throat and had him lifted up. Foxy was gripping at his wrist with his good hand and clawing at his opposite arm with his hook.
"Freddy, this isn't like you, matey. Snap out o' it!" Foxy pleaded.
"FREDDY! LET HIM GO!" I shouted, my tears staining my cheeks as they traveled down to my chin.
Freddy looked over at me, his eyes different.
His normally light blue eyes where now white specks in a sea of black.
My throat tightened up as I stared directly at him, clenching my hands into fists. I was afraid but I could not show it. Foxy was in danger and I needed to save him like he had saved me. I knew I had to be strong and brave in order to protect my family.
"Freddy Johnson Fazbear. Put Foxy down right this moment. What would mother say if she saw you doing this?"
Freddy's eyes seemed to widened for a moment, his grip on Foxy loosening up just enough for Foxy to pull away and get free, using his speed to move over closer to me. I also noticed that Freddy was trembling slightly, his eyes slowly returning back to normal. But before I could let out a sigh of relief, I heard a voice that sounded like a small male child whisper in my head.
"You may have broken my control for now but not forever. WE shall have our revenge on the guard that took us from our families. That took our lives."
I looked around but I couldn't see anyone besides Foxy and Freddy who was now holding his head and looking a bit confused. I began to make my way over to my adopted brother but froze when I saw the flicker of a small black mass behind him, no larger than a four year old boy.
Before I could fully question it, I heard the chiming of the bell followed by the cheering of children signaling that 6 am had come around.
Foxy, Freddy and I walked back to the main room in silence.
My uncle was standing over by the door while Bonnie and Chica were both on the stage, looking at the three of us in concern. Freddy whispered an apology to us before making his way onto the main stage, standing in between Bonnie and Chica. Foxy pulled me close and walked me over to my uncle.
Seeing I was unharmed, my uncle quickly pulled me into a tight hug.
"I am so glad you are alright. I was so worried."
"Sorry uncle. I didn't mean to frighten you."
"Ye two should head out before t' manager arrives. I will wait for ye both in t' security office tonight once he leaves."
My uncle and I both nodded before Foxy turned and made his way back to his place in the Cove.
While my uncle was unlocking the door, I kept hearing a series of voices in my head.
"It's not fair." Came the voice of the boy from before.
"Why did we have to die?" Voiced what seemed to be a five year old boy.
"Why did this have to happen to us?" Came from another five year old boy.
"I want to go home. I want my mommy and daddy." Cried a three year old girl.
"Help Us. Save us." Sounded a six year old boy.
I held my head before looking back behind me, I saw three small black forms clinging to the legs of Freddy and the others while a fourth one followed behind Foxy. Each mass seemed to be connected to the animatronics. I saw four forms total, however, I heard five voices.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I felt the cool breeze of the morning air whenever my uncle unlocked and finally opened the door. I began to follow him out but not without glancing back over my shoulder once more.
"I need to do some research so I have a better idea on what we are facing. It's about time the story was told." I said before walking out just as the sun's first rays began to wake the sleeping Earth; making a sacred oath to uncover the truth and to rescue my family.

A/N: Sorry this took so long. I am doing about 4 stories at the same time. I am trying my best however to get these chapters done as soon as possible. A positive note is the longer it takes me to do a chapter usually will mean that chapter will have more details and be longer. Do not worry, I do plan on having twists in things most of you probably do not see coming. I will do this though. I will have a small warning at the end of this chapter and the next chapter. The Night 3 chapter will be one of my most detailed chapters and will have some major adult content. I will also have a warning before the content and markings on when the content starts and ends for those who wish to skip over it. Again, I apologize for the wait and I will try to have no longer than 2 weeks in between each update. I will also try to have update dates up on my profile from now on so be sure to check those if you get curious. Again, I started doing this story before I fully learned the whole FNAF story. I will be working most of the actually storyline into this as much as possible without really screwing things up. Again, FNAF, its characters, and its storyline do not belong to me. They respectively belong to Scott Cawthon. The song is from RWBY by Rooster Teeth and is titled I May Fall.
For your entertainment and for unknown purposes (Because she can and wants to mess with her readers, oh and this is Arem the editor just so you guys know) here is a sneak peek of the next chapter!
I sorted through various newspaper articles and files I managed to get a hold of, looking for anything connected to the franchise at all.
And that was when I finally found a lead.
It turns out that my first adoptive farther, Mr. Johnson, had a brother who had opened a second Freddy Fazbear establishment in a different town using toy versions of the animatronics that I have come to see as family.
I looked over the file and learned that some events lead to the pizzeria being shut down. Doing more digging, I found a newspaper article that read that five children had gone missing and were never found; later presumed dead. Looking in even deeper, I learned that the children were four boys and one female, ages ranging from three to six years of age.
A cold feeling rushed through my body as I began to put things together.
As I continued to look into the incident, I found something that connected the establishment that was shut down and the one that still is currently open.
A security guard with purple hair and unnerving lavender eyes transferred locations about the same time Mr. Johnson's brother's location closed its doors permanently.
I wasn't entirely sure how but I knew he had to be connected to what was going on and I had to figure out how to contact him.
Little did I know that finding him… Was the last thing I ever wanted to do.
