It had been about four days since Jay had arrived at the Baratie, in this time he had began to get to know the members of Luffy's crew his current traveling companions which he would venture into the Grand Line alongside with. The past four days have been rather uneventful, Jay himself never considered to be in any sort of rush to push out to sea however the melancholy of passing through days on the Baratie began to dull his thirst for adventure. This does not mean that Jay was aimless during his time waiting for Luffy to finish his year of chores. In this time Jay had began to study the Pokedex, learning more about Pokemon as a whole and becoming more familiar with his 'type'. Jay was a fire type Pokemon meaning he was strong against Bug, Steel, Grass, and Ice. His weaknesses included Water, Rock, and Ground and he is resisted by other Fire types as well as Fairy types and those he was weak against.

Jay also spent time with the crew members sailing under Luffy. He wanted to get to know them more since he would be traveling with them for the unforeseeable future. Getting to know Usopp, Jay was always excited to talk to him. He could clearly tell that Usopp's grand tales of adventure were a bit of an exaggeration, but he found Usopp easy to talk to and became fast friends with the crew's sniper. Jay had also noticed that beyond Usopp's quick lying and cowardly demeanor that he meant what he said through shaky determination that being a brave warrior of the sea was his one true goal upon setting off with Luffy.

Jay's conversations with Zoro always start and end the same way. Upon Jay setting foot on the Going Merry he was challenged by Zoro, who wanted to see if Jay could hold his own in fight. Zoro saw that Jay had power but lacked experience in fighting and had offered to spar and train with him during their wait for their captain. Jay agreed after his humble defeat at the hands of Zoro, and in the last four days when he wasn't studying the Pokedex, conversing with Usopp, or washing dishes to earn a meal in the Baratie Zoro was pushing him to get stronger along side himself.

Despite Jay's best efforts a conversation with Nami was incredibly hard to have. She was present but often felt incredibly distant, but including herself randomly as to not appeal off putting. That was Jay's thought initially, but he could never really ask her as each time he would try to approach her she would find a way to back out or avoid the conversation entirely. He learned to respect her boundaries and let her be but he often caught her staring off into the ocean for extended periods of time.

There were two other people aboard the Going Merry to Jay's surprise but to his knowledge they weren't members of Luffy's crew and instead were bounty hunters. Usopp had filled Jay in on the reason as to why they were on the ship. Apparently Nami had cured one of the men of the scurvy that was inflicting him. Zoro had later informed him they were Johnny and Yosaku and that they had a past with him while they would train and spar.

Jay felt that the days had crawled by one after the other and couldn't wait to set out. He peered out onto the misty gray waters of the Baratie, as he could hear his stomach rumbling. 'Well its breakfast time I guess' as he turned to see all three of his crew members standing about on the deck as Usopp rubbed his head and let out.

"Ah! I can't take it anymore Luffy when are we gonna set sail!" Walking closer Jay could see Luffy apparently taking some trash out along the deck.

"I'm gonna talk to the owner again, just give me a while." Luffy replied looking unsure of his chances.

"I don't see why you guys wanna leave." Nami said nonchalantly waving her hand. "The staff are nice, and they give free food, what more could you want."

"Yea the food is free for you." Zoro said partially annoyed.

"Yea I've been doing part time work just to eat." Jay said as he scratched his head as he recalled asking Sanji if such a things was even possible.

"Please Luffy! Im begging you we gotta go!" Usopp continued until Luffy turned his head to stare off into the horizon. Jay curiously looked the same way nothing but fog was visible but Jay could feel something off in the distance a weak presence but something definitely off. He continued to stare into the dense fog as multiple ships started to come into view. Massive vessels that parted the very fog that once concealed them and at the very fore front was the biggest ship of them all. The fleet leading ship was massive and had a black panther for a head. The ship itself was in tatters, as were the accompanying vessels as well. They seemed to barely be holding themselves together as if they would fall apart at any moment.

