Sorry for this hiatus... I'm still writing this if you're still interested...
Well, Scorch Trials movie was a wee bit disappointing, but I love the Maze Runner anyways. What's your thought on it?

Three hours later, Newt and Thomas were in Thomas's apartment. Thomas was slouched on the couch, his laptop on his lap. Newt was curled up in the armchair, experimenting and playing with his phone. It was pleasantly quiet, until there was somebody outside the apartment who sounded like they were repeatedly slamming their palm on the door.
Thomas, who was very comfortable on the couch with his computer, looked over at Newt and said, "Hey, Newt?"
"Yeah?" Newt didn't look up from his phone.
"Wanna get the door?"
"It's your house. Go get it yourself." Newt still didn't look up.
"Worth a shot." Thomas set his computer to the side, forced himself to get off the couch, and opened the door. There Minho stood, a TV on a dolly behind him, seething. "Found your TV?" Thomas grinned.
"I hate you all." Minho shoved past him, and Thomas pressed himself against the wall in a hasty attempt to prevent getting run over by the weight of the dolly and TV.
"Just me and Newt here." Thomas nodded towards Newt, who now looked up.
"What happened?" Newt asked.
"Teresa's shuck driving, of course. She was paying no attention to speed limits, like yesterday. On the way home, a bird decided to fly really low in front of the car, like it was suicidal or something- so of course, the humane thing to do was brake, so Teresa has to slam the brakes because she's going so fast, and ends up having the tires squeal really loudly. A police officer ends up pulling us over and giving Teresa two fines- one for speeding, and the other is apparently because you're not supposed to be driving anyone besides yourself or a parent or family members for, like, the first six months of driving or something. The guy said she was lucky that they weren't gonna bring her down to the police station."
"Well, you got your TV, right?" Thomas offered.
"Wait, can Teresa not drive for six months since she doesn't have any family?" Newt asked.
"I guess. Or she has to learn to be a better driver before she gets back on the road so she doesn't get pulled over, because enough tickets can land you in jail, and since she's under eighteen, it's gotta be her parents who bail her out."
"Well, she doesn't have any shucking parents!" Newt sighed. "What's she gonna do?"
"How old did she say she was on her driver's license?"
"Heck if I know. Sixteen or seventeen, I'm guessing." Minho went into the kitchen and pulled out a pair of scissors to open up the TV box.
Thomas closed his laptop and went to Teresa's apartment. He knocked on the door and she opened it, "Hiya, Tom!"
"Don't get arrested. It appears you'll get into a bunch of crap if you do. You don't have parents to bail you out of jail!"
"I know, I know, don't worry." Teresa said dismissively. "My license says I'm seventeen and my birthday is October fourteenth. That's only a couple months. After that, I can get arrested and you guys can bail me out!" she winked at Thomas.
"I think you're taking this a little too lightly. You don't want to get arrested."
"I really like driving, so I think it's worth getting arrested for the sake of driving."
"Or maybe you could find an abandoned parking lot and work on your driving skills so that you can drive safely on public roads and you don't get arrested."
"Public roads are the experience. Abandoned lots would get me a false sense of security."
"You're aware of the 'false sense of security' or whatever, so it wouldn't have to. It would give you a chance to practice your skills, even if it's not real-life situations... or something."
"Whatever, Thomas." Teresa clearly didn't give a shuck about her problematic driving skills. "You'd understand if you learned how to drive."
"I think everyone else is too afraid to learn how to drive." Thomas sighed.
Teresa rolled her eyes. "Anyways, could you introduce me to Brenda?"
Thomas's phone then buzzed in his pocket. It was from Minho.
HELP ME. THERE'S A LOT OF WIRES.
"You all are so needy." Thomas complained.
"Excuse you."
"I need to help Minho set up his ever-precious television, and then I'll introduce you to Brenda." Thomas shoved his phone back into his pocket.
"Fine." Teresa followed Thomas back to his apartment, where Minho was sitting on the floor, holding up about five different wires in his hands.
"I hate assembly." Minho announced.
"Congratulations." Thomas sat down next to him. "What do you have to do?"
"Some stuff has to be plugged into other stuff and then other stuff has to be plugged into the outlet."
"You have a manual. Use that."
Minho shoved the manual at Thomas. "It's in black and white. And these wires are colored."
"Okay, you're definitely in a bad mood, so do you just want to take a break from this and come help introduce me to Brenda?" Teresa asked.
"...Your problems are not above mine, you crazy driver." Minho huffed.
"Oh, come on, please?" Teresa grinned.
"Fine." Minho stood up and he and Thomas followed Teresa out the door.
"Teresa... you have no idea where you're going." Thomas said.
"Right. Lead the way, Tom." Teresa grinned.
Thomas led them to 3-F and knocked on the door. Brenda's mother answered the door. "Can I help you?"
Thomas then realized there was a flaw in their plan. It was 12:30 on a Monday. Brenda was probably at school, because that's what people did at this time. They weren't science experiments. They had lives. Oh no oh no oh no... "Uh..."
However, Teresa seemed to realize that there was a flaw in this as well, and came to the rescue as best she could. "Hi, I'm Teresa and that's my brother... Thomas, and my... uh... cousin... Minho. You met Minho and Thomas the other day, we're your new neighbors. Uh... we were wondering if Brenda was home...?"
"Brenda's at school." Brenda's mom said slowly. "Of course, you look like you are school age as well..."
"Yeah, we just moved and we haven't been enrolled in school yet. Sorry about that, we forgot about the fact that just because we're not at school doesn't mean everyone else is." Teresa let out a high-pitched giggle.
"Ah, I see." Brenda's mom nodded. "She gets home at five, but school nights aren't usually good time. Friday evenings and the weekend work."
"Ah, yeah... okay... sorry about that."
"All good, sweetheart." Brenda's mom smiled sweetly.
"Well... see you around, I suppose!" Teresa said brightly.
"See you soon." Brenda's mom shut the door.
"I'm your cousin?" Minho asked as they walked back to the apartment.
"If I called you my brother, that would be more difficult to explain." Teresa shrugged.
"I could've been from another marriage... or adopted... how difficult is that?" Minho complained.
"Oh, get over yourself." Teresa laughed. "You're just being a baby because we nearly got arrested earlier."
"Well, that may just be part of it, yes." Minho stomped back to his apartment.
Teresa grinned as she watched him go.
Thomas rolled his eyes.
