Hey guys! Let me start off by saying, I'm sorry for not updating Requiem of a Jedi. Not only do I have a job now (which takes up most of my time anyway), but I also have a severe case of writer's bloc. I know the direction of where I want the Tri-Verse Saga to go. I just have no idea how to write my next chapter. So I'm sorry if this is not the update you've been hoping for. That's not to say that the story is dead. More like, it's being put on hold while I iron out some new ideas.

Which brings me to this little subject: The Aspect of Fire. A great series which is being written by fellow author, Roku - Molester of Science. If you haven't seen it, I suggest you read his first story "Careful what you wish for", as well as the sequel he is currently writing, "Skyfall". Centered in the Mass Effect Universe, the series brings in elements from other universes, such as Alien vs Predator, Star Wars, Dead Space, Call of Duty, Halo, and The Last Airbender. Roku has given me permission to write the backstory for a character who will appear later on in Skyfall, and how the character gets from his universe to the Mass Effect Universe. And yes, if you've already noticed, this will be a crossover between Mass Effect and Halo. For those of you who have been following the story Skyfall, you can probably guess who will be introduced. For those of you who don't know, you'll find out soon enough.

So, just to get you warmed up, here's the trailer for The Aspect of Fire - Return of Silentium.

Disclaimer: I do not own Mass Effect or Halo. +Gets stared down by Roku+ Okay, okay, or The Aspect of Fire. However, I do own this story, and any OCs I introduce are mine.

Everything on the planet below looked peaceful. It seemed peaceful. It even felt peaceful. The city was bustling with activity, people moving to and fro, cars and trucks buzzing by on the roads, and the moon shining bright overhead. To all who lived there, everything was at peace.

And in the blink of an eye, that peace was shattered.

An orange beam of light came down from the sky above and impacted in the middle of the city. The people saw this and tried to flee. But their attempts of saving themselves would prove fruitless. Their skin burned away, then the muscle and tissue, next the organs, and finally the skeletons. Everyone burned away, leaving nothing but ash.

But the chaos didn't stop there. It soon spread, the beam of light consuming everything in its path. The wildlife, the people. Anything with skin and bones could not escape. It consumed everything on the planet before finally stopping, and the beam of light disappeared.

Peace returned, but nothing lived to sense it. To feel it.

All that was left was a planet. An empty, dead planet.

The Master Chief is missing. The Didact has taken Earth. Humanity faces extinction yet again. So they turn to their allies, the United Species Coalition, for help. Faced with this new threat, the Combined Fleet of Prideful Vengeance sets out to find the Demon of the Covenant and bring him home. But fate has other plans for them.