As the ships came more into view panic ensued from with Baratie as the patrons screamed and dropped their food and beverages and began to panic. Jay looked over to Zoro who seemingly paid the oncoming fleet no mind and then to Usopp who began to freak out at the sight of the oncoming fleet. Jay felt a mixture of excitement and anxiousness, not unlike the feeling he felt outside of Desolate Mountain back home. Though at this very moment he was in awe at the size of the fleet and the condition that it was in. As the main ship approached Zeff could be seen exiting the Baratie to greet it as well as Sanji though they were visibly standing apart. Luffy would walk up to Sanji as his eyes went completely wide.

"Whoa!" Luffy said looking on at the grand fleet. "That's a huge ship!"

"Hey Luffy!" Usopp said now visibly freaking out even more. "We differently gotta go, I'm not kidding!" Jay walked up behind Zoro who's full attention was now given to the massive ship that was ready to dock.

When the ship had stopped Jay was able to see just what kind of condition the main ship was in. It had appeared that the boat wasn't struck by cannons or bashed against rocks, but that the boat had been cut. 'Slashes?' Jay thought 'What kind of monster is capable of scarring up a ship like that?' he pondered further until he saw a large figure rise from the deck. He couldn't see much but he could discern that the man rising up was rather large and had an equally large coat, with him however was someone that Jay could recognize. 'that's Ghin.' Jay noticed him from his encounter with the pirate four days ago. 'Then that can only mean,' Jay began to think as sweat evaporated from his pores, 'this is that guy Don Krieg!' Jay's eyes widened at his next thought 'And whatever did that to their ship, is most likely a monster from the grand line!' Jay collected his thoughts and watched as Ghin would carry Krieg off of the main ship and towards the restaurant. All parties who were outside found their way in before hand.

It was quiet, and the tension was palpable. Even on the Going Merry Usopp, Zoro, and Jay were able to hear the gasps of the patrons as Ghin and led Krieg through the door.

"I'm…. Sorry." Krieg began. "May I have some food and water. I have money, so much money." Ghin began to to wince as seeing his proud captain beg for food was a painful sight for him. "I can't remember the last time I even ate anything. I'm so hungry." The cooks and patrons babbled on to themselves. Ghin however began to buckle as the weight of Krieg seemed to be too much they had both fallen over.

"Please! Help my Captain!" Ghin shouted. "He hasn't eaten in days! He'll die if he doesn't get anything to eat please!." Ghin slammed his fists down on the floor. Ghin knew the restaurants response, it would be the same as when he arrived and pleaded to eat. However he knew that Sanji wouldn't let this one go. Sanji knew the pain of going without food. The importance of being fed, and even the value of food and not letting it be wasted. He knew Sanji would pull through he had too.

"HAHAHA feed him!" Chef Patty proclaimed loud and proud." What do you mean? Is this the famous pirate Don Krieg? The strongest in the East Blue?" he began to laugh some more. "Go ahead and call the Marines. This is a one in a lifetime chance to catch the DON KRIEG!" The Baratie patrons seemed to agree and began to chime in saying things like he is a pirate don't feed him, and he doesn't deserve even a single glass of water. To this Kreig's only response was.

"I won't do anything." he said forcing himself up. "If you feed me I will just leave, that's all so please." he began to bow and lower his head. "I promise I won't do anything." The Baratie saw Kreig's desperation and just for a moment they maybe had empathized with him. In the quiet brought on by the shock of the Kreig's display Sanji's footsteps could be heard as he made his way to Krieg after kicking Patty along the way. Sanji had walked up to where Krieg laid prostrate and presented him with a bowl of food. To which Krieg began to dig in to ravenously. This act brought a smile on Ghin face however that warm feeling would disappear as soon as it came when a chef came running and yelling at Sanji.

"SANJI TAKE THAT FOOD AWAY NOW!" he began as the panic in his voice was telling. "You don't know who he is, that man is the East Blue Ruler, Foul Player Kreig." "He got his start by pretending to be a Marine to steal a ship by killing its Captain. He would then use that same Marine ship to enter harbors and completely annihilate them. He would use the white flag of surrender only to surprise his enemies!" He breathed in "He is a monster who doesn't fight fair, a scumbag who does anything to win, that's the kinda man Kreig is!" "He uses tricks but his actual strength isn't something to write off. Sanji! Leaving after he is done isn't something this guy is capable of letting him die for society's sake is the only thing to do!" As soon as the chef finished Kreig had slammed the bottle down furiously yelled at the return of his strength and used said strength to slam into Sanji with his arm to the surprise of everyone watching. People began to scream as they started running out in droves to their vessels. Jay looked confused.

