"Let us always meet each other with smile,

for the smile is the beginning of love."

I was in the middle of finishing my report when I heard him playing the piano so gracefully in the living room. I put down my pencil and got up from the bed, slowly walking as to not disturb his session. The tunes he was producing through that piano was absolutely beautiful, I could not help myself but to lean on the wall nearby the big, black classical instrument. I found myself smiling while watching him being so into that piece. I was utterly mesmerised. I knew he was a man, but he was so beautiful in my eyes. I loved looking at the way his concentrated on the black and white keyboards, looking to right and left of it repeatedly, how the bangs of his hair would slowly swift along his forehead when his body rocked to the rhythm of the song and those talented fingers pressing on each key like he was playing with air.

He was truly amazing. I knew he had been working on a new piece for the past week, as he rarely came early to bed at those times. I did not mind it but sometimes I wished he would let himself relax from time to time instead of sitting on the stool, trying to make every little crotchet and minims perfectly synced with the melody.

Smiling to myself, I approached the man of my dreams and gently wrapped my arms around his neck, placing my head next to his. I matched the sway of my body with his, following his rhythm as he continued the piece of music. It was amazing, indeed. To feel your bodies unite with the melody, to know the chemistry you had intersect each other accordingly.

Within minutes, I felt the piece slowly reaching its end. Proceeding to embrace him a little tighter than before, his fingers finally slowed and pressed the far right of the piano. He leaned back further into me, closed his eyes and smiled to me. "That was wonderful," I let him know as I played with the strands of his hair. He grunted in response and I could feel him turning around the stool and faced me. His muscular arms then wrapped around my middle. He let out that boyish grin that I had come to love so much as I knew him in time and he placed his head on my chest. "I missed you," he murmured. "I'm sorry I haven't been attentive to you lately." His eyes closed as he let out a sigh. I played with the hair at the back of his head, twisting some of it and replied, "That's okay."

He pulled back to look me in the eyes and held my waist tighter. "I feel bad. You're always alone in the room these days." I chuckled lightly and bended my head to match his sitting height, and placed my lips upon his softly. It was a chaste one, but I filled it with the love I had for this man before me. "I'm going to make dinner," I told him and pulled back to move away from his hug.

Barely reaching two steps away, I felt my wrist being tugged and then I found myself back in the same position that I was in before. "Let's stay like this for awhile," he muffled while having his head nudge further into my chest. I could feel the warmth he radiated off by that simple gesture and I smiled. I knew work had taken a toll on him and he could not avoid it not much further than I could with my work but I understood it. I understood him. I was just happy if he was doing something with passion instead of feeling forced of doing such work. We remained in that position for a quite some time. "I love you." I heard him say in the moment of silence we were in. I chuckled and replied with the same three words, pulling the bangs that were blocking his mysterious yet full of emotions eyes.

And then I heard my stomach growled. "Let's get dinner. I'll sit with you out here after we're done, all right?"

He nodded and held my hand as I pulled him and directed ourselves to the kitchen.
