A/N: Hey guys! I'm back! *gets punched* Yeah. I deserved that. *gets hit by wasabi (the sauce, not the character)* I deserved that too. Sorry... Anyways... School was finally let out, and since this story had a higher demand, I updated this first (if you follow my other story that I'm working on). So apologies for leaving y'all hanging. Hope this can compensate for my lack of updates over the school year, though it is shorter than the others, as I have to devote time to homework for SAT classes. Grr. Preparing for college. How do you put up with it, Hiro?! You're fourteen and in college, while I don't even want to think about the future! Anyway, sorry again, and enjoy!

Disclaimer: If I said it once, I said it a million times. I own nothing. Except the plot. I own that.

Warning!: Bullying

Chapter 3: Ow

Hiro's POV

It's been two days since that stupid Danny caught me alone in the garden and beat me up, and things are steadily getting worse.

The day after the garden incident, during Advanced Calculus, I tried to sit as far away from Johnson as I could, but somehow he still wound up only two seats behind me. And so, for the rest of the class Johnson threw some more paper and flicked two erasers and a sharp pencil at me.

No one noticed, or cared. The professor was still rambling on in a dull voice, his back to us.

I had tried to ignore Johnson, and just put my head down on my desk and I even tried to get interested in the math equations that Professor Duncan was rambling on about. But the ammunition just kept on coming.

And then, yesterday, Danny cornered me right after Engineering class, and dragged me towards the most isolated boys' bathroom we had on campus, which, conveniently, was empty and located on the most northern side of campus, next to the old and abandoned science labs, which were under construction with fences and tape around the area.

I had tried to get away, but all he had to say to me was "Tadashi's grade" and I shut up, mentally preparing for my inevitable beating. Then he proceeded to threaten me and call me names, nothing that I couldn't tolerate. I mean, I was pretty use to being bullied by now, what with about seven years of it. I merely shot some comebacks of my own, and some punches when it seemed like he was getting the upper hand.

I thought that was going to be it, with some punches and kicks and threats, and then Danny would shove me to the smelly dirty floor and walk away, leaving me to clean up and to think of an adequate excuse for Tadashi. Nothing special or different.

But then, unexpectedly, Danny grabbed me and shoved me into a stall and was about to give me a swirly.

Oh man, I was really scared then. I've been beaten up, shoved into lockers, trash cans, and even locked in the janitor's closest a couple of times in my life. But no one really did the swirly to me, and frankly, I didn't want it. So when it dawned on me what Danny was about to do, I panicked.

I started thrashing and screaming, throwing punches randomly, wondering how the heck did no one hear all of this commotion. Oh yeah. Construction.

I'll have to admit, Danny may be a two-faced son of a gun, but he sure does think things through when he wants to.

Anyway, so right before he was about to dunk my head in the toilet, I somehow, in my haze of panic, managed to kick him where the-sun-don't-exactly-shine and Danny fell to the floor clutching said area in pain. I took that opportunity and ran.

He yelled after me, and through his cussing and threats and moans of pain, he kept screaming about Tadashi's grade again, but I wasn't paying attention. I was too busy running away.

Now I regret it. Tadashi's grade might be going down.

I was extra careful when running away, and I looked around the halls as I ran, making sure to avoid people, or at least stay away from their sights, since they might be curious and ask why was there an injured kid on campus.

One problem. I had to find a place where I could check my injuries without anyone seeing me, but where?

After a couple of moments, I decided to go to my lab. Tadashi, Gogo, Honey Lemon and Wasabi still had about ten minutes of class, in fact, the latter two had twenty. I had no idea where Fred was, if he was still practicing for that game on Friday he told us about. But the lab seemed like the best place to go, so I went.

When I entered the hallway leading to the science labs for the students, I made sure to avoid the students that were there working on their inventions. There weren't a lot of people to begin with, but I'm a pretty popular guy, what with me being a prodigy and all, plus the label "Tadashi's little brother" was tagged on my back.

Anyway, it was a good thing that everybody there looked pretty occupied with their own contraptions, so I snuck into my lab pretty easily without anyone noticing and asking questions. Well, it probably helped that I didn't really look that bad, in my opinion. Just a little panicked, that's all.

Once I got into the my lab, I closed the door and went to my desk. Pulling the bottom drawer open, I took out the first aid kit that was in there.

After I finished dealing with my injuries, I scanned myself once again to see if I looked presentable.