"They're running out, plus their screaming." Jay said as Usopp interjected.

"W-What's going on in there?!"

"We'll find out once we go inside." Zoro said as Usopp couldn't believe him.

"Wh-What?"

"What are you scared or something" Zoro replied as Jay tried to look into the restaurant.

"All those ships but only those two came out I don't understand."

"Yea its strange," Zoro began "There doesn't seem to be a sign of anyone on that ship."

Back in the Baratie Kreig began to eye all the chefs and then gave them the reality of the situation.

"This is a good ship, I'll be taking it." He began as he eyed the Baratie." Mine got wrecked pretty bad so I'll need a new one and I like this one quite a lot."

"S-So that's what you want."Sanji said getting up slowly from the lariat he took courtesy of Kreig. Kreig however ignored him.

"You all will leave this ship once you finish what I tell you to do." He pointed behind him. "My subordinates still alive on that ship I want you to prepare 100 meals and water for every single one. Some have already died of starvation but for those still clinging to life you will prepare them a meal."

"You want us to serve and help pirates!" the ranting chef from before began "of course we refuse!"

"Refuse?" Kreig said furrowing his brow and smiling. "You seem to be confused I am not placing an order I am GIVING an order." he breathed in "and it doesn't matter who you are DON"T DEFY ME!" he yelled.

"Sanji I'm sorry." Ghin started to say through crying. "I didn't want this, we didn't agree to this. You saved our lives and yet." He began to break down as Patty also addressed Sanji.

"You damn idiot! Look at what you got us into!" Sanji's only response was to once again head to the kitchen.

"What the- Sanji! Where are you going?" one chef had asked seeing him make his way to the spiral staircase.

"I'm going to the Kitchen, I have 100 more meals to prepare." he said wiping the blood from his mouth.

"Yea that's how it should be." Kreig said smiling he only received a glaring scowl from Sanji though. However before Sanji could make it to the Kitchen a group of chefs would stop him with an assortment of enlarged cooking tools.

"Stop it Sanji you don't know what you're doing."

"Go ahead and try it."

"I'm tired of the way you act Sanji!" Multiple statements thrown his way as Sanji quietly stood there and raised his arms.

"Go ahead." Sanji said lowly as many of them became visibly confused. "He's a scumbag I get it. I don't really care. Actually I couldn't care less. What happens after I feed him is too much of a headache to think about. I'm just a cook nothing more nothing less, and if someone is hungry than you bet your ass I'll feed them. That's just how cooks should be don't you think?" In the quiet brought on by Sanji's resolve as a cook Patty had taken advantage to strike him knocking him down.

"Restrain him." Patty said walking away. "Sanji I know you feed those that I turn away at the door. I'm not going to say that its right or wrong for you to do so. but this time its obviously wrong. I'm not gonna let you do whatever you want any more Sanji." Patty had made his way to the a cabinet hidden under the spiral staircase. "I'll protect this place, even if its only Don Kreig. What can he do against all of us. This is a sea restaurant, so of course we've dealt with pirates and unruly marines, every day actually." He pulled a clothed wrapped item from the cabinet as he proclaimed. "We're always ready to deal with any customer!"

"That's!" Sanji said as Patty began to unveil his surprise.

"Aright Mr. Kreig now that you had your full, how about some iron dessert!" Patty yelled as he aimed a red shrimp shaped cannon at Kreig and ignited it. "MEAT BALL OF DOOM!" Patty yelled as the blast was heard and a bright light surrounded him as the cannon ball shot forward towards Kreig. The impact was great as a shock wave could be felt from even the Going Merry where Usopp, Zoro, Nami, and Jay stood trying their best to observe the situation. Pillars of smoke exited both sides of the Baratie as the blast subsided leaving a cloud of smoke in the door way where Kreig once stood. "Well I broke the doors again, Owner's gonna be pissed." Patty said smiling hoisting the gun on his shoulder.

"Well you did it for the restaurant, a small price to pay really." one chef assured him.

