A/N: there is a time jump of one year between the previous chapter and this one. Luke and Thalia are now Second Years.
Because there is no Voldemort in this story, here's a background I made up for Harry, since his parents are still dead: When he was one, his parents took him out and there two wizards were duelling. A spell got out of control and there was a resulting explosion that ultimately killed the two duellers as well as Harry's parents. Somehow, Harry made it out with a lightning-shaped scar.

Percy looked between platforms 9 and 10. Where is 9 ¾? He stared at the wall between the two stations. Then, someone smacked him on the shoulder. "Why are you staring at the wall? You look like an idiot!" Thalia said.
"Where's 9 ¾ ?"
"Between 9 and 10, duh."
Before Percy could reply, Thalia turned to her uncle. "Do we go now?" Hades nodded and gestured at the wall. "Thalia, go first. Then Bianca. Percy, and next, Jason. I will go last, with Nico and Hazel."
Thalia glanced around at the Muggles. When they were not looking, she ran, pushing her trolley, straight at the wall between 9 and 10. She disappeared. Bianca, visibly gulping, squeezed her eyes shut and followed suit. Poof, she disappeared as well.
"Is this some sort of trick?" Percy demanded.
"Percy, Jason, your turn."
Percy looked at Jason and asked a silent question. Are you ready? Jason gave a thumbs-up. Percy took a deep breath, and charged at the wall with Jason. Wild thoughts ran through his mind. I'm gonna crash, gonna die, before I even step on the train! Any second now… But he did not crash. He was still running. He opened his eyes and saw a whole new platform. It was crowded with tons of families, with big trunks and cages with owls and other pets. Steam puffed from the scarlet train, with gleaming letters that spelt out Hogwarts Express. Percy sped past a chubby-looking boy saying, "Gran, I lost my toad again."
The old lady beside him sighed. "Oh, Neville."
It wasn't until Percy heard a yelp did he finally stop his trolley. He looked away from the train and realised he nearly crashed into Bianca. "Watch where you're going, Perce!" Percy scratched the back of his neck sheepishly. Jason was smirking at him, for he had made it here safely. Thalia had been talking to a family of redheads before she was rudely interrupted. Percy took it the family. There was plump woman with curly hair that looked very motherly. Beside her stood a tall boy with a shiny prefect's badge pinned to his robes. A pair of twins stood at her other side. They looked like they were in Thalia's year or older. They had a mischievous glint in their eyes. Another boy –– how many children are there? Percy thought –– stood next to a crying redhead girl. He was almost as tall as the twins, but was probably in Percy and Jason's year.
Thalia huffed. "As I was saying, this is my cousin, Bianca di Angelo. This is Jason Grace, my baby brother ("I'm not a baby!") and my cousin, Percy Jackson. His real name is Perseus, though."
One of the twins grinned. He pulled his prefect brother over. "Percy, meet Percy." Percy (Jackson) stared at Prefect Percy.
"Okay," Bianca said. "Your turn to introduce yourselves."
That's when Hades came walking over with little Hazel and Nico stumbling along. They introduced themselves and the plump woman shook his hand. After a brief introduction from the redhead family, Percy knew them as the Weasleys. The children were Prefect Percy, who was in sixth year, the twins, Fred and George, official Gryffindor pranksters, a year above Thalia. Ron was the sixth child in the family and was starting Hogwarts this year. The youngest sister, Ginny, would be starting next year.
"See you at Hogwarts," Thalia said. "Gonna go find Luke." The second year strode off in another direction. Prefect Percy bid his mother goodbye and stalked off to the prefect carriages. Hades looked at the first years. "You three should go board the train soon. It's nearly eleven." He offered a few parting words to his nephews and daughter, and, in a rare moment of intimacy, placed a light kiss on Bianca's head. Nico and Hazel hugged their sister and cousins goodbye, and the three of them left through the wall.
Molly Weasley gestured at the train. "You should probably board now if you want seats together." Molly kissed her children on the cheek. "Fred and George, behave yourselves! Don't go blowing up a toilet or anything."
"We never blew up a toilet before, Mum! Thanks for the idea!"
Molly gave her sons a withering glare. They shut their mouths with an audible click.
After they boarded, the Hogwarts Express soon started moving. Ginny ran after the train, crying and waving.
"Bye Ginny!"
"We'll send you lots of owls!"
"And a Hogwarts toilet bowl seat!"
"GEORGE!"
"Just kidding, Mum!"
Soon, the train turned round the corner and Molly and Ginny disappeared from their line of vision. The twins walked off to find their friends Lee Jordan and the Stolls. Ron, Percy and Jason were left to their own devices.
"Find a compartment?" Ron suggested. Percy and Jason nodded. Not long after, they came to a compartment that was empty except for one first-year boy.
"Mind if we sit here?" Jason asked. The boy shook his head. The three boys filed into the compartment and put their trunks on the luggage rack. After they had settled down, Percy noticed a scar on the boy's forehead. It was not very obvious, as it was covered by his hair, but Percy could make out a lightning shape…
"Wait. Are you Harry Potter?"
The boy look startled. "Yes, I am Harry Potter."
The three boys were shocked. Then, Ron asked quietly, "Do… do you remember the explosion?"
Harry frowned. "No, not really. A burst of green light, then it was very warm…"
Silence ensued.
Suddenly, Jason smacked his forehead. "Oh, right! Sorry, excuse us, we haven't introduced ourselves."
After a quick introduction, Harry asked if they were all pure-bloods. The three boys confirmed the fact.
"Must be cool, being in a wizarding family…" Harry murmured.
Jason laughed. "Trust me, it isn't that cool. Being called traitors all the time by those discriminating pure-blood families."
"At least you have three awesome wizarding siblings!" Harry said to Ron.
"I have six. Bill and Charlie already graduated. Having five older siblings isn't much fun either. I get all the second-hand items from my brothers. Charlie's old wand, Bill's old robes and Percy's old rat." Ron took out a fat, sleeping rat. "And people always want me to be as good as my brothers. Bill was Head Boy, Charlie was Quidditch captain, Percy a prefect. Even though Fred and George are pranksters, they have really good grades. A lot of pressure. Even if I do become Head Boy or prefect or captain, I won't be remembered for doing that because my brothers have already done it.
"Oh." Harry's shoulders slumped. "By the way, what's Quidditch?"
That subject seemed to lighten the mood. Ron, Percy and Jason were preparing to give a whole lecture about Quidditch when the trolley lady came. "Do you boys want any sweets?"
After the boys got the sweets, the three pure-bloods launched into their Quidditch lecture, occasionally taking bites from pumpkin pies, while Ron's uneaten sandwich laid on the seat. Thus, the four boys bonded over Chocolate Frogs, Fizzing Whizbees, and Quidditch talk.