The bump on my head that Danny first gave me was relatively small now, and it didn't hurt when I touched it. The bruise on my leg was better too, you could barely see it. The bruises on my arms were starting to fade as well, though I still wore my long sleeves to cover them up. My ribs seemed to improve a little, though I still winced when I moved too fast.

The gravel scratches I got from Danny at the garden were somewhat faded now, though, just the other day Honey fretted over me when she saw them. Good thing Tadashi was talking to a professor after class and wasn't there, or Honey would have panicked and fretted even more, and make it seem thrice as bad, like I was dying or something.

In the end, I told her the same story: I fell.

She bought it, after some more fast-thinking on my end.

I also told her that Tadashi already knew about this, uh, "incident" and saw my injuries, so she wouldn't need to tell Tadashi again. I told her Tadashi treated my wounds for me. Well, I mean, it's only a half-lie. Just the second half wasn't exactly true.

She nodded her head, but continued to fret over me in a motherly-manner until I pointed out to her that I need to go to class. She reluctantly let me go, but not without handing me a cookie from her lunch and a pinch on my cheek, careful of my scratches.

I made sure the rest of the gang weren't too punctilious as Honey was, and I tried not to stand too close to them so that they couldn't see my minor injuries that well.

But my newly acquired wounds included another small bump on my head (though, not nearly as big as the one Danny gave me) from the sharp pencil Johnson threw at me. Who knew that a tool for writing that was allowed in elementary classrooms could be so dangerous?

I got some more bruises from Danny, right next to the old ones. But that shouldn't be worrisome. I can just cover them up like I did before.

Anyway, that brings me to today. Friday. Good old Friday. I only had one class on Friday, and it was in the afternoon, but I left the house at the same time as Tadashi. That way I got extra time to work on the chip for Baymax.

On the way to school, Tadashi and I made small-talk while riding on his moped, though he did stare at my face every once in a while, deep in thought. He asked me a couple of times if I was alright, and I suspected if Honey had said anything. I expertly answered his questions though and put on my best innocent face. He didn't say anything else, so I'm guessing I'm in the clear for now.

So here I am, in my lab, working on my chip. Tadashi, Gogo and Honey have class right now, and Wasabi gave me a ruffle on my head as a greeting when I entered the lab. Fred came by for a couple of minutes, just to wave "hi", and then he said he had to go meet up with the football team again and left. Wasabi said he was working on his lasers again, and he seemed pretty into it.

That is, until a fellow student accidently set his anti-gravity Frisbee flying and into Wasabi's desk where all of his tools were aligned. Wasabi forgave the guy and all, it was just an accident, but he had to reorganize his tools (which were all over the floor) and make sure everything was where it belonged before he could continue with his lasers.

I offered to help but he smiled and told me he could handle it and I should go work on my surprise for Tadashi.

Darn. How did Wasabi know of the flying chip I was making? I bet it was probably Baymax. Whenever someone asks him where I am, he gives a pretty detailed description on where I'm supposed to be, what I'm doing, and how long it's probably going to take me. Well, Baymax wouldn't be a good nurse without all that information, now, would he?

Anyway, the chip was almost complete, just needed some modifications here and there. The suit was almost done too, though I don't have any idea how Baymax would be able to fit into the suit; it seems like I'll just have to push and stuff his belly in. I finally fixed the thrusters, and they were responding beautifully now. So I'm pretty close to finishing; I estimate about another week or so, and the suit and chip will be perfect. Then I can surprise Tadashi.

Just when I was taking out a screwdriver, so screw in some nails for the suit, I accidently dropped it on my foot.

I hissed out an "ow" before I could stop myself.

And before I knew it, Baymax inflated and said those words: "Hello, I am Baymax, your personal healthcare companion."

Oh, shoot.

If Baymax scans me, he's going to notice my injuries and maybe even accidentally blabber to Tadashi. Then Danny will find out and Tadashi's grade is going to drop!

What am I going to do?

That... was... terrible. Really. Not even close to my best work. *sigh* Sorry, but with SAT over my head, my writing skills refuse to cooperate. I will try my very best, though! This was kind of a filler chapter, but Tadashi's going to find out about Hiro's problems with bullying in the next, so stay tuned! I also apologize for any falsehoods of college and/or bullying and basically anything else in this fic. Anyway, thank you for reviewing/following/favoriting!