"what about that guys ship, his subordinates?" Sanji asked looking up at Patty.

"Who knows maybe we can butter the ship up and fry it or something" he said grinning. However as the smoke subsided, an ominous figure came into view.

"Those meals better taste real good, you half ass cook." Kreig said as a scowl can be seen and the smoke died down. Everyone on board was in shock. "How could you serve such a shitty desert, this is the worst restaurant!" Kreig yelled as his shoulders and sides opened up to reveal multiple guns as well as brandishing two pistols in each of his hands. "GO TO HELL!" he yelled as he opened fire in the restaurant. Many cooks were shot as most hit the floor or sought cover.

"From all over his body!" Luffy exclaimed.

"He shot bullets!" Sanji continued as he could only watch the onslaught. Kreig looked onward after he finished firing and removed his glove revealing a gauntlet that had diamonds embedded into the knuckles. "YOU WILL OBEY.!" Kreig yelled as his pounded his chest. "I AM THE STRONGEST!Steel arms stronger than anyone, golden steel armor stronger than anyone, and a diamond fist that can destroy everything! I have all sorts of weapons built into my body, enough for a whole army. A 50 ship fleet, and a pirate force of 5000. I have never lost, I am the only one fit to be called 'Don'"

Luffy watched as Kreig boasted. Kreig had Luffy's attention so much so that Luffy had hardly noticed that Zeff had made his way down the stairs where Luffy had been all this time.

"Move, Kid."

"Whoa oh o" Luffy stuttered as Zeff made his way past him. Kreig however, continued to verbally assault the Baratie.

"When I tell you to make me food, the only thing you should worry about is following my orders! DON"T DEFY ME!" Zeff had placed the sack he had carried in front of Kreig.

"Here, There should be enough for about 100 people in that." Zeff said as the entire Baratie called out to him.

"OWNER ZEFF!"

"Come on owner I almost got hurt." Luffy said rubbing his head. Kreig however could not believe his eyes and ears upon seeing the man that had brought him the food he asked for.

"Z-Zeff?" he said in quite a shock. Kreig had stared on in disbelief as staff members of the Baratie would announce their discontent with Zeff's actions.

"Owner! Why would you do that? If we feed them and they regain their strength, they will definitely take over this ship!"

"If they even feel like fighting after what they been through." Zeff said eyeing Kreig without backing down. "Isn't that right Kreig?" Kreig's facial expression changed from disbelief to one of annoyance. "I don't expect your crew to be in fighting shape having just been pushed out from the Grand Line?" Zeff explained to Kreig and his staff who were listening.

"So its Red Leg Zeff huh?" Kreig said seemingly ignoring Zeff's previous statement. "A famed pirate who was also a cook. A fearsome pirates who favored kicks over anything. They said his kicks shattered bedrock, and he even left a footprint in steel." Kreig looked once again at Zeff. "Red Leg often referred to your foot covered in blood after kicking down your enemies. You're alive huh?" Zeff scowled at Kreig who only began to patronize him. "How horrible to hear you had an accident at sea, however without your precious leg you can't do much fighting anymore can you."

"Fighting?" Zeff said as he lifted his hands. "I don't need to fight, as long as I have these hands I can cook. That is all that matters to me now."

"The man who traveled the Grand Line now reduced to a shabby line cook." Kreig said condescendingly.

"You been to the Grand Line?" Luffy said in awe of the Baratie's owner.

"Well, yeah." Zeff said pretty non nonchalantly.

"But regardless of who you are now, you were a man who returned from that damned sea unharmed. There must be a log book detailing your year's journey into the Grand Line. Let me have it!" Kreig said pounding his chest. Zeff scoffed at the notion of surrendering something as precious as that to someone like Kreig.

"No, Something like that is too important to share with you. It is the pride of my crewmates who risked their lives with me to travel that sea. Something like that doesn't belong with the likes of you." Zeff said sternly much to Kreig's displeasure.

"How? How dare you defy me yet again. I will take your log book then! I am the worlds strongest man! The one fit to be called Don! I sailed into the Grand Line and was caught of guard by a dark sea route! I had the power! The ambition! A 50 fleet pirate force! All I lacked was information! I will have that log book and return to the Grand Line, and I will conquer it! I will stand atop this world as the one fit to be the strongest, and I'll find the One Piece, and stand atop this world as the Pirate King!" A moment of silence past by until Luffy walked up to confront the man called Kreig.

"I can't let this slide." He said pointing a finger. "Listen I'm the one who is gonna be King of the Pirates."

"Whats this?" Kreig said as he looked down on Luffy. "I'm not in the mood for jokes kid. So drop it and I'll forget this."

"You don't have to, I'm just stating a fact." Luffy said unwavering in resolve.

"I told you I hate jokes like these! A whole 5000 force pirate fleet was wiped out in seven days kid! That's the kind of place the Grand Line is! So cut the bullshit!"

"I'll conquer the Grand Line, and become the Pirate King." Luffy said staring directly at Kreig as his anger only intensified.

"So what you wanna fight kid, is that it? I'll kill you here if that's what you want."

"Go ahead and try it." Luffy said invitingly as he cocked his arm back.

"Very well, I'll go ahead and send you to Hell then." Kreig said as his armor opened up to reveal his shoulder guns.

"Whats this Luffy, you gonna fight?" Zoro said standing on the top of the staircase with Jay and Usopp. They seemingly found their way in through the hole created by Luffy four days prior. Usopp's legs were shaking nervously as he chimed in.

"Y-Yea we're here and ready to g-go! B-But if you don't need us that's ok too."

"I have been wondering when I would get into my first pirate fight." Jay said stretching his arms and inhaling slowly.

"Zoro, Usopp, Jack!" Luffy shouted once he saw them.

"My name is Jay" Jay said as he went on to be ignored by Luffy.

"No, just watch from up there."

"O-Oh I see well then g-g-g-good luck haha!" Usopp's legs shaking slowed a bit as Zoro sheathed his sword and knocked Usopp down.

"HEY! Zoro what did ya do that for!"

"Well if you got it, I guess I'll just watch." Jay said sitting down on the stairwell his legs hanging through the guardrails.

"HAHAHA! Is that your crew, its pretty small isn't it?" Kreig said between his bouts of laughter.

"What? No I have two more!" Luffy said holding up two fingers as Sanji can be heard chiming in.

"You counted me, didn't you!" The assistant chef yelled out. Kreig's demeanor shifted as he looked around then at Zeff.

"I'll deal with you later, First I'm going to feed my crew." He said while picking up the bag and moving towards the exit. "Anyone that doesn't wanna die for nothing can leave, I only want the ship and that log book. But if you insist on dying here, then as much of a pain in the ass it will be I'll bury you in the sea." Kreig said leaving the restaurant. As he left Ghin stayed where he was, the whole time actually. Not moving once except for a trembling of fear. Fear of his Captain, and their betrayal of trust of those who saved him at the Baratie.

"I'm sorry Sanji." Ghin began to sob. "I never wanted it to turn out like this." Sanji looked up at him with low eyes. But before he had the chance to speak Zeff assured Ghin.

"You shouldn't be apologizing, Kreig's lackey." Zeff said much to the shock of everyone including Ghin. "Every cook here did what they thought was right. Including that little upstart over there." His words left a strong impact on the Baratie staff who started to lash out.

"Owner? What do you mean!"

"Stop taking Sanji's side!"

"Its because of him that we're in this mess!" many chefs voiced their concern only to be shut down my Zeff.

"ALL OF YOU SHUT THE HELL UP!" his voice boomed as the entire restaurant was silenced. Jay felt chills as the commanding voice of Red Leg Zeff demanded his attention. "Do any of you know what its like to be on the brink of starvation! How scary it really is to lose food and water on this grand ocean! How hard it is!" Zeff paused as he regained his composure. "That's the difference between you all and Sanji and I."

"Wait? The difference" The chefs discussed between themselves on what Zeff could have meant meanwhile he interrupted them.

"If you have enough time to talk then go ahead and leave through the back door already." Jay looked around, and instead of seeing multiple chefs get up and leave most of them would tighten their grips on their weapons. Patty was the first to speak.

"I'm gonna fight." He said raising a large fork. "I couldn't live with myself if I let myself lose without fighting back." Other chefs would join in.

"Yea this is where I work, I don't wanna leave it!"

"It's not like we have anywhere else to go right!" As the Baratie staff's morale raised Ghin seemed to move even deeper into despair. In frustration he slammed his hands into the floor.

"Hey! All of you just now saw how strong Don is! And you wanna fight?!" He began to plead. "Just leave I don't wanna see any of you hurt here today!"

"Listen Ghin." Sanji said lighting a cigarette as he moved towards a table that was propped up by one of those enlarged kitchen tools. "Feeding anyone who is hungry is my moral code, I'll never go back on that. However what we're dealing with here are pirates with full stomachs." Sanji said as he launched the table using his foot and kicked it down, and in all in one motion sat on it as well. "So I don't wanna hear any whining when you beat up your crewmates you got that. If anyone threatens this restaurant for whatever reason, even if its you, Ghin, I'll kill em." Sanji eyes were dead serious as they glared onto Ghin, who's only response was to tremble even more.

"So you're gonna save his life, and then threaten it Sanji?" Patty said smiling and shaking his head. "Which one is it, man?"

"Shut up damnit." Sanji said looking down to hit his cigarette once more.

"Hey look guys!" Luffy pointed at Sanji excitedly "He is pretty cool right."

"Yea that was smooth." Jay said impressed at the action with the table.

"Who cares about that we gotta go!" Usopp said afraid of Kreig's oncoming wrath.

"Calm down, even if its Kreig, he is riddled with injuries his whole crew is." Zoro said passively as Usopp began to freak out. Luffy then looked in the direction of Ghin.

"Hey Ghin you said you don't know anything about the Grand Line, even though you were there?"

"I wondered the same thing," Jay said "You said that earlier as well but if it was just a short while ago surely you must remember something."

"Yup you're right Jack." Luffy said looking back.

"Its Jay." Jay said as Luffy ignored him and turned his attention back to Ghin.

"Yea, Jack I did say that." Ghin began as Jay annoyingly yelled from the staircase.

"ITS JAY!" However Ghin only continued with his story.

"I don't know if it was real or just a dream."

"Okay I'm being ignored again." Jay began as Ghin continued his monologue.

"Shortly after arriving there, our 50 ship fleet." Ghin paused as he began to wince at the memory. "The whole damn fleet. It was brought down my one man!" This revelation shocked everyone even Luffy who's yelling was drowned out by Usopp's yelling. Jay began to sweat as the news hit him, he looked over to Zoro who twitched slightly but looked seemingly unshaken. "It happened in an instant, once he appeared our ships started to all go down. We were incredibly lucky that storm hit, we would have died otherwise. I don't know how many ships we lost, or how many we have at the moment. The whole thing still haunts me, I don't want to remember it. His cold hawk-like eyes, they felt like death itself."

"Wh-What!?" Zoro said suddenly leaning forward.

"Zoro?" Jay asked as Usopp looked at him curiously. Zoro however ignored him as his attention was now fully commanded by the discussion.

"Must have been Hawk-Eye." Zeff said as he crossed his arms. "The way you say he took down entire ships, the scars on your boats, and the fact that you described him as such. There is no doubt that Hawk-Eye took you all down."

"H-Hawk-Eye!?" Zoro said now quivering.

"Huh? Zoro you know him?" Luffy said looking back.

"Yea, he is the one I'm looking for." Zoro said returning to his more calm state.

"The worlds strongest swordsman?" Jay asked as he remember Zoro mentioning it to him before.

"Yea the one I have to defeat." Zoro said narrowing in on his determination. "I left home and went off to sea in order to meet him."

"Oh I see." Luffy understood Zoro.

"So did Hawk-Eye have a long standing grudge with Kreig or something." Sanji asked.

"We never did anything to him!" Ghin yelled back.

"Did you happened to disturb him while he was napping?" Zeff asked as Ghin became visibly upset.

"Cut the shit!" he yelled. "Why would he want to destroy us over something that small!"

"Calm down lackey." Zeff began. "i was only giving an example of the kind of place the Grand Line is."

"What does he mean?" Usopp asked as Zoro answered.

"He probably means anything can happen." Zoro said walking back and leaning on the wall. Luffy began to shake.

"I'm not surprised, considering everything we heard, about the Grand Line just in our time here." Jay rubbing the back of his head. Luffy's shaking began to capture their attention and just as soon he popped back up and proclaimed excitingly.

"I can't wait! I'm going to the Grand Line!"

"Yup my ambition lies on the Grand Line so that's where I'm going." Zoro said folding his arms.

"I have somewhere I must definitely go, so of course I'm going as well!" Jay said cracking his knuckles.

"What are you guys, Stupid." Sanji said looking up at them. "Guys like you always end up dying first."

"You don't have to call us stupid." Zoro began "When I resolved myself to become the worlds best swordsman I left home and devoted everything to that dream. It was my decision to do so, so the only one who can call me stupid is me." Sanji looked up at Zoro in silence until Luffy broke that silence.

"Yea! Me too!" pumping his fists into the air.

"Me too as a man of the sea of course!" Usopp said as Zoro bopped the back of his head.

"Well for you that's a lie." Zoro said sarcastically.

Jay couldn't say that he held the same resolve. He felt as though he lacked a dream to pursue, but perhaps an adventure like this was the only call he needed. Besides he had the Pokedex, he wanted to learn more about Pokemon, and not to mention .

"Yea they're right, we're out here for our own sake. Our own dreams, there is nothing stupid about that." Jay said looking on Sanji as he made a face indicating his annoyance.

"Whatever." he said as he looked away. Zeff looked onto him with a small smile.

"Hey you lot! Do you understand the situation we're in right now!" Patty yelled waving around his fork. "Don Kreig's huge ship is right out front and the once starving pirates are now eating their full ready to take this ship from us! If you wanna go on about dreams, save it for after we deal with them!" Patty was right, of course he was even in the midst of discussing ones romantic dream, a peril like this cannot be forgotten.

"I can hear them they're coming now!" One chef proclaimed as the ship out front started to show pirates repelling down its massive sides.

"Here they come." Jay said mentally readying himself his eyes turning a bright blue.

"Yea get ready." Zoro said as he grabbed his swords.

"O-Oh no." Usopp said as he watched on in horror. The heat began to build within Jay as he readied to transform however before he could finish, something happened that stole the breath and action of everyone present. The ship out front appeared to be attacked and then immediately began to sink! Screams of the pirates could be heard as they cried out for their captain.

"The anchor! Lower it or will be going down with them!" Zeff cried out, as one of the chefs ran towards the anchor room.

"Crap Johnny, Yosaku, and Nami are still out there!" Zoro said jumping the rail.

"Crap!" Jay said jumping behind him as Usopp opted to take the stairs down. As they ran out Jay could see the ensuing chaos the massive Panther headed ship that was Don Kreig's main Galleon was now in three pieces, all smoothly cut. The ships descended into the water claiming the lives of some unfortunate pirates. "What the hell happened!" Jay screamed as he saw Johnny and Yosaku swim to the Baratie's edge. He joined Luffy, Zoro, and Usopp when he got there he saw that Nami was not present. "Where's Nami?" Zoro asked as the other too began to sob.

"Big Sis Nami, is gone." They said in unison.

"What do you mean!" Jay yelled as they were quick to answer him.

"She took the ship and all the treasure and left!"

"WHAT!" they all said in unison as Jay backed up to the wall he began to panic. 'Everything is going downhill VERY FAST!' Jay started to steam sweat as he tried to catch his breath he noticed Zoro who was now in a similar state.

"Zoro?" Jay tried to reach out to him "Zoro!?" his calls go unnoticed. In an effort to see what had enamored Zoro he peered into the same direction as him. There he saw it a small boat with a man riding atop it. The man had a large feathered hat on and what appeared to be a giant sword at his back. Two candles sat aside him and for some reason their flame burned green. Even through the fog that had surrounded him Jay could see it. Those piercing yellow Hawk-Like eyes.

"Hawk-Eye?" Zoro said as he looked over in a mixture of nervousness and anticipation, something Jay himself is all to accustom to.

"Not even a week in and here I am." Jay said as the steamed that represented his evaporated sweat began to blow even more. "Face to face with power like that."
